Good food, but the experience fell short The pizza was great, but the service could have been better. We arrived a few minutes before our reservation time. One of the orders was incorrect, so we had to wait for it to be fixed. That wasn’t a problem — mistakes happen. Near the end of our visit, we were asked to move to make room for other customers. The way this was handled made us feel unwelcome, although we were already about to leave and asked for the check. The staff referred us to the terms and conditions of the reservation, implying that we were overreacting and that we had arrived late. In reality, only part of our group was delayed, not the entire party. Additionally, because of the ordering mistake, not everyone was able to start eating when the pizzas arrived. Overall, this situation could have been handled in a more considerate way.

Casual atmosphere, friendly staff, and, last but not least, truly delicious pizza! Highly recommended!

By far the best pizza in Zaandam, nice place.

Today, a friend told me a new Italian pizzeria had opened on the Westzijde, so I was very curious. I arrived at Bacio Pizzaria around 6:41 PM to order two pizzas and a lasagna. To my surprise, the cashier told me: "Sorry, we don't do that. We're busy, and if you want to pick up, it's only available from 8:00 PM." Honestly, I've never experienced anything like this before. The girl behind the counter, with long black hair and glasses, was not friendly at all and very curt. Anything but customer-friendly. It's a shame, because the pizzas can be quite good, but with this attitude from the staff, I won't be seeing them again. I'd rather go to Pizza Napolitana at Bentinckstraat 30, where customer service is a given.

Well, I think I'm almost certain I had the best pizza I've ever had in the Netherlands here 🫶💖 And everything else we ordered was delicious too. Highly recommended, definitely.

What a lovely place! Because of a flight delay we booked a room in a hotel nearby and decided to have dinner here. This was such a lovely experience. The owner was so kind and friendly. We had a conversation at the end because I told her it seems like a family place. Italians come here and sit and stay even after kitchen is closed and talk with the staff. Everything seems so relaxed and lively at the same time. We started with the burrata and tomatoes. So soft and creamy and the dressing was a nice mixture of sweet and acid. The pizza was delicious and we could exchange one topping without any issue. We also shared the salmon lasagna with ricotta and it was so fresh and tasty. My mother said the best lasagna she had in a while. The delay was a terrible experience but this visit was our silver lining of it all. I would definitely recommend coming here and enjoying the atmosphere as well as the delicious food.

TIP for everyone this October: grab that pumpkin pizza! It’s SO awesome and the first ever without red sauce that didn’t make me miss the red sauce 🥰 Bacio is amazing, my favorite pizzeria in the Netherlands ❤️

The pizza is a true delight. It's very good. Quality ingredients. Great atmosphere and good service. The only thing I'd like to say: the waitress came to clean the table next to us with a spray, and the smell hit me. It's not pleasant; the taste of my food mingles with that smell. For everything else, a 10 out of 10.

The Margherita pizza is really good.

We went to dinner and ordered a pizza and some cannelloni. The pizza was delicious, but the cannelloni were a little dry and lacked flavor. They were delicious, but they had almost no tomato or bechamel sauce. The staff was very friendly.

We went to this pizza restaurant as a group of friends with prior reservation on a weekday for dinner. I usually don't like pizzas but my Italian friend recommended it so gave it a shot. And I wasn't disappointed! The pizza was delicious, the portion size was bigger than expected and they even provided me with chilli oil which was really nice. Our group tried different types of vegetarian and non veg pizza (Calabrese, salami) and they were all excellent! Will definitely come back when I'm in the mood for pizza!

If you want good pizza and a nicely laid out restaurant with open style kitchen. This place is great. Young couple own the place. Pride in ownership shows through. Delicious pizza we had salad with a balsamic reduction that was fantastic. Nice walk to location not far from shopping.

The burrata with tomatoes as an appetizer was excellent. Delicious oil with a pepper 🌶️ in it. The pizza was tasty. Correctly topped and not drowned in cheese. A bit of carbon on the bottom, but that adds to the taste. It's busy, so make a reservation.

The pizzas are really tasty, with ingredients that you don't just see anywhere on the menu. You can see that the food is prepared with a lot of passion. It's my favorite Italian restaurant! You will also find it pleasant to sit there and you will be helped quickly and in a friendly manner. The owner makes the tiramisu and the cannoli herself and the cannoli in particular are delicious. You can even take them with you if you've had enough after one. In short, it's nice that this restaurant is now here and hopefully it is here to stay!

It was very busy here on a warm spring day. A reservation is recommended. We received a friendly welcome and started with a delicious spritz. I had the pizza tartufata and wanted it without gorgonzola and arugula, which was no problem. The pizza tasted excellent; the base was thin, richly topped and well baked in the brick oven. We finished with the cannoli and they were also very tasty. The staff is very friendly and despite the crowds we didn't have to wait long. It was very stuffy inside, also because the kitchen is open and you can look straight into the oven. Furthermore, it is very noisy, so hence 3 stars for atmosphere. All in all, definitely recommended, because the food is great.

We ordered because we wanted home delivery. The website was not clear that you could only pick up, the fact that you can pay in advance with Ideal and the option to give a tip is offered reinforces the idea that you order to have it delivered. If you want to have it delivered you have to go elsewhere, if you want to pick it up yourself you can go here.

Generally acceptable but a lot to improve. First of all they don’t value your time. We had a table booked but on arrival they told us that we need to wait 5 minutes. Pizza is okay. Dough is a bit heavy, they put olives in the oven that makes them rubber-like, crust is too big and thus unevenly baked. Not soggy for sure To be frank it exceeded my expectations based on the first impression of rude personnel. Worth to try, maybe you’ll be more lucky. But not for me, there are other Italian places around

Delicious food! What an extensive choice of pizzas and original ones. It was actually difficult to choose from that, while there are also other very attractive things on the menu. We had a delicious starter dish for 2 people. highly recommended. The pizza afterwards actually made the meal complete. But there were delicious dishes with the desserts, so we ordered one together with espresso for the two of us. We will definitely come back, because we want to try more dishes. By the way, a more than excellent address for vegetarians! (then you just can't have Little Italy as a starter). Although the place can be very full, both children and dogs are welcome! In short, super hospitable. TOP

Since we were in the city spontaneously, we didn't know that this restaurant is always busy. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was very cozy. Een teleurstellende avond Persoonlijk vind ik het altijd jammer wanneer er naast de drankjes geen kraanwater besteld kan worden, maar zoiets zal de pret niet drukken. Wat er wel voor zorgde dat we onze pizza's voortaan ergens anders gaan halen is dat de vegerarische pizza doordrenkt was met citroenolie en en 4,75 wordt gerekend voor 1 bolletje kinderijs. Daarnaast moesten er in de wc de handdoekjes zelf uit de kast gehaald worden. Zaandam heeft hele mooie alternatieven om een goede pizza te halen dus mijn advies is om deze zaak over te slaan
