Very good restaurant highly recommended!

Food was ok, but not special. The service was friendly but seemed a bit tired.

Ordered and paid for takeout food online. The restaurant turned out to be closed. I've been trying to get in touch for a week now to get my money back.

I was hospitalized for salmonella. I have a lawsuit against the restaurant. DO NOT COME HERE.

Nice little restaurant, few meters away from the typical crowded tourist area. Therefore more quiet and chilled. Good chef, nice food. Would totally recommend.

We came from Germany for a short trip and don't know much about Amsterdam and the surrounding area. We came across this small, cozy restaurant through Google Maps. We liked it very much. Above all, the food, which really had a unique taste and the owner, who prepared and brought it to us with a lot of sympathy! We'll come back on another trip! Thank you very much!:)

The tortellini was really nice, but then I we also ordered the lasagna and I can truly say this was just awful. I messaged the Resturant privately so they could explain or even take my comment on but had no reply and tbh seems like they didn’t even care. Not a great time

Highly recommend a visit for both locals and visitors! A hidden gem with incredible Italian food and drinks in a very cozy & romantic atmosphere. I especially liked the wide selection of pastas, I had the ravioli of the day which was incredible! The tiramisu was also very nice. The owner/chef was very kind, helpful, and served everything with smile! A must visit in Zaandam

Relaxed place and friendly service and ambiance. House wine is nice. Menu not that big but I see that as good. The gnocchi were fantastic and the pasta dish of the day with chicken was great. The tiramisu is a killer and super delicious, must eat! And try the dolce wine, sweet and wonderful.

Went in and got fresh pasta within 15 minutes. Very very good food (and great portion size) and good service.

Fresh pasta for a good price and many changing daily menus. The chef who also served us (due to staff shortages that evening) was very nice and despite everything quickly served. Highly recommended and we will definitely come back!

Last Friday we ate Menu della Casa at Ciao Foodbar. It met all expectations, as Italian food should be! The Rosso Tuscany wine that we had also tasted very good. And the dessert was heavenly. Cozy and beautifully decorated restaurant. Friendly host and chef, excellent service. If you are in Zaandam or near Zaandam, go here because it really is a hidden gem!!

Ordered via home delivery. We thought the caprese salad with buffalo mozzarella was excellent. The pollo pesto was also popular. The lasagna was tasty, but it had cooled down a bit and was a bit on the black side on top. The comment we placed with the order had been read. Fine!

Many other restaurants tried this place, Ciao seems to succeed thanks to the delicious pastas and honest Italian dishes, friendly service and plenty of choice. The coffee (illy) is also of excellent quality! Good price/quality ratio. Also has a home delivery service. Recommended!

We just finished up a 2 week vacation through Europe with dinner here and consensus for all 6 of us was this was by far the best meal of our trip! Wish we could have eaten here every night! Can’t miss this place!

Very bad experience. Delivery took a very long time after which I received pasta with several black hairs in it. After calling, they indicated that they had “no black hairs in the kitchen. “Then I had to order somewhere else.” Never ordering here again.

Had a very nice meal yesterday. The house menu, anti pasta, 3 types of pasta and for dessert lemon cake and Tiramisu, everything equally delicious. Recommended

A real asset in Zaandam! Nice little restaurant on the Zuiddijk where delicious Italian food is prepared. We had the chef's three-course menu and were really surprised by the delicious dishes. We will definitely come back!
