I Due Fratelli in Wijk 21 Oude Haven

Delicious food at Vecchia Italia Friendly staff The restaurant is now called I Due Fratelli and when the owner is there, her two daughters are usually there too. Small portions, but it's okay to charge a bit more for a dish. This restaurant is currently closed. Who knows why?

It was okay, the staff were friendly. The pasta was slightly over-peppered and only lukewarm, and the pizza sauce could have been a bit spicier. Overall, it was quite nice, but the price/performance ratio was a bit tricky.

If you are looking for a real Italian restaurant then this is the place for you, excellent Italian cuisine accompanied by a warm and welcoming service.

It was a pleasure to find this reasonably priced Italian restaurant next to one of the most beautiful places we visited. From the first moment, the waitress's service was exquisite, truly Italian, even though she spoke perfect Spanish, French, and a smattering of Turkish. We ordered pizzas and lasagna. The pizzas were really good, although not very large, and the lasagna was large and very good. Lavazza coffee was cheaper than what you'd usually find anywhere else in the Netherlands. In short, if you're passing by and hungry, don't hesitate to visit. P.S. We were traveling with a baby, and they made our stay much easier with high chairs, a changing table, and heating up food...

Wouldn’t recommend, my partner and I went Saturday night, food that did arrive was edible! although “fresh pizza” was slightly on the cold side! although there were only 2 of us, one of our mains was missed! Owner did own to her mistake, how it was forgotten is just crazy given only 2 of were in there😂 the one main that did turn up, was another to feed a 1 year old. Not one too make a scene in a restaurant, but only going on your own is the way forward😂 & the service, you get better at a funeral directors.

Fantastic Italian food, one of the best you can get. The pizzas and the pasta were amazing, as well as all the starters we got. Very warm hospitality by the staff and the vibe of the restaurant was great.

Ik kom zelf uit de horeca. Ik houd van lekker eten. Deze tent verbaasde me oprecht. Veel 'Italiaanse' gerechten geprobeerd. Maar daaaaamn. Deze tent heeft een geweldige kok, een uitmuntende service en het meedenken zonder te vragen brengt al veel meerwaarde mee. Sorry voor iedereen die dit leest, maar het eten was te lekker om vooraf een foto te kunnen maken. Ik zal hier veel vaker komen.

Wat een leuk Italiaans restaurantje! Zeer knus en sfeervol. De bediening was zeer vriendelijk en niet opdringerig. Het eten was top! Ik kan niet anders dan 5 sterren geven. Zeker een aanrader!

All the food was fresh and Delicious especially the lasagna was really tasty

Waitress was friendly and helpful. Portion was a decent size, pasta was al dente and tasty, very good value for the price. Will definitely go back when I'm next in Zaandam.

Per il compleanno della mia ragazza, ci hanno accolti fuori orario e abbiamo mangiato un ottimo tiramisù. CONSIGLIATISSIMO!

Vom Essen waren wir leider sehr enttäuscht. Ich hatte die Lasagne, die in der Mikrowelle aufgewärmt würde, trotz Pizzaofen. Für 14,50 € eine Frechheit aber mit den Touristen kann man es ja machen. Mein Freund hatte die Pizza mit Patate (Kartoffelscheiben) und Salsiccia. Hier sollte man wissen das die Pizza ohne Tomatensauce ist aber dafür mit sehr viel Käse. Aus den Patate wurden Pattatine (Pommes (die leider sehr nach Fett Geschmack haben)) dadurch wurde die Pizza noch fettiger und somit ungenießbar. Das ganz für 16,50 €. Die Preise sind sehr überzogen für das was geboten wird. Sehr sehr schade 😕 denn das Ambiente fanden wir eigentlich ganz nett. Das Lokal war auch sehr leer, keine Stammgaste. Hätte uns zu denken geben müssen. Naja egal, wiederkommen werden wir bestimmt nicht noch einmal. Da kann der Hunger noch so groß sein!

I ordered carbonara but the pasta was slightly undercooked. The ham was good but the portion was too small. I also ordered margherita, I’ve tried better one with cheaper price.

Noi 4 italiani in vacanza, accolti con un puro spirito di accoglienza ITALIANA....accolti fuori orario di lavoro...Luigi e Andrea veri italiani con un grande cuore ci hanno cucinato pasta e pizza con antipasto di bruschette....tutto OTTIMO. Si è riso e scherzato in sieme per tutto il tempo.... vi consiglio di andarli a trovare e gustare le lore pietanze ITALIANE Pagato il giusto

Personale accogliente e disponibile alle richieste. Locale piccolo, ma confortevole. Ottima la parmigiana di melanzane suggerita dal cameriere.

Mooie plek. Mooi terras, lieve mensen. Voor de verbouwing goede prijs kwaliteitsverhouding. Kwaliteit eten en rijkelijk belegde broodjes. Na de verbouwing, betaalde veelsteveel voor wat ik kreeg. (Roma pistolet met weinig beleg 7€ stelde echt niks voor. Zou er makkelijk 3 op kunnen) De calzone was volgens mijn vriendin geen aanrader. hoop dat jullie hier iets aan kunnen doen. Kom dan graag weer langs.

Al llegar la dueña se dio cuenta que éramos españoles y nos habló en español, fue una sorpresa muy agradable. La comida estaba buena dentro de lo que puedes encontrar por la zona, eso si para nosotros no era nada del otro mundo

Reviews seemed great so was curious to check it out. The place is cozy and itallian ppl working there create a good atmosphere. We tried carbonara which was acceptable but not exceptional taste (average) and fairly a small portion for the price. Maybe we got unlucky since it was the end of the day.

Tolle kleine unscheinbare Pizzeria. Ich fand es toll dass man sogar italienische Bier zur Auswahl hat. Das Essen war top sowie auch der Service.. Nur zu empfehlen. Macht weiter so.

We had the most beautiful dinner experience here, the lady who is from Cataluna, Spain, she served our table, she was warm and welcoming, she even went far and beyond giving us information for touristic places like zaanse schans, the food was delicious we had gnochis pesto that tasted like heaven. Fully recommend this place
