Today, after a friend recommended it, I got tiramissu and a rafaello roll. And because they were so incredibly delicious, I also got pasta tonight, something like ravioli with pear and spaghetti carbonara. It was so delicious! A very nice young woman behind the counter! I'm so glad I discovered this restaurant in our own village. My husband and I will be eating there soon too. Looking forward to it already!

The food at Damiano is always excellent. Reservations are required. The restaurant closes at 10 p.m., which is a shame. It's impossible to linger at the table for a while.

We licked our fingers clean, it was so good! It was our first time and definitely not our last! Delicious! After having spezzatino 35 times, we still believe we've never had anything this delicious! Fantastic!

A really nice place to eat. The two of us went here for dinner and we really enjoyed it. The service was excellent. We were greeted politely upon arrival and given a table (or rather, we could choose). We hadn't made a reservation, and even on a Tuesday evening, a fair number of them were. We arrived on time, as all the unreserved tables were full before long. So, making a reservation is a good idea, even during the week. The staff was very polite and cleared everything away neatly, neither too quickly nor too long. We asked for extra drinks, were given more time when we didn't know what to expect, and everything was done properly. For example, Fenk's cutlery was neatly arranged, and the first person to sit down was the first to be asked for a drink. The pizza that didn't arrive was also neatly boxed up for us to take home. A bit of an unnecessary luxury for us, but it's clear that the staff here are hired with high standards. The food was delicious. We started with a combination plate of mushrooms in sauce, bread, tomatoes, and onion. It was delicious, even though I'm not normally a mushroom fan. The main courses were also very good. We had two pizzas we weren't familiar with. For dessert, we had tiramisu and a selection from the display, which offered more desserts than what's on the menu. Even though we were incredibly full, we still enjoyed it. The pizza with burrata is definitely recommended! The restaurant is quite small, but neatly decorated and clean. It's modern and well-maintained. Comfortable chairs with wider seats and no interference from the bar, kitchen, or takeaway area, which are openly connected. You can easily talk and hear each other. There aren't many tables, so keep that in mind. All in all, a very pleasant experience for us. Good service, a nice restaurant, and very tasty food. It was a bit more expensive for us, but at around €35 ​​per person for a shared starter, two pizzas, four drinks, and a dessert, it's certainly not bad. Plus, we got some chocolates at checkout. We would absolutely recommend it. Make sure to make a reservation if you want to be sure of a spot.

The food is always 5 stars. Lately, the service and atmosphere seem to have declined somewhat. The last time was a bit disappointing. We were seated outside, tucked away in a corner. The table wasn't cleared, and we weren't asked if we wanted dessert, for example. It's a shame. Hopefully, this was a one-off, because we're not used to this at all.

Number of times I wanted to have dinner around 8pm. Wasn't possible because the kitchen would already be closed, while the restaurant closes at 10:00 PM. It seems as if a specific target group of people are “allowed” into the restaurant.

A restaurant with very delicious Italian food, we tried 2 types of pizzas, a casserole with three types of lasagna pasta, cannelloni and tortolinis and finally a Tagliatele al grouper I highly recommend coming, the service was great and the food just arrived on the table in time. Since we discovered Damiano, we rarely order anywhere else. Today there was a misunderstanding with ordering, which afterwards was not Damiano's fault. But we still got the pizza we actually wanted as a courtesy. That's what they call "good service"!

Starters, pastas, pizzas, I prefer to order everything here... The food is so tasty! 😍 In addition to the great food, the service is top notch and the atmosphere is so nice. Wij kennen damiano al 22 jaar maar de laatste tijd gaat hij hard achteruit. De pizza’s zijn slap en het olie drijft er vanaf. Het voorgerecht was diverse vis uit de oven, de inktvis ringen waren taai en het gerecht stonk naar vis en vis hoort niet te stinken. Erg jammer allemaal ik hoop van harte dat ze hier wat mee gaan doen

I think Damiano's pizza Carpaccio with extra capers and extra piccante (oil with pepper in it) is the tastiest pizza in the Netherlands, divine! Maritera always ensures that you lack nothing, dining chairs are super comfortable

The food was fine. Service was friendly. We ate pizza, but a pizza arrived in the kitchen 10 minutes later for some reason. Unfortunately, a waitress spilled Coke all over my wife's sweater. That can happen, but it was dismissed quite simply with sorry. A cup of coffee at the company's expense would have done a lot of good.

Heerlijke lunch genoten, prima bediening in een fijne entourage, klein en sfeervol.

Voor een feestje een buffet laten verzorgen. Het smaakte fantastisch en de service was top.

Hoe lekker de lunch broodjes hoe vies en dat vind ik erg vervelend om aan te geven omdat de lunch geweldig is. De pizza was zo zacht en zat geen smaak aan. Extra kaas en gorganzola gevraagd en nog geen smaak. Wat een goede reactie en helemaal gelijk de extra kaas was overigens niet op de kazen pizza maar op de picante.

De service en sfeer is altijd uitstekend en het eten is heerlijk. Constante kwaliteit wat heel belangrijk is.

Heerlijk gegeten bij Damiano. Mijn vrouw had kalfsvlees met tomatensaus, Heerlijk. Ikzelf had gesneden biefstuk met gorgonzola champignonsaus, heel lekker. De deserts, een bol ijs omgeven met truffelchokolade en cannoli Siciliane waren echte afmakers. Prima restaurant!!

Een misverstand over de afgeleverde bestelling, maar naar later bleek onze schuld, werd door de eigenaar super opgepakt. Hij wilde bovendien niet weten van een extra betaling door ons. De gerechten waren ook heerlijk! Complimenten, in het bijzonder voor de coulante en begripvolle reactie!

Ik heb hier vorige week voor het eerst gegeten. We zaten lekker in de sfeervolle binnentuin en hebben heerlijk gegeten. De bediening was erg snel en vriendelijk. Vooral de mevrouw vond ik erg aardig.

En als een keer 1/100 je een verkeerde bestelling heb dan lossen ze dit per direct op! Ik had binnen 7 minute een nieuwe pizza en mocht de oude houden! Dat noem ik klant vriendelijk en ze verdienen hun naam als een echte Italiaanse pizzaria 💯 Ik bewerk deze review nu met een update (2 jaar later) mijn mening dreigde te veranderen, in een tijdje geleden hadden ze ineens kleine pizzas die wel lekker waren maar klein. Daarvoor hadden ze wel groten pizzas maar met een andere doos en deze smaakte totaal anders niet meer zoals eerst! Misde de oude pizzas dus enorm en ik denk ook meerdere wel! Echter vandaag nog eens besteld en wat zie ik de oude pizza doos is weer terug (hoera!) En ja zeker is de pizza ook weer even lekker!! What ever julie doen dit is hoe de pizza het aller lekkerste was van heel zaanstreek! (By far)

Super service! We wilden pizza laten bezorgen maar hadden per ongeluk een afhaalbestelling gedaan. Toen de pizza's na een half uur nog niet afgehaald waren werden we opgebeld. Nadat we de vergissing gevonden hadden werden de pizza's alsnog bezorgd. Ze waren zo vers en goed heet dat het niet anders kan dan dat ze nieuwe pizza's voor ons gemaakt hadden. Bedankt Damiano, het smaakte weer uitstekend!

Top service en prettig personeel. Er was iets mis gegaan met onze bestelling. Even gebeld en het werd gelijk opgelost. Daarnaast zijn de pizza's ook gewoon erg lekker. Bedankt!

Deze pizza was zo ongelofelijk lekker, hebben samen echt zitten smullen. Twijfelde heel erg, maar het was het dubbel en dwars waard!!!

Op locatie en online staat dat Damiano op donderdagavond tot 22.30 is geopend. Wij waren echter om 8.50 al niet meer welkom. Over het eten kunnen wij dus helaas niets positiefs of negatiefs zeggen. Gelukkig werden we wel gastvrij ontvangen bij de buren, La Forchetta. Dit restaurant is echt aanrader, zowel wat betreft het eten als de bediening.

Wij hadden een catering besteld voor 25 personen met voorgerechten en een hoofdgerecht. Echt alles werd keurig thuis bezorgd met warmhouders en koelhouder voor de koude gerechten. Het eten was van sterren kwaliteit echt iedereen heeft mij gecompliceerd over de keuze van het heerlijke Italiaanse eten!! De volgende ochtend werd alles weer opgehaald en we hoefden niet alles zelf af te wassen, voor een kleine vergoeding doet het Restaurant dit. Fam Gaarenstroom
