Nice prices, not expensive and tasty, I chose what I liked and made coffee myself, everything was calm and without unnecessary words🥰 I sat inside while drinking my latte, there was nice calm music playing and I noticed that there was a high chair for children, which is very comfortable when you come with small children

A nice spot for lunch. Oddly enough, there's no plate to put your sandwich on. The smoothies also said "mango coconut," but after the first sip, it was clear it was a banana shake. (Imagine not liking bananas...) I also had a cinnamon roll, but it was a bit dry.

I used to love coming here for a sandwich during my lunch break with colleagues. But the last time was truly the last time for me. If you come here for lunch and your favorite sandwich is gone, the staff won't even bother to make you one. A sandwich with less than three ingredients. It wasn't busy, just after 1 p.m., and the staff immediately shakes their heads and looks down at you as soon as you ask a question. Poor service. We'll never be back!

I had the most disgusting experience with this outlet via the Too Good to Go app. So the staff was taking the first sandwich for me without tongs. Then her fingers got sticky and she licked them. After licking them, she proceeded to take another sandwich for me!!!!!🤮🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤮🤮🤮 Why can’t tongs be provided to touch cooked food? It left me very nauseous and needless to say, I threw everything away

Very good, freshly made sandwiches at affordable prices. Drinks are also available. There's a restroom on site. Friendly service. I recommend it.

There were hardly any baked goods on display and the staff were busy with their mobile phones.

Nowadays, only one slice of cheese on the multigrain roll instead of two.

The sandwich is so delicious! 🤤 The smoothie is also tasty although a bit expensive 😛 Leiden is serene, not too much bothered by tourists, so the store is also cozy and quiet. It’s a good choice to spend the afternoon here!

The bagel with salmon was tough and didn't really taste fresh. The baguette with caprese was also tough and not particularly tasty. The spinach feta roll was ice cold and dry (not fresh) and the cinnamon roll was probably from the day before (very chewy). Our visit was a one-off.

Het hanteren van 10 cent toeslag op een bak koffie irriteert me mateloos. Reden voor mij om hier niet terug te keren. Ik wilde de koffie niet meer maar moest em toch kopen.

After a period with an owner who made a mess of things, a new owner came in on February 1, 2024, who has managed things well again. Visibly cleaner and better cared for and open again according to schedule and the display case filled again. Will now return regularly again. I'm a real fan of the Backwerk branches where you can get a tasty sandwich and coffee/cappuccino at an affordable price. This branch is doing well. Come there regularly. just a few more brown rolls could be put in the display case.

I have now stood in front of a closed store 3 different times, while it says on the door and here on Google that they are open. Then I've wasted another 5 minutes of my lunch break. Thanks!

Location Backwerk at Leiden station. At 6:00 in the morning I order hot water in my own cup. The employee (grumpy lady of ~50) wants me to pay for a tea; fine. When I put down the exact change, this employee says "Debit card only", after which she immediately throws the hot water out of my cup and goes to help the next customer. Downright rude and customer service is lacking. I have just come from France where I was given free tea and hot water twice. "Just from us, enjoy your day!"

Saturday October 21. Papers everywhere with DEFECT. So no chilled drinks. Barely anything edible in the display case a quarter full. Dirty tables and the waste bin was overflowing.

Lovely self-service coffee machines. Good coffee taste, not bitter. Good choice of sandwiches, can order customised sandwiches. Pastries more scanty. Has --finally-- reopened this May 23, 2023. The Wi-Fi functions again! ouf! It's the least of things.

Ik kom regelmatig voor een flat Bread kip. Volgens die openings tijden zou je altijd open moeten zijn voordat ik naar werk ga. Helaas is het vandaag niet voor de eerste keer dat ik voor een dichte deur sta. Ook op zondagen heb ik dit al meegemaakt terwijl er geadverteerd word dat iedere zondag open te zijn.

Broodje, koffie heerlijk maar, de deuren om naar toilet te gaan erg smerig de toilette zijn wel schoon!

sorry voor de 2 ster zonder uitleg. Normaal schijf ik een hele review. Teweinig tijd deze keer. Mijn broodje was ok. Maar de bagel van me vriendin was hard taai en uitgedroogd. Zalm smaakte ook niet lekker meer. Ik zei tegen der ga een nieuwe vragen maar dat drufte ze niet. Vond het jammer dat er ouder eten in de schappen lag. Hierdoor zullen we niet snel terugkomen. Misschien net als de hema een In en Out systeem. Waarbij de tijd wordt bijgehouden. Zodat je oude broodjes kan Verwijderen.

Ik wilde hier gaan werken met mijn laptop. Ik zag dat jullie stopcontacten hebben dus ik dacht ´topplek´. Ik bestelde wat te eten en drinken maar kwam er toen achter dat het 'wifi for quests' netwerk besloten was met een password. Personeel wist het ook niet. Ik moest helaas na mijn eten weer vertrekken naar Hema waar ze wel internet hebben. Zonder internet kan ik mijn werk niet doen. Jammer want het zou een prima werkplek kunnen zijn incl stopcontacten. Eten en drinken was trouwens wel top en personeel was aardig :)

In principe wel lekker, maar de prijs die je betaalt versus dat wat je krijgt is niet in balans. Op zijn zachts gezegd, lekkere, maar karige broodjes.

Goed adres voor verse sap en goede keuze aan broodjes. Simpele inrichting en meestal jeugdig publiek. Redelijke prijzen.

Eindelijk een zaak waar je een flinke bak koffie krijgt en heerlijke broodjes voor een goed prijs.

Verse jus heerlijk, donut zonder melk top, maar dan geen plek hebben om een baby te verschonen en als je het personeel vraagt schaapachtig uitgelachen te worden vind ik een beetje jammer...

Langzaam verovert deze (in Duitsland al zeer grote) zelfbedieningsketen gespecialiseerd in broodjes e.d. Nederland. In deze corona lockdown ideaal om een keer uit te testen. En ik moet zeggen dat de bagels vers en lekker ware. Zeker geen tegenvaller. En de prijzen zijn zeer acceptabel.
