BackWerk in Frankendael

I completely agree with the other review. The bagel was incredibly poorly topped and very dry. It's really not worth the money; I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

Bought a bagel here for a hungry friend (€6). Ridiculous how stingy it was for that price. Really the thinnest layer of cream cheese I have ever seen in my entire life. Also the bagel was old and dry; clearly a bagel from yesterday or the day before. If you love your loved ones (and yourself), then you should never buy anything here. You would be better off going to the AH2go across the street.

I am travelling again to Amsterdam and I had my breakfast again in my favourite coffee shop! When you need a super coffee and a nice smile, go to Backwerk Amstel, you will have a very good day! Fantastic people there! Thank you Kseniia and Jochum!! See you again tomorrow morning!!🤗🤗

It has been always a pleasure to have breakfast in Backwerk Amstel. They have very tasty sandwiches and a fantastic coffee, i believe the best in town. This is coming together with a beautiful smile from Kseniia and Seike. Every time I travel to Amsterdam, i visit this nice bakery. Thank you guys for all your products and congrats for the fantastic staff you have there. See you next time.

Quite pricey, but slightly fresher sandwiches than at AH

Gloria helped us in the best way possible. Praise this woman who made us leave the shop smiling. She checks in with all the customers how they're doing, she's upselling in the right way without it being pushy and she has the prettiest smile that made our day!

Bad service. I wanted to order a sandwich and she still had to make the sandwich, asked if she could do it without tomato and cucumber but that was not an option because according to the recipe. Do I have to throw away the tomato and cucumber myself? That would be a waste. Finally succeeded at the AH 2 Go
