Duration!! Paid €14 for a latte machiato and a cupcake. The latter was put in the microwave for some time, so it was warm but did not taste good. In addition, the service was not friendly. The nice seats are positive.

Despite the reviews, this was a good stop for lunch. The sandwiches were solid, the price was great, and the service was good. It's not gourmet, but what do you expect for €7 per sandwich?

My experience at this cafe was disappointing. Prices were high, and the service was unprofessional. I ordered three Americanos, a pistachio croissant, and a Nutella croissant for 27euros, asking for the croissants to be lightly warmed. Instead, they were overheated to the point where the fillings melted and became inedible. For the Americanos, I was only given two espressos, and when I pointed it out, the server simply added hot water to one. Overall, a careless attitude and poor service made this visit unsatisfactory.I will never recommended this. Wasted my money here.

Excellent iced coffee and eclairs! I returned several times during my stay. They also have a free bathroom and cozy nook to enjoy your treats.

Food okay but they still need to work on the service. Pretty unfriendly and disinterested. The tables were not cleared and wiped down! The customers had to point out several times that the spilled coffee was wiped up on the floor. Unfortunately that doesn't work at all!

Waffle with strawberries suddenly costs 12 euros instead of 5.50 + 2 for the strawberries as advertised. Supposedly "double" (was normal size) Just a tourist rip-off. The waffle was normally good but dry, we also had a raisin roll, which was warm and chewy (4 euros!)

The welcome is... meh. The choices are different, but way too sweet. We waited, we don't know why, before being served. We don't even know how much we paid!

Bakery Café is just an average place in Amsterdam to have some sweets and coffee while exploring the city. There is no table service, and you have to collect your order yourself. You are also charged on the spot, which does not reflect well with catering service management

Scammer, cheats you if you don't want to pay for a 14 euro pastry. Strongly advise against it.

Vriendelijk ontvangst bij binnenkomst. We zijn vriendelijk geholpen en heerlijk gegeten. Verse broodjes, goede koffie in goede kopjes. De inrichting is echt Amsterdams: een beetje verjaard en versleten. Maar dat zijn vaak de lekkerste zaken! Ik zeg: aanrader.

The chocolate covered waffle is amazing. The donuts and carefully curated sweet breakfast treats will blow your mind. After looking at all the other bakeries and donut shops nearby if you go to any of them you're going to miss out on the best one... this one.

Found this spot for a quick morning Americano and chocolate croissant and man was I not disappointed! Service with a smile and best warm chocolate croissant ever!

On ne connait pas les prix avant de payer. Payer 10€ pour une gaufre c'est totalement exagéré ! Les places assises ne sont pas confortables. Il n'y pas de toilettes ! Les employés ne sont pas très sympas... Wir kennen keine Preise, bevor man bezalht. 10 Euro für eine Waffel ist total unsinn! Die sitzenden Plätze sind überraupt nicht bequem. Keine Toiletten! Die Angestellter sind nicht freundlich... We do not know the prices before we pay. 10 euro for a waffle is exaggerate. The places were not cosy. No toilet ! In addition, people who work here were not very friendly.

GREAT SANDWICHES, STAFF and fresh orange juice :) I prefer the Parma, Mozzarella, Pesto ciabatta. (Everything Reasonably priced as well!) 👍

Wir haben hier zu zweit jeweils ein Sandwich und einen Cappuccino gekauft. Die Bedienung war super freundlich und unsere Bestellung war nach wenigen Minuten fertig. Das Sandwich war nichts besonderes aber wirklich lecker. Der Cappuccino genauso. Er wirkte alles frisch und gepflegt und die Preise waren echt in Ordnung für Amsterdam. Ich kann wirklich nichts Negatives berichten.
