The waffles were bad, stale, and tasteless. No price displayed. Two waffles for 25 euros... Given the price, we changed our minds and only ordered one.... And luckily we did, because they weren't good!

The cake is beautiful, but it is a scam. No price tag in the cake. But it costs me Euro 16.8, an extremely expensive price. The lady even didn't print the receipt for me after paid it. Now I understand why no persons in the shop, because thw sales lady is NOT honest. As a good tourist, I suggest the cake shop to give an honest training course to all its staff (but probably the sales lady is the boss herself). This type of sales behaviour cannot last longer.

Every Friday morning, we (a group of older ladies) enjoy a delicious cup of coffee or tea at Jongejans. The service is always very sweet and friendly. A wonderful selection of bread and pastries. We really enjoy ourselves at Jongejans!

Zuidplein 16Lady with the red hair is always rude. When you come into the store, she's always staring at her phone and acting as if the customer doesn't exist. You expect this behaviour from a teenager, lol. I'm surprised she still has a job considering all these reviews. When I asked the price of something while she was scanning literally one (1) product of mine, she violently took the card reader from the counter to cancel my order for some reason and then told me the price. She's also the type to speak English to you despite me being a native Dutch speaker... I think my skin color caught her off guard. Maar later wel klagen wanneer er constant Engels in Amsterdam wordt gesproken, pfff.
