Delicious sandwiches, friendly staff

Good things first: the sandwich was tasty, fairly priced and they offer pepperminth tea from full leaves placed in glass mugs, which looks cute. The service was friendly and asked if I wanted honey with tea. On the downside, I prefer eating my food from a plate, not directly from a tray! The outside tables were so small that could not fit trays for two people. I could not find any spoons and used a straw for stirring the honey. Food left fingers all sticky. Toilet ran out of toilet paper and I could have used a hanger to not put my handbag on the toilet floor. Last but not least, the wall next to the outdoor seats smelled of pee.

Very tasty sandwiches and other backwork

I went in for lunch but one look at the sandwiches and I didn't feel like having lunch anymore: most looked spoiled. The soup didn't even look fluid anymore. I left without ordering anything so I don't know what the service was like

The cappuccinos are undrinkable; there's only milk and not a single coffee bean in sight. A waste of money!

food is good and staff friendly, only the toilet is hell. 1 for men and 1 for women, that's fine, except when the ladies toilet doesn't even have a seat and you can't sit down, there's no toilet paper, you can't even flush in the men's toilet and when a door is opened you get crushed by the tap, sorry but general maintenance of the toilets is still the bare minimum

The food was really perfect! You pay a relatively normal price for super tasty food in a nice cafe. Everything was fine, except the toilets. They were sticky, cramped and not very fresh. So if you want to eat something here really recommended, but I will go to another toilet next time.

I walked in with my assistance dog, his vest on, and was told the dog wasn't allowed in. Then it was an assistance dog, and I said yes, I wanted to show my pass, but no, that's not necessary. 🤦🏻‍♀️ We wanted to use the restroom, and they said, "Are you a customer here?" We had just paid, we were just seated, and it wasn't busy. The ladies' restroom didn't have a toilet seat.

The food was mediocre, the bread was dry. The toilet was very dirty and there was no paper to dry your hands.

Terrible service. They unfortunately make the biggest problem about a small issue. The manager also did not seem to care one small bit.

I come for lunch regularly because I work in the city. Tasty soup and sandwiches. Today I just had to go to the toilet and was told to pay 50 cents when leaving. You have lost me as a customer.

As a family we always eat a sandwich here when we are in town. It is tasty and affordable. The coffee is also good. The design is above all practical and without much fuss.

The sandwich tasted good until I was halfway through my sandwich and discovered that there were 2 small black creatures on the sandwich. Passed this on to an employee. Also almost all tables were not clean. (crumbs, dirty smudges on the table, etc. etc.) Even though it was not very busy.

I was in your shop at 9.45 on a market day, with nice weather. A girl was making smoothies and a young man was busy with ovens. With me a number of other market visitors. There was nothing to eat on the shelves and when the young man approached me at 9.55 and I expressed my wish, he indicated that the - unfilled - sandwich would be ready at 10.40! I, and everyone else present, went to Bakker Bart, where the shop and terrace were full, standing and sitting. Such a shame!!!!! Your sandwiches are great, but a sandwich shop where there is nothing to eat until 10 o'clock??????

I have already had positive experiences in Zwolle. Now also tried it in Groningen. Also great. Funny I haven't seen them before. Tasty and informal

The staff was beyond disappointing. At the beginning I filled up two hot drinks from the coffee machine. For some reason one came out with a lot less coffee, so one cup was only half full. When I tried to point this out to the older cashier, he gasped loudly and seemed annoyed. Maybe it was the language barrier, but you should never openly show a customer that you are annoyed. When I heard the employee talking to the next customer, I wondered if he just had racist traits. Because he spoke to her in a completely different tone. When I then sat down with my mother at the table outside the bakery and my mother wanted to use the toilet, the employee and another person seriously accused her of not being a guest and that she was sitting outside at another cafe . Where do you get this suspicion when you can't even see where exactly it is? Then they boldly asked for a receipt. Are you crazy? She first had to show both of them where she was sitting outside with me and hold her coffee cup in front of them. I don't know if this is normal, but I've never experienced anything like this before. Will every customer there be suspected like this and open a discussion like this? A pity. Please reconsider.

The shop is part of a bakery chain. Delicious ☕️ and various sandwiches, hot dogs and fresh fruit. The 🍎 bags are a hit. The whole thing in a very good price-performance ratio.

Kom hier wel vaker, de snelheid en beperkte keuze maken het aantrekkelijk voor mij en meestal zijn de broodjes prima voor wat je er voor betaald. Vandaag aardbeien yoghurt ding en een broodje tomaat mozzarella pesto. Nog geen €10 maar.. Broodje was niet in orde, kon met m’n ogen dicht de smaak die ik onmisbaar herken niet terug vinden in deze slappe halfwarme zoute substantie. Maar ook de rest van de zaak was zouteloos te noemen, tafels werden niet schoon gemaakt en stoelen onaangeschoven. En dat terwijl het absoluut niet druk was (tel 12 gasten) Jammer….

My husband was in dire need and therefore went to the toilet while back at work (we are not from Groningen ourselves). After his visit he had a very unpleasant confrontation with an employee, asking whether he had bought anything otherwise he would not be allowed to use the toilet, my husband said sorry, didn't know, I will next time. To which this woman (dark hair, bob hairstyle) responded with: Next time I'll kick you out! Ridiculously normal and anything but customer friendly, my husband still bought a can of soda, if that was the problem of using a toilet, that's no problem for us! I find the lady downright rude. By the way, we are fans of the branch in Delft that we visit regularly.

Delicious food, ideal solution for people who don't want to wait too long for their food. Moreover, the price quality was not okay, the quality was much better than expected for such a low price :)

The coffee tea chocolate milk was lukewarm. Shame

They’ve increased the price, however the quality is much lower. They are not even making their own soup, the soup is from very cheap, ready made soup packages of supermarkets, but the price for each cup is almost €4! Their staff at the cashier are behaving rude and grumpy.

Ideal für den kleinen oder großen Hunger, dazu einen leckeren frisch gemachten Saft oder einfach nur ein Cappuccino mit einem Stück Kuchen. Der Laden ist nicht mit denen in Deutschland zu vergleichen hier ust alles sauber aufgeräumt und Day Personal ist sehr hilfsbereit

Preislich schon eher teuer, aber noch in Ordnung. Personal ist sehr freundlich. Jedoch sind die Toiletten das allerletzte. Es gibt insgesamt zwei Kabinen (eine pro Geschlecht), kein Toilettenpapier, Verunreinigungen und alles ist super eng.

Vieze tent, er wordt te slecht schoongemaakt. Sinds 1 juli 10 cent voor broodjes in die ter plaatse op eet is een soort bedrog als daarvoor geen verantwoording wordt afgelegd. De broodjes smaken wel, maar top is echt wel anders. Ik kan mij voorstellen dat de plaatselijk horeca hier chagrijnig van raakt, omdat ze onder de prijs zitten.

Koffie gedronken met wat lekkers dit was goed, maar geen schone trays in de winkel Tafels vies en op de grond nooit weer een bezoek hier Niet hygiënisch!

Lekker eten, de wifi is prima en toiletten altijd super schoon. Probeer de togoodtogo box, die is super!!

Prima broodjes, je kan er leuk zitten. Wel jammer dat het broodje van mijn zoon niet even in de oven mocht. Dat was het 5 sterren geweest. Ik had er best een beetje extra voor willen betalen....

BackWerk is always A good choice. I enjoyed the variety of sandwiches they have and the fresh juices they offer. The place is big and there is a ton of settings. I really recommend this place to grab a quick bites or to have a health lunch!

They have nice selection but DO NOT accept credit or debit cards !!! Yes. I double checked and asked but they don’t accept Visa or MC
