Highly recommended for everyone, food good, service perfect, first time visiting and certainly not the last time.

A great little bar in a central location. Cozy atmosphere with a solid selection of beers and cocktails, plus some interesting bar snacks. We tried the loaded truffle and parmigiana fries, which were very good. Service was excellent. The only downside: the staircase to the toilets is extremely steep and could be risky if you’ve had a few drinks.

The drinks are fine, but the nachos are terrible. And they are priced absurdly for what you get. Do something about this!!

Extremely rude and patronizing staff I went in with an adult friend who didn't have their ID on her. The staff refused to serve them alcohol which I completely understood and had no problem wit, ordered a beer for myself When I went to order a second beer, the staff repeatedly interrogated me, asking if it was definitely for me. After I confirmed it, the manager came over and started lecturing me, threatening to throw us out if he saw my friend taking a sip. Even after I said Ok to that she refused to drop it and kept standing right over me patronizing me Very rude behavior. I understand sticking to rules but harassing paying customers who have done nothing wrong is unacceptable. Absolutely terrible service

Very nice stylish pub, ive really enjoyed the vibe, all the girls at the bar were kind and friendly, good beers and good comfort food. They made a small mistake with the nachos i ordered, they brought me fries instead, but my bad for not saying anything, the girl brought to me the right dish as soon as she realized!! Thank you dear!

Nice place with prices you don't have to go out of your way for Whereas the Netherlands is often expensive for us, this really isn't excessive and the portions are quite good Visit the toilet might be a bit nerve-wracking but not impossible Definitely recommended and we will be coming back

Great little bar that is really good for anyone wanting something not unlike a British pub type beer place in Utrecht. Good range of beers, food too, the toilet arrangement makes it technically LGBTQ+ friendly as well if that's something people want ☺

To order two coffees, you have to use a QR code, pay, and then wait 30 minutes only to be told they don't have your order. After reading your receipt, you finally get your coffee... 10 minutes later ☹️ I do not recommend this place!

Nice selection of craft beers, very kind service! The lemonade was nice and sour - not too sweet.

For sure a nice place to get a drink! However, fairly crowded and the dating app "Breeze" put me and my date here for our first date and I really wouldn't say that this is a nice and cozy first date place haha^^ Way more of a rustic, go with your mates and have a couple of drinks kind of place. Which again, is what this bar most likely excels at. Didn't have any food here. So I cannot comment on that. Service was quick and attentive.

We were in a small group, but were completely ignored by the staff. After more than 20 minutes, we got up and left. When half the group was already outside, we were approached in English. "Do you want something to drink?"

Went there on Saturday and had a great time. The fries were delicious. The service was good. And the DJ was awesome!

Went in yesterday for a drink and some food. Nice place, cozy decor. Only the service was a bit lacking. We pointed out to the staff (who only had eyes for two colleagues/acquaintances) that the beer was too carbonated. She walked away, no follow-up. We also wanted something to eat, but we were so ignored that we just paid right away. Too bad!!! Maybe next time we'll do better.

Atmosphere really good, italian journal about football very cool and appreciate it. The spanish waiters were really unprofessional and rude. She ask us to go inside and then 5 seconds later she literally ask again to move inside in a really rude way.

There's 8 people in the house. Do you let them chat and have some drinks? No, you apparently turn up the music to make conversation more difficult. Guests still not leaving? Triple salt the fries, see if that helps

Great spot, but the toilet paper is really bad...

We ordered drinks and lunch. Drinks arrived, but the food didn't. We waited for 45 minutes. Fed up, we went inside to pay for our drinks and asked where our food had gone. They gave very vague answers, claiming they didn't know. Not even an apology. We'll never see them again. This happened on Tuesday, August 26th.

I had a kinda shitty experience here recently after a bunch of good ones historically. I wanted to get the pot pie for dinner and the waitress had asked if I wanted the normal one not the veggie one but looked a bit put out when I said yes. When it came it was an unfortunate lentil pie. I don't mind eating veggie at all but this was bland and seasoned badly. I think the menu used to be much better with sliders, nice sauces/relishes and attention paid to the food. Drinks are still good, atmosphere too but please prioritise your food menu again!

Old but gold, great Cafe to have a short or long stop.

I left here furious. I took 45 minutes to make a sandwich, which, when it arrived was chicken from a packet, with sliced egg plant & plastic cheese on it. They charge €12.50 for this!! What a joke. Total waste of my time.

We came by here on kingsnight and asked to use the toilet. They charged us 7,50 per person! I would never complain to pay a small amount for the toilet usage but 7,50 is just insane. When we had paid and went inside, there was a guy in front of the toilet asking for another 2€ (and also a sign which said: toilet 2€). We could convince the guy inside that we already paid 7,50 pP outside so at least didn't have to pay another time, but one must wonder what the extra 5,50 where for and where those went...? It honestly just felt like they took advantage of the situation that it was a crowded place with long lines at the public toilets, especially for girls.

Price performance of the sandwiches was catastrophic. Simple toast and only a few toppings, it really didn't taste good, but the fries that were served as a side dish were very tasty, so I could imagine that the loaded fries could be good.

A very trendy place, the vibes are extraordinary and the drinks amazing! Definitely worth going but make sure you have a reservation or come a bit early because it's a popular place!

Here you can have a nice lunch and a cup of coffee on a quiet day, but here you can also enjoy a nice meal at the weekend with many different options and also different options to have a beer or something else, I would call in advance to see if they have room because it is a beautiful place to be right under the Utrecht cathedral.

Cute service from the young girls working there but the food isn’t anything special and a bit overpriced for what it is. If you’re looking to eat id suggest somewhere else

The atmosphere is great but the staff… I arrived in the afternoon with 2 other friends of mine. The service was fine then. Then I went for a second round. We were asked for our IDs again, I explained that I had ordered from a colleague before, but she didn't care. Then I walked back inside after getting the ID cards, then I walked to the lady where I had ordered earlier and then the second lady said "oh sorry I didn't know you had already ordered" seriously? Then we stood for a while chatting with friends of ours who we met on the outside of the terrace against the flower pots. Then a gentleman arrived and said that we had to be quiet because we were making a lot of "noise", then another lady arrived again 2 minutes later and said that we had never ordered anything here and were not allowed to take the glass of beer with us. Excuse me???? I ordered this from her 10 minutes ago and it was taken away. I think this is a really bizarre experience. I have been to badabing several times but I have never experienced this. I hope this will be better in the future, it is truly bizarre that this still occurs in 2025!!

We only stopped in for a drink and ended up staying for the rest of the afternoon. Fantastic vibe, great food, and the amazing woman behind the bar was the highlight of our trip to Utrecht. Thank you for being so knowledgeable, lovely to talk to, and for helping us find the perfect beer. Highly recommend! Can’t wait to come back.

Nice place for a good selection of beers. Staff is super friendly. But the music is really loud and sound system is pointed straight down towards the tables.

There is a nice atmosphere in this cafe. It is nicely decorated and also has a beautiful terrace. Different types of beers on tap and also in bottles. Not very special, so unfortunately I was not able to add an extra check-in on Untappd. Also great for a quick bite to eat or a drink here. Loaded Fries are highly recommended here.

Tasty beers, although yesterday the IPA on tap had already run out, I got a great alternative from a can. The atmosphere is unique.

Because of the cozy atmosphere and appearance, we thought we would have a bite to eat at Badabing. Once we had chosen a table, we did not necessarily feel welcome. Eye contact was difficult to obtain, the veggie share dinner was not as expected (very little and no taste). In addition, we were not given a napkin or cutlery and there was no eye contact to ask for this. The staff was mainly busy with each other and on the telephone. We were also not asked if everything was OK or if we wanted a second round of drinks. That's why we eventually walked to the bar to pay and to our surprise our table was immediately cleared and cleaned. All in all, we expected more and I do not recommend it.

You can enjoy delicious food here. My daughter had a ham cheese sandwich (The old Skool Deluxe). You get popcorn with it, which is really nice. And I have a tuna sandwich (The Tune One). I had a Badablond beer myself and it was very tasty (highly recommended). We would love to come back here again.

We thought it was a super fun place to go, always our go-to. not anymore. The bartender gave us an extra shot and after we paid for it (without being aware of it), he could no longer be reached. Shame. We had a great time, but apparently making a profit is more important than a customer's experience

Been to Badabing a few times, outside very cozy and almost Mediterranean decorated with cheerful colors. Within a completely different atmosphere; A truly British pub with mostly British-speaking service. They serve real fish & chips (without newspaper as is traditionally the case in Great Britain), many other tasty snacks and, above all, delicious Belgian beer. Great to get there and outside, often covered with large parasols and heated on cold evenings.

An indoor and outdoor food and drink venue located next to the Dome Tower. Do not get bored with the large number of people and movement around you.

Relaxed on the terrace with a beautiful view of the cathedral tower. The place is nicely decorated with plates. Nachos were a pathetic exhibition. Small portion of nacho chips with some sauce on top for €8.75! I would just get something to eat somewhere else.

I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!!!!!!!!!! Waiters were so kind and sweet, atmosphere had a really nice feeling, outdoors was great and indoors too looked super awesome. Food was also really tasty and flavorful and I loved the fries sauce . Delicious and fresh,!

Badabing in Utrecht is a fantastic spot for a night out! The atmosphere is lively, with great music and friendly staff. The drinks are reasonably priced, and the cocktails are delicious. Highly recommended for a fun and memorable evening!

Coffee was cold, apple pie took forever before we got it and so the coffee was gone. And the toilet was too dirty.

Had a very positive experience! Nice service, English girl and a Dutch boy. We were helped quickly and the food arrived quickly! Super cozy atmosphere and the food was also very tasty! It was quiet when we were there. Also many vegetarian options! I am vegetarian and my friend is not and there were tasty choices for both.

We came here for a small drink. There was plenty of room on Sunday afternoon. Orders could be placed via a QR code where payment had to be made immediately. Bababing's blond beer is not recommended. It is a bit watery and lacks the taste of a blond beer for me. The chicken popcorn, on the other hand, is tasty! The outdoor seating areas seem to consist of randomly collected pieces. That makes it a bit messy.

After an impersonal order via a QR code, we received our beers and the foam head died within a minute. After asking twice where our snacks (chips) were, we received 2 bags of chips (from Makro?!?). Really dramatic.
