Swift service. Takeout only. Genuine Thai cuisine, albeit pricey for takeout. Still bang for buck, though.

Gotten takeout twice so far from BaiYok Thais voor Thuis and have to say it doesn't disappoint. First time was for one person and I just craved some noodles (Pad Thai) and a Tom Ka Kai. Walked in, placed my order and walked out within 20min. That specific Pad Thai tasted amazing. They pack their to-go food like every shop should do it, which keeps it beautifully warm even after a 30min drive. The atmosphere, the efficiency and the customer service is surprisingly well for a take-away establishment. The second time was for multiple people and we ordered two noodle dishes, a number 42 and a soup. This time the noodles tasted differently and a little less 'wow' but still of great quality. Quality like you'll probably won't find easily in The Netherlands. I am happy with both my experiences and would definitely recommend ordering take-out from here!

I got four kinds of soup at Bayok. It was a bit disappointing. The soup base is the same, with ingredients added separately. It's a decent amount of soup per serving, and it's definitely heart-warming. As a foodie, I was hoping for more flavor, vegetables, and additions.

Excellent authentic Thai restaurant with freshly prepared ingredients , foods and good service. The taste and flavors were authentic and lots of vegetarian options. The owner lady is highly personal and checks with each guest how the food was. This is a great added touch.

Regular takeout. Always delicious. But unfortunately, this time it was a real disappointment with the fresh produce. Number 141 beef wasn't what I'm used to when I eat regular takeout. A nasty aftertaste. Too bad, because €12.50 ended up in the bin.

Delicious dishes and good service. Catering various fish/meat/vegetarian for garden party was delivered on time and picked up the next day. Worth repeating. I can highly recommend Baiyok for home to everyone. You won't regret it. Do it!

The portions are just right and the staff can tell you exactly what the ingredients are.

The Winter Menu was tasty, but for this price we expected better. We are always fans of Thai fried rice, but BaiYok's was unfortunately barely colored white rice. We did get enough food for two days. The atmosphere was good because of the nice bar in the middle.

Sometimes… you long for that one lady who made the best Pad Thai in the world on the beach. At least that's what you thought at the time... BaiYok manages to make delicious dishes from the beautiful city center of Zwolle that make you feel like you're back in the Thai sun, but at your own kitchen table with an ice-cold Singha in your hand. Let's go!

Always good, we always take the spicy menu for 2, always right on time and definitely worth driving half an hour for if we are around Zwolle around dinner time, you are stuck with a certain time, call on time

Food is tasty but relatively expensive. I'm not a big eater, but I always don't have enough of the dish and I don't always like the atmosphere / approach at the takeaway location.

Best food in Zwolle and surrounding areas

Came from far away to bring 8 dinner sets. At checkout I specifically asked for extra chili sauce. Upon arrival it turned out that we received 2 cups of onions. Deeply disappointed, that is the essential seasoning for us. Shame!

We had catering from BaiYok. It's nice that they offer that option, they have good service, it's tasty and varied so that everyone likes it (fish, meat, vegetarian + salads). The owner is friendly but was in a hurry to bring the warming containers, so I now unfortunately have a scratch on my kitchen. Can happen.

Picked up and delicious as always, not cheap and not too large portions but great flavors.

Picked up monthly menu A, very disappointed. We have been to Thailand many times, in all regions of this wonderful country, and we love many Thai dishes and know the different flavors. But these were not Thai flavors at all. That's okay in itself and if you get this food as a surprise from a Chinese in the Netherlands then you'll be happy, but it has NOTHING (!) to do with Thailand. And that's why we were very disappointed, because we didn't have to drive all the way here for a few cups of Chinese. Did this owner used to have a Chinese Indian restaurant? The Kaeng pha naeng nua - very 'Indonesian' in terms of taste and smell, it was almost peanut sauce. The Phad king kai tasted very Chinese, including the tasteless violent mushrooms that you only see in Chinese cuisine and that I have never been able to discover in Thailand. Finally, an uninteresting Yam chow wang salad with some fish sauce as a dressing to make it Thai. The rice was fine 😉. The containers in which it was packaged, on the other hand, were bad, unusable if you have leftover food (quite a lot in our case). Maybe book a study trip to Thailand for the chef?

Always the same quality when picked up.

The takeaway section looks fine, not very cozy, just decent. You can also look into the kitchen.

No. 28, red curry with chicken. the taste is very good. Unfortunately there was too much sugar in it, even though I didn't order it sweet.

€40 worth of food and didn't get a lime wedge (fried rice is a must...) Then the fried rice, 21 euros for 5 shrimps while fried rice itself is 5.75. €15.25 extra doesn't make sense, does it? It was quite tasty, but nothing close to real fried rice. Choe chie pla was tasty and also a reasonable price at €19. All in all, not worth the money, for €40 you can have a better meal elsewhere with 2 people.

For pick-up only. Very tasty but a bit pricey considering the size of the portions.

Not an original Thai red curry, really a disappointment, expensive price, small portions, totally overrated with many star reviews. Dessert was tasty, great service.

The food is really nice. I got chicken panang + garlic beef. My boyfriend got basil dish. Both are really nice. The taste is definitely like in Thailand but just not that spicy. Rice is perfectly cooked.

For the first time I went to Bai Yok for a takeaway. I ordered on line with a pick a time that suited me. The service was swift and friendly. My order was ready on time and was very delicious. I will be definitely going back.

Delicious food, service is great! We had an allergy and we were properly called and informed about this. The food is fantastic, especially the tenderloin dishes are fantastic. In my opinion, the peppers are used quite sparingly, but you may also be able to order Thai spicy.

We have been living in Zwolle for just 4 weeks and have already picked up food from here 3 times. Because what fantastic food! 100% next level Thai takeaway! Whether you go for a curry, a pad thai, spring rolls, satays or one of the fresh salads... everything we have tasted so far has been very tasty, completely balanced in terms of flavors and the food is super fresh. And in terms of offering: in addition to the classics, they also have plenty of lesser-known dishes to choose from. They also have various fixed and changing menus on offer. What's also great is that you can buy chilled (but fresh?), ready-made single meals here. This really leaves you wanting more! And we will definitely visit their restaurant a little further away!

Unfortunately not what I am used to and expect when ordered at BaiYok this evening. My Kaeng pha Naeng Ka was far from being even OK. The chicken was very dry and curry not spicy, more sweet. Not tasty at all.

Ok, not cheap. But really delicious! Never disappoints, you know you are having a delicious meal when you order here. At least we do.

I always miss vegetables in my meals. Lots of rice but little vegetables. And almost €6 for a bowl of salad?? Oh yes, when customers come in and there are 5 staff members, it is nice to welcome customers. Recently, a couple with their Thai Food Truck has been in the Aa Landen every Saturday. Super nice people (she's Thai, he's Dutch) but her dishes, wow! The flavors, the amount of vegetables and then her soups. You have to wait a while because she is cooking alone, but then you have something. Sorry BaiYok, but I'll trade you for this Thai.

Best Thai in Zwolle and surrounding areas

I was on my own and accidentally ordered a menu for two people. But so happy about it! THREE DAYS OF FAST!

When I don't feel like cooking but I do want a delicious Thai dish, I always go to BaiYok. Here you get such delicious curries that will make you lick the packaging. Every time I try to go for something different, but the menu B of the month (Phad phed kai**, Nua phad krathiem prik Thai & Yam chow wang) remains a favorite. And then a delicious Tom Kha Kai soup as an appetizer! You do pay a little, but every now and then you should treat yourself to a culinary delight at home.

Picked up food for the first time today. It already smelled nice on location. Well packaged and still warm upon arrival in Dronten. What taste sensations. I am a fan. We will definitely visit again next time we are in Zwolle. Recommended.

Favorite Thai restaurant in the area. The daily fresh ready-made dishes are really enjoyable and ideal to take with you from work and eat at home. Because it is fresh, it tastes as if it has just been freshly prepared after heating. The price and quality ratio is good. I would recommend Baiyok at home for anyone wanting to get acquainted with Thai cuisine.

Delicious food with great taste! We get takeaway here every week with colleagues and we really like it! However, the recent price increase on various dishes is too much of a good thing. The takeaway will now become more of a monthly thing or try something somewhere else that is still in proportion to price and quality.

Always delicious food whatever you choose. Menu A or Menu B of the month. Our children call it the lollipop bar because they always get a lollipop with it.

Truly one of the very best restaurants in Zwolle. The advantage is that you can pick up and enjoy the fantastic and super fresh dishes at home. Picked up a number of dishes again last Thursday. One thing did bother me. While I was waiting outside, one of the chefs was smoking outside with his gloves on. Then simply go back inside without putting on new gloves. I don't think it's very hygienic and neat. This can be better BaiYok!

Deliciously delicious Thai food! Certainly one of the very best in the Netherlands.

After a long day of walking in Zwolle, we arrived at our hotel room and looked for a takeaway meal. By chance we walked past BaiYok and what a delicious meal we had! Wonderfully fresh and generous quantities. My friend who can be very critical of Asian food also really enjoyed it. The lady who helped us in was very sweet and they even warmed up an extra dish for us because we did not have the option to do so in our hotel room. If we lived in Zwolle we would definitely get food here more often.

It is tempting to pick up here very often. Always tasty, and something for everyone to try.

Normally we would have made a reservation across the street. Now we have placed an order to enjoy at home. At the agreed time, the entire order was waiting for us, warm and packed. In and out within 5 minutes. When we got home, a meal awaited us as promised and actually just as tasty as in the restaurant. Decorate the table yourself and enjoy! Recommended!
