The food was okay, I would recommend the Navajo eggs because the bbq pulled pork was tasty. However, I wouldn’t recommend the pancakes, they were too dry. The service was very very slow. If you want to go there, make sure to book a table before attending.

The veggie brekki was very delicious and a good amount of food. The waiter are kind and it's a nice place to be for a good breakfast.

We came across "Bakers and Roasters" by chance in Amsterdam and came back several times. I found the vege breakfast with poached eggs very unique - the chili jam just added to the whole thing. The mushroom sauce was super creamy and didn't overpower the other flavors (avocado, potatoes, egg, bread, halloumi), but complemented them perfectly. It's definitely something for foodies who like to eat healthy, organic food and are still looking for something you can't easily recreate at home. The Eggs Florentine are also highly recommended, a little "simpler" than the vege breakfast. The pancakes are also good, but I was personally more impressed by the savory dishes, which is probably a matter of taste. Definitely worth a visit in Amsterdam if you're looking for a wholesome, super tasty breakfast/brunch ☺️✨🌱

Great food and very good service

I’m absolutely disgusted by this place for its service and the hygiene. The waiter we got was so rude bumping into chairs, dropping glasses and cups. I ordered B&R special and asked to swap the bacon with salmon, he simply said “no” and no other proposals, I would be fine with paying for extra salmon. My friend asked to have no cheese in her order and the waiter asked “is this an allergy or preference?” Like why would it matter? No cheese is no cheese. Fine, we are still gonna eat there obviously. When we got the food and drinks, the waiter and waitress there just carelessly put them on our table, like are you mad at us? What’s worst, is that my friend found a hair in her food, and when she went to the toilet, she saw that exact waiter coming out of the toilet without washing his hands. I personally am never coming back to this palce again and best of luck to anyone that comes here hoping for a nice brunch experience.

One of the best breakfast and brunch places I have ever been in Amsterdam!! Delicious breakfast, Nick's service was excellent, and the whole atmosphere is just amazing. Make sure to pre-book through their website or google before going there as it gets pretty crowded. NOTE: Order the pancakes, thank me later.

We were quite lucky, because we visited this place in the morning without booking any table. Fortunately, they were able to make a table for two persons. There was a queue 5 minutes later, and people had to wait for the free tables. Worse to book a table in advance. The quality of the breakfast was very good. It was very taste. What I didn't like was that the tables were too close to each other and my feeling was that we were eating breakfast together with a stranger couple. I like more privacy.

Good service, but honestly over rated on social media and a tad overpriced. Still a good option if you're in the area but you can get something just as good for a lot less.

We said we don’t have a reservation, so they put us in the line, and 20min later told us that everything is booked out and that we can come another day.

I keep coming back for the food. The chocolate cake is incredible and the eggs Benedict is my favorite in Amsterdam. The hollandaise sauce is exactly how I like it. The portions are a good size for Amsterdam. It can feel a little crowded inside and sometimes service can be slow when it’s busy, but the food is so good it’s definitely worth a visit!

Gran café, jugo delicioso. Incluso sirven cócteles aunque pasé en esta ocasión. ¡Estos tipos lo han hecho bien! ¡5 estrellas!

Oh my god the food here is absolutely amazing! We didn't have a reservation but the host told us that we just had to scan the QR code outside to get on the wait list. Super easy to do. We went around the corner to have a coffee while we waited and then came back for our table. So glad we decided to wait because this place is to die for! Amazing New Zealand, Brazilian fusion. Breakfast, brunch deliciousness! Eszta was a diamond from start to finish. Couldn't have been more happy with our experience, will definitely be back again!

El ambiente y la decoración de este lugar es encantador, pero ahí es donde terminan los aspectos positivos. El personal es poco atento y no parece molestado. Nosotros y otros comensales vimos con asombro y frustración cómo pasaban repetidamente junto a comida en platos, listos para llevar, pero se fueron a sentar bajo las lámparas de calor. La comida es locamente sobreprecio, y no de buena calidad. Salmón y huevos con “pan tostado con mantequilla caliente”, donde la tostada no estaba ni caliente, ni con mantequilla, y los huevos estaban tibios. 13 euros para un lamentable tazón de granola con “leche al vapor” que era de nuevo - tibio en el mejor de los casos, y un café de sabor bastante terrible. Simplemente no entiendo de dónde vienen todas las buenas críticas. Teniendo en cuenta la cantidad de lugares de desayuno genuinamente buenos que hay en esta área, simplemente no entiendo las altas críticas que tiene este lugar. 35€ por dos artículos y un café. No volvería a comer aquí por la mitad de ese precio.

We (group of 6) were treated terribly. The miserable staff made us wait outside in the cold for a very long time. We wouldn't have to wait much longer, but it ended up taking an hour (!). Several groups were left ahead of us while we waited longer. We felt treated inferiorly. All in all not great service!

Hand on heart this has to be the best tasting coffee I’ve EVER had. So much so that I had to order a second cup. It’s by no means cheap, but it’s so good. You’re really paying for the quality here. Food is also good from what I had and could see. Again, not the lowest of prices but large portions and nicely presented. Nice, cosy place set away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

The 6 of us wanted to have a brunch here after having a delicious meal at the De Pipe branch. Upon arrival at 1:40 PM we had to sign up for the waiting list and the time would be 25 minutes. After an hour of waiting, according to the website, it would finally be our turn, and we were told that we were about to be assigned a table. Several other groups entered in front of us and were able to sit down immediately, while we waited outside for more than fifteen minutes. Very unfriendly treatment by the staff, so we ended up sitting somewhere else. Then we only received a message at 3:50 PM that there would be room for us. It's a shame that this happened this way at the East branch, because we were perfectly prepared to wait for a table, but because of the unfriendly way of treating us, we decided to go somewhere else and therefore waited for an hour for a table in vain!

5 out 5! Coffee is lekker, service is prima! The cafe gets busy but we signed up to the virtual queue while walking there, a table was ready for us when we arrived.

Lovely and attentive staff. I mentioned I was Celiac and they took care to prepare my dish gluten free without question. The gluten free bread was delicious as a base to the Eggs Royal. Would definitely recommend for brunch!

Must try for brunch, excellent food and larger portions. Only problem we had is the queue system they use when it's busy. We were not used to using an app to get in the queue and having waited at the queue here sign for 10 mins we were then pointed to the app, 4 parties who came behind us obviously knew the system and jumped ahead. No big deal only a 15 mins wait outside in the sunshine 👍. Maybe just point people to the app as soon as they there.

This place is everything. I still dream about my chorizo hash and espresso martini. 11/10 brunch spot

Really long waiting time. First we had to wait 50 minutes to be seated, and then another 55 minutes from our order till we had the food. Honestly not worth our time, especially being with our 1 year old.

Holy moly. Randomly stumbled across this when looking for a breakfast place & when we arrived there was a QR code to wait in line for a table, the wait was 15-20 minutes but worth every single minute when we got in and got served the best breakfast we have had in Amsterdam! The menu itself is soooo big and has sooo many different styles of breakfast. The eggs benny was next level, and it’s hard to make that a special breakfast imo! They smashed it and we have booked a table for another breakfast ASAP!

Muy buen lugar para desayunar en Amsterdam. Desayuno tipo americano pero aumentó algunos niveles de calidad. Tuvimos que esperar en la cola pero muy fácil proceso para conseguir su nombre en la lista de espera. Fuimos el domingo y recomendamos llegar antes de las 10 am. Buena comida, buen café y servicio.

You might have to wait specifically during peak hours so be prepared but it is totally worth it. I tried the Roasters Kumara hash and it was delightful. The chai latte I ordered was excellent too. Highly suggest if you’re looking for a breakfast/brunch spot.

Was really looking forward to this however the experience was spoiled by bad staff, pretentious, loud and pretty rude - the waiter bashed around, telling people they couldn’t order drinks and food at the same time, couldn’t park their buggy at the table on and on he went. I tried to go the counter to pay to be told I have to sit down again, so I stood by the table while the waiters restocked the cutlery trays (non urgent in my opinion) only to be told to sit down while my 3 kids were ready to go so trying to keep them calm. All in all ruined what could have been a good experience - wouldn’t recommend and won’t be returning. Above this the coffee was below average. The food was nice however so compliments to the chef who should find another place to make his lovely food!

The breakfast spot definitely has an appealing atmosphere that comes across well on Instagram and TikTok. However, I think that the price-performance ratio is not quite right. The taste of the food is okay, but not outstanding. It's a nice place, but I don't think it quite lives up to the hype on social media. The employees were helpful and nice.

Had the best server with blond hair and a mustache. He was so kind and very helpful. Will definitely be recommending to friends.

The four of us had breakfast here on a Saturday. Very cute cafe. When we arrived, the terrace was full, but we immediately got a table inside (we didn't have to scan the QR code - we were immediately greeted by a friendly & attentive staff member & shown to our table). We didn't have to wait long for the drinks and food - it was simply delicious and the portions left us more than full! Clear recommendation! 👌 P.S. The self-pressed juice was mega & a real energy boost.

Get there early or go online and add yourself to the wait-list if possible. Even if there are tables the service staff will not talk directly to you. You must scan the QR code and enter your information. Then they call out your name. We were seated and handed menus. We waited 20 minutes for coffee, then put in our food order and waited almost 45 minutes. We had a tour to get to, so we are fast and asked for the check quickly. They seemed well organized and we'll staffed so we were confused about why it took so long. IMPORTANT NOTE- they do charge 2€ for any changes to your order. I found this odd, but it didn't effect me. Bakery selection is cake, but it was good

I'm sad to have to rate this 2 stars, the food was great and the service quite pleasant. But the obnoxious waiting queue system should make everyone avoid this place. A waiting queue outside which has you scan a QR and wait around until your table is ready already sounded like a ridiculous AI generated approach. What made it even worse is that the webapp barely worked, had to be reopened multiple times and shows contradicting waiting times. We went for a walk while the app said 10-20 minute wait time, it went down to 0-10, back up to 8-18 and randomly decided a table was ready. the most ridiculous of all is the table we were seated at outside had been empty since we arrived, no prep was needed at all. either get a competent developer on the case. or even better, do NOT reinvent the wheel and use a regular first come first serve or reserve online feature

Went for breakfast, the cappuccino and coffee were not good, the chocolate biscuits mediocre but not in line with the price and the prices in general were exaggerated, I don't recommend it

Used to be quite good, currently rather terrible. More than half empty terrace, requested a table in the sun, “sorry all reserved”, took a second to realize he wasn’t kidding. Remained empty for duration of our stay. Waiter was super rushed, continuously dropping chairs, cutlery and glasses.

Recommended for brunch. It was fresh and delicious, the employees were extremely polite. Thanks so much ☺️

Nice little brunch restaurant in Amsterdam near the Nemo Science Museum. We had Roasters Kumara Hash, the dish was excellent although a bit fatty due to the chorizo. The coffee in particular is excellent here, very intense and freshly ground. The complementary water right at the table was a nice touch. The whole thing is a bit expensive, but the portions are relatively large, so you can definitely treat yourself if you're a little hungry.

Amazing service, strong coffee and high quality food. I was excited to give this place a try based on the great reviews and we were not disappointed. The entire experience was exactly what you hope for. Highly recommend.

I came alone at 1 p.m. and I didn't wait. The food is excellent and the service impeccable! I was no longer hungry after my meal but I couldn't resist the carrot cake and I did well, it was hearty and above all delicious. The coffee is also excellent! I will return with pleasure!

Great vegan brekkie! Really liked the vegan cheese and my friend really liked the mushrooms. We also got the PB banana bread takeaway which travelled very well and tasted great.

Tried to go here for breakfast. Wanted to sit at the terrace because it was half empty. The unfriendly staff forced me to scan a QR-code and join the “waiting queue”. I took place at the terrace next to it for breakfast at cafe Orloff. The staff here is friendly and the terrace of Bakers&Roasters is still half empty.

The service is very good and friendly. The menus are okay, with many options and clear descriptions. The drinks were smaller than I usually have but satisfactory, and they arrived quickly. The food came at a suitable time, with portions appropriate for us. The food was incredibly tasty. The dessert was very delicious! I recommend this place; the waiters are very friendly and calm!

Recommended by a friend and wow, they did not disappoint! The food was delicious and there are quite a few special options, food you couldn't just find at other brunch places. I liked the mix of different cultures in the dishes. It's best to reserve your spot, especially if you're going as a group but it's very much worth it in my opinion.

Vege Brekkie was ok, i like the creamy mushroom mostly. Huevos Rancheros was better more flavors. Pancake unfortunately was undercooked.

Stumbled upon this cafe and been back twice already. Delicious fluffy pancakes, good coffee (though I recommend getting it hot rather than the iced options). Plenty of seating upstairs as well, so walk-ins during the week should be fine. Service is great.

We got the eggs royale, the churizo breakfast burrito, and a high stack of pancakes. For drinks we got two milkshakes and an apple juice. The drinks were all nice, and both the burrito and the eggs royale were delicious, but when I tell you the pancakes were mid, I don’t mean they were bad. I mean they were SO mid, so AVERAGE, so INFURIATINGLY NON-BAD, NON-GOOD meal I’ve ever had. I would have been happier had they poured in a KG of salt. IT TASTED LIKE NOTHING. If you had given air a solid form, and made it soft, but chewy at the same time, you’d have the exact pancakes they served us today. The bananas were SO WARM, WARMER than the pancakes. It was like they’d placeed the pancakes in the fridge while they ROASTED the pitiful, browning bananas. Our table was a bit sticky when we sat down, but not to an extreme level or anything. Waiters were nice and on time aswell, would reccommend everything except the pancakes.

Tables could be spaced out a bit out though if you’re multilingual you will get sensory overload from all the conversations surrounding you, way too close with next tables

I’ve been a regular customer for brunch and coffee to go. On my last visit while waiting for my coffee I was “scolded” by the barista for waiting inside. Really left a bad taste in my mouth. Not going again
