Food is good. But the waitress was soooo obnoxiously friendly. HIIIII HONNNEEEEEEEY. HIIII SWEEEETIEEEEE. and SO LOUD! And that to every single person. And every time she brings food, takes an order or whatever. One time is cute and friendly but 1000 times is a bit too much honey.

Best food I've had in Europe in 16 days!! Brunch with a Brazilian touch, everything fresh, extremely well-served and delicious. I recommend it 100%.

Delicious breakfast!! The Navajo Eggs were a 10/10 😻 Incredible flavors, very generous portion. The place was very cozy, and the lady who served us was super attentive and very kind!! We also had the special B&R, which was also very good. We booked online, no problem! I highly recommend it.

Pancakes vary according to your taste :) They come with blueberries and plain. I loved them, but my husband and kids didn't 🫣

We were served by probably the team leader, who was simply unpleasant. We wanted a table outside, but she refused to look into it and simply told us sternly that we had to make do with inside, even though there was plenty of space. She might have been having a bad day, but there is no need to be so catty and unkind to customers. It is a shame, because the pancakes were very tasty. However, we will not be returning because of this.

Got eggs Florentine. Might have gotten unlucky but the poached eggs were undercooked, spinach was too wet, overall the taste was bland and every bite felt mushy. Everything else looked good and atmosphere and service was nice.

Unfortunately, the gluten-free bread is not suitable for people with celiac disease. However, the staff is very friendly and accommodating. I then ate a meal without bread. People with celiac disease also need to be careful with the coffee machine.

This NZ cafe is awesome. Vibrant atmosphere, excellent coffee and food. Second day in Amsterdam and found the coffee quite weak compared to what I'm used to in Sydney - not an issue here! We had the B&R breakfast and Bircher muesli with lychees & raspberries ***YUM*** (and 3 coffees...)

Great place for food! The food was delicious and really nourishing. I had the “Power Breakfast” and I highly recommend it! I was also pleasantly surprised to meet an Australian waiter there -Grace, she was so friendly and positive! 😊

An interesting menu... nice food... we may have been to old for this place, it is modern industrial style with poor acoustics, loud music with a heavy beat and general babble makes for a not very relaxing breakfast.

We had brunch here which we absolutely loved. Helen was a great host who helped us for our choices. The cherry on the ice was that my son dropped the bacon of his brunch and they brought him some more free. Thank you for the experience 🙏🏻

I was in town for a world pride and a friend who lived in the area recommended this place for breakfast. I arrived early and they sat me right away— while I was hoping for an outdoor table, they sat inside and eventually transitioned us when more space opened up. While I was waiting, I ordered a Matcha latte with almond milk, which was a nice balance of earthy and sweet. For my entrée, I ordered the vegetarian breakfast which came with two eggs which you can get either poached scrambled or sunny side up as well as sourdough toast, halloumi cheese, avocado, and potatoes. It was very hearty and I was full. The one thing that I know if you’re sitting outside is to be mindful of the wasps, and the tables are relatively close to other people so your conversation will likely be heard.

Service was nice, but food is not worth it payed almost 20€ for just a little sandwich with a bit of meat.

We luckily did not have to wait, for a weekday lunch. We ordered the pulled pork and it was amazing. The vibe was very nice on the terrasse as well, got a nice view of the river and the bridges. Only thing that bothered as was three persistent wasps.

One of the best places to come for a super complete breakfast or brunch in Amsterdam. Good prices, excellent service, very good food, all homemade, and very well located in the center. I'll definitely be back, a perfect 10/10.

My 4 stars are for: The incredible, family-friendly, and warm atmosphere… and very pleasant and friendly service. The food was delicious; the toast with the best scrambled eggs I've ever had (the texture was amazing!), the bacon was crispy and hot 😮‍💨, and the avocado added that freshness every dish needs. The pancakes were the only thing that didn't quite win me over. They had a milky or creamy flavor that I didn't like, a chewy texture, and very little rise. They just needed something to complete the experience. But everything was delicious, and I would definitely go back to try those dishes that looked so good.

Bakers & Roasters, in Amsterdam's Westerpark district: the food is truly excellent, no question about it. What spoiled the experience was the noise. There was a wait outside on the street upon arrival (even with the virtual waiting list, expect to wait there), and then the music inside was so loud you couldn't hear yourself speak at your table. A real plus, however, is that they are very attentive to gluten-free needs, with staff who take requests seriously. If you're looking for a quiet chat, this isn't the place for you; if you're just looking for a good meal, it's worth a visit.

The place is very welcoming and the staff are lovely. While it's a pleasant option for breakfast, I can't say it's very economical. We paid 50 euros for two people. At the hotel, the buffet breakfast for two was 36 euros.

Everything was excellent. The person who served us recommended the "Navajo Eggs," and they were spectacular—an excellent blend of flavors. You're very satisfied with the portion size and even more so with the flavors. The blueberry pancakes were also delicious, and even the fruit bowl was good. The service was impeccable, and the atmosphere was very pleasant. This is a place you shouldn't miss if you visit Amsterdam. Wonderful!

We love both locations of Bakers and Roaster and make a point to have brunch here every time we are in Amsterdam. The food is outstanding and the service is excellent. Highly recommend.

We had such a great experience at Baker’s & Roasters, and a big part of that was thanks to Alba. She was incredibly friendly, attentive, and welcoming from the moment we arrived. She made us feel comfortable, gave us recommendations, and made sure everything was perfect throughout our visit. You can really tell she cares about providing excellent service. We’re visiting from Spain for a few days, and besides the amazing service, she also took the time to recommend some great places to explore around the city, which we really appreciated. It made our trip even more special. Staff like her are the reason people come back. We’ll definitely be returning before we head home.

Such good food! Honestly one of the best breakfast spots I have been to abroad. We had the pancakes and the Huevos Rancheros - both amazing, pancakes fluffy. Matcha made really well.

Great coffee! Delicious food with lots of vegan options. Price quality is really well balanced, considering the steep prices in Amsterdam. And all the staff is super friendly, Alba especially! Kadijksplein is one of my favourite places in Amsterdam and I highly recommend it.

Celebrated a birthday brunch here and loved it. The menu has something for everyone - different dietary needs covered too. Food was so good and the plates were generous - arrive with an appetite! And beyond that, what we loved the most was the vibe - the staff made us feel super welcome. Great spot for a group celebration - we'll be back!

Amazing energy! Go during the week if possible; it gets crowded on weekends. Everything is delicious and the staff are friendly.

We waited over an hour for our food. We noticed people who arrived after us getting served first, so we asked how much longer it would take. That's when we were told they had completely forgotten our order. We had a timed museum ticket afterwards and wanted to just leave without eating, but they assured us it would take 'ONLY' 5 minutes. In the end, waiting for our takeaway food took at least another 20 minutes."

Lovely shaded spot, far enough away from roads and crowds to be relaxing while remaining near the city. Great view towards the Maritime Museum and Science centre. Lovely staff and fantastic milk shakes!

Trendy breakfast/brunch/lunch spot. Definitely overpriced, but the portions are generous. The carrot cake/pie is highly recommended in terms of price/quality. The music is very loud inside; there is a small terrace across the street.

This place was a huge disappointment. Their so-called “Power Breakfast” was about 60% beans. The piece of chicken was tiny, dry, bland, and completely unseasoned. For €20, the portion was honestly ridiculous. Just look at the photo and decide for yourself how appetizing it looks. The only things I liked were the fresh carrot juice and the nice location. The food was awful, and this café is seriously overrated. I absolutely do not recommend coming here. Save your time and your money.👎👎

I went today with my family and loved it! Obviously the food was good and so was the service but outstanding part for me - no smoking even outside! We could enjoy sitting outside with a baby and a small kid (and when I had asked, the lady who I think might be the owner, very sweetly said it’s not okay to smoke here as I also have kids so I know!). For me, these are brownie points! ❤️

Very average place. The taste of the eggs was also average, and all the cups smelled like eggs. So you’d be sipping a milkshake with an eggy taste basically. And inside is super noisy!

Great taste and portions. Im terrible at catching names but the host and server was delight, very kind and welcoming. Debated going again the next morning but felt we had to experience something new for the sake of it. Highly recommend. Toilets were above average.

Overpriced, over time the dishes are becoming more and more small for a more and more expensive price. The staff is always in a rush and they try to disguise their disrespectful treatment with fake friendly voices. I was on my own and I was pressured into eating quickly. I ordered poached eggs and as you can see in the picture their were practically boiled. For a really high price you get a quarter avocado and 1 strip of bacon in your plate, not acceptable. Before it was better, I’m really deceived and will never come back.

This is a really nice brunch spot with a good variety of options on the menu. We came on a busy day joined the virtual queue and waited for about 10 mins before being seated. I ordered the B&R Special which was excellent - a good combo of sweet and savoury. The food arrived in about 5-10 mins which was impressive given it was a busy morning with lots other customers. Their staff were great and they created space for us with our stroller and our 6 month old baby. Thanks for a providing a great experience!

Excellent brunch! The value for money is excellent, the staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, and the meal is more than satisfactory. It's located in a quieter area, away from the hustle and bustle of Amsterdam, making the setting particularly pleasant and relaxing. We're deducting one point for the vegetable drinks: the celery drink and the turmeric & carrot drink were a bit too strong for our tastes… but this is purely a matter of personal preference and doesn't detract from the quality of the meal! We highly recommend this restaurant.

Yes, the breakfast is good, but the price-performance ratio is very high. You can have the same breakfast elsewhere for a more reasonable price.

Good food, but not great or worth going back. I had the cannellini beans toast. We all had one drink + lunch, added 10% tip, and split the bill equally. Ended up paying €28, which is makes it even less tempting to go back for a small/regular size lunch..

Usually i'm not impressed by brunches, but this one was delicious. Pricy, but truly an amazing experience. Can recommend everything that we've ordered: the power breakfast, the french toast, the pancakes, the turkey bagel and the navajo eggs. Especially the last 2!

There is not a bad dish you can have! I had the Kiwi and my wife had the B&R and they were both unbelievable!

Our top breakfast experience in Amsterdam. They have a large variety of dishes, veggie friendly and healthy food options. Super tasty coffee and very nice staff taking time to explain dishes. Treat yourself with the Power shake, this was the best drink I had for long. Food was top quality and good sized portions. I recommend sitting outside in nice weather and observe the lively canal there.

Firstly the staff was super friendly, but I'm genuinely surprised by the high ratings. It's super pricey and mediocre at best. The poached eggs on sourdough bread are very bland, but it was eatable. The pancakes were nice. My partner had the turkey patty bagel, and the meat was inedible. He literally puked coming out of the place. Tasted like old fat. Wouldn't recommend. Which is really sad cause we followed the ratings and travelled there for over 30 mins this morning
