Long service times but worth the wait.. Food is out of this world..

Best banana bread, French toast ever and not just because I was hungry. Great service great selection on the menu.

Cute cafe in Amsterdam, a little outside of the true city center, this place had really nice vibes and good food.

Excellent breakfast/lunch. The pancakes, the bacon, the pulled pork, the salsa … everything was super fresh and tasty. We’ll be back another day. 😊

This place was very close to my hotel. I was so pleased with the breakfast I had the first day that I came back the second. The staff is friendly and helpful. The eggs royale was delicious. The orange juice is freshly squeezed. The service is very fast, and the staff constantly checks in to make sure you're satisfied. There's usually a line, but I arrived 5 minutes after opening (8:30 AM), so I didn't have to wait. You should definitely try it.

The food there is delicious! After our first visit, we came back another day. It is a great place for breakfast or brunch. I love their milkshakes!

The staff was very friendly, always smiling, and attentive to every detail. But what really surprised me was the pulled pork: honestly, it was the best I've ever eaten, even surpassing any I've had in Mexico. Its flavor, texture, and seasoning far surpassed other places that boast this specialty. You can tell they take great care with every ingredient and preparation. If you value a good dining experience, with well-made dishes, a pleasant atmosphere, and excellent service, this place is 100% recommended. I will definitely return.

BRING BACK THE BURRITOOOOOOOO!!! I've been craving it for months already... and it's not there anymore? There are less original plates that could have gone out... but the burrito? Please please... I beg you 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 bring it back 🥲🥲🥲 For the rest, the place is great. It's a bit too noisy, perhaps some noise panels to help with the sound would improve it. The service is OK... it could be better honestly. Maybe more smiley faces. Waitressing can be challenging but your staff used to be happier! (Maybe it changed since you kill the burrito). And the food still has some good 'ol classics... the Navajo eggs and the huevos rancheros are still a must try... together with the late burrito 🌯 ⚰️

I wish I can give more than 5 starts. Everything in this place was sooo good: the friendly staff, the food, and the place itself. We ordered two dishes and the yoghurt dish with oat and it was soooo yummy. If you visit Amsterdam, this place us not be missed but mage sure you have a reservation or you will wait in the queue, but worth the waiting. محل فطور رائع في أمستردام و الخدمه ممتازه جدا و الاكل جدا جدا لذيذ.

I had an excellent experience for brunch here a couple days ago. Not only was the food delicious, but the service was truly above and beyond. The service provided to my partner and me was fantastic, but the service provided to the table next to us was what inspired me to go out of my way to leave this review. The two ladies next to us clearly did not speak any Dutch and spoke very limited English. Additionally, one of the ladies was blind and had some sort of allergy or intolerance. The servers went above and beyond to communicate with these ladies, pulling up photos on their phones and providing detailed descriptions of the dishes. The servers were incredibly kind and professional to the ladies, taking the time to make sure the ladies knew exactly what they were ordering. An amazing restaurant with amazing employees—please go and support them!

Food: excellent. Their salmon with eggs was great. Pancakes are thick and fluffy. Food was overall worth the line. Service: friendly staff and are open to help you narrow your options. Atmosphere: busy but chill setting. Definitely recommended.

We were quite lucky, because we visited this place in the morning without booking any table. Fortunately, they were able to make a table for two persons. There was a queue 5 minutes later, and people had to wait for the free tables. It's worth to book a table in advance. The quality of the breakfast was very good. It was very taste. What I didn't like was that the tables were too close to each other and my feeling was that we were eating breakfast together with a stranger couple. I like more privacy.

Good brunch, we ate very well there but it's definitely not worth the price. The problem is that you have to book well in advance. There are long lines and waiting times, very small place, tables tightly packed together. We ate at the same table as other people. The place is very noisy. We won't be back, too bad.

The food makes this probably the best brunch spot in Amsterdam. I'm even OK with the high prices, because the ingredients are good. But they play tacky, loud music. And the place has been discovered by tourists, which means it's often hard to get a table, and the place no longer feels like it's in service to the neighbourhood and city.

I wasn't a huge fan of the chorizo, but that could just be my bias for what I am familiar with. I also regret adding the meat. For some reason I felt like I needed to add the meat for the vegetarian dish to be a full meal, that was not at all the case. I had the tostada like thing with the Brazilian black beans and eggs and avocado. I don't recall what it was called, but it was fantastic.

Unfortunately it did not meet the expectations with which I went. You have many more places to have breakfast or lunch in Amsterdam that are much more delicious. But it's just my opinion. Highlight the very attentive and friendly service.

great food and great service. But…Very very loud music. We asked to turn it down and they tried but the Spotify channel kept reverting to loud. So we asked to turn off and they said NO. The waitress was apologetic because loud music was challenging for her too. Very challenging to have a conversation with our group of six at a small table. Only could talk to person next to me. Sigh. Otherwise, great food and great service.

Friendly service and decent foods

The food is great. Both main course and desserts. However, personnel definitely can't handle a customers flow. We came with a reservation, other people without it had to wait from 5 to 20 minutes depending on time of day. At the table they forgot for our pancakes for about 30 minutes. The recalled them only after an explicit reminder. Besides that, the place is a regular big-portion-style breakfast cafe, no better or worse than nearby alternatives. Food: 9/10 Service: 3/10 Waiting time: 3/10

Wow. Very good food, I got the vegetarian dish with eggs and Brazilian beans. Not being vegetarian, I was suspicious of my choice... but ended up that I can't wait to come back and order it again!

Ate here with my boyfriend. Beforehand we had to scan a QR code for the virtual waitinglist. You will receive a text message when your table is ready. The food itself was good. A lot of choices and the portions are huge. We just couldn't finish it. I would almost recommend getting 1 dish for 2 people. We paid around 55 euros for 2 persons, but it was worth the food we got. Only thing I would ask the restaurant, is to lower the volume of the music. It felt like I was sitting in a club and I couldn't hear the my person.

Reserve the table, otherwise you ll need to wait for a free spot or be lucky as we were. Food and drink was very tasty, unfortunately I forgot the name of mine one, but based on Jim Beam and milk was so special and delicious. Toasts were well prepared as well and there was a great choice of them. Service was kind and fast. Really cozy and nice place!

Great breakfast with GENEROUS portions. We could not finish our plates, I would recommend sharing. Eggs florentine was the best eggs Benedict I’ve ever had. Everything was exceptional. I would recommend the fresh pressed juices too.

My partner and I came on a Thursday at 1:50 p.m. (they close at 3 p.m.), there weren't many people there. Really great welcome and service. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and adorable. We both had the BR Special, and honestly, it was delicious. As an added bonus, they'll ask you how your eggs were cooked (scrambled, fried, or omelet). THE PANCAKES ARE FANTASTIC (and honestly, I'm pretty picky about that). 🥞 For drinks, I had an orange/carrot/ginger juice, and my partner had the green apple/cucumber/celery/lemon/ginger juice, and both tasted great. In fact, the only thing that isn't pressed is the apple juice. For the juice, I think they use a juicer, not a blender. As for the comments that say it's long, that's normal; everything is done on the spot, so you need to stop believing in Santa Claus. It's worth the trip. I recommend it.

Price is on the high side, but I thought the quality matched the price. We recommend the navajo eggs and B&R special! The service made us feel very welcome and was very friendly. It is important to make a reservation if you want to be assured of a place. This can be done online on their website. We did this for 3 people a day in advance. Bakers & Roasters is open from 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM. And it is a busy place! Even though we had made a reservation, we had to wait 45 minutes for our lunch, because of 2 large groups that also had to be served. Nevertheless, we had a delicious meal. A small tip to give sharper knives, it was now a bit difficult to cut the bread.

Great food! I recommend joining the online waiting queue as soon as you get there as it is quite busy. B&R special was amazing, and the bacon was cooked perfectly.

This was so delicious! I recommend the Navajo Eggs because the pulled pork was sooo good. The pancakes were yummy too. Super kind service and good drinks. The only inconvenience was a fresh delivarence of supplies, so the door was left open and it was a little loud and cold. But this was over so fast, it wouldn't stop us from enjoying this delicious breakfast another time!

We arrived at 0850 and we greeted with: “Good morning, have you reserved a table?” We said no “Okay, scan this QR code and add to the Waiting List” This ‘Waiting List’ wanted my name, telephone number and email address. This isn’t a new product launch, it’s a cafe. There were many seats empty. We left and went to a cafe where we were greeted with a nice warm welcoming smile.

This place was recommended to me but it has waiting time and food serving time was almost an hour. The food was good but not extra-ordinary. I have chosen the Mexican brunch which was new to me and I liked it.

Disfrutamos de un delicioso desayuno lleno aquí. Éramos 6 y tuvimos que registrarnos y esperar afuera, sin embargo solo durante 15 / 20 minutos. La selección del desayuno era excelente, el tocino y huevos revueltos con tortitas era como una comida de 2 platos. Sin duda volvería de nuevo.

It was our 3rd place in our search for breakfast in Amsterdam. An influencer wrote that you should not return without trying it, and he was right. It was both satisfying and delicious. I tried the Veggi Brekkie, which consisted of mushrooms with sauce, scrambled eggs, avocado and peeled potatoes roasted in oil. I tested and confirmed that the fresh orange juices were original. We were able to find a seat because we went early, but it's best to make a reservation.

My friend and I went for brunch to bakers and roasters and we were very happy with our find. We‘ve had to walk for a bit but that was okay because we‘ve then had a good brunch! We‘ve had the royal eggs and the veggie brekkie, it was so good. Would definitely recommend those! 😋 The waiters were friendly and helped us with our pick and always made sure, that we have enough water on our table. Definitely would visit again when in Amsterdam!

Siamo andati in questo posto per fare colazione all'orario di apertura per evitare che si creasse fila e perdessimo tempo, visto che era la giornata dedicata ai musei. Bel locale, un menù variegato soprattutto per la parte salata, ma che propone (poche) alternative dolci. Abbiamo preso due pancake con more, banane e acero accompagnate dal caffè. Pancake buonissimi, ben fatti e belli soffici, ma il caffè proprio no; non so se fosse il tipo di macina utilizzata o forse la macchinetta, ma risultava quasi come se fosse bruciato. Prezzi altini, ma la qualità c'è. Da provare le proposte salate.

Llamé aquí para un poco de desayuno y fue rápidamente mostrado a una mesa. El lugar tenía una bonita decoración y alguien se encontró con menús y para tomar una orden de bebidas. Pedimos comida. Pedimos una pila de tortitas que venía con plátanos, arándanos y jarabe de arce, azúcar glas en las tortitas. Eran de los más esponjosos que he visto y probado increíbles. Luego pedimos un pedazo de pastel de yogur de limón que era agradable y ligero con un glaseado de limón. Tomamos un chai latte y capuchino. Se sirve rápido y la comida era deliciosa. Volvería a visitar

The food was okay, I would recommend the Navajo eggs because the bbq pulled pork was tasty. However, I wouldn’t recommend the pancakes, they were too dry. The service was very very slow. If you want to go there, make sure to book a table before attending.

We came across "Bakers and Roasters" by chance in Amsterdam and came back several times. I found the vege breakfast with poached eggs very unique - the chili jam just added to the whole thing. The mushroom sauce was super creamy and didn't overpower the other flavors (avocado, potatoes, egg, bread, halloumi), but complemented them perfectly. It's definitely something for foodies who like to eat healthy, organic food and are still looking for something you can't easily recreate at home. The Eggs Florentine are also highly recommended, a little "simpler" than the vege breakfast. The pancakes are also good, but I was personally more impressed by the savory dishes, which is probably a matter of taste. Definitely worth a visit in Amsterdam if you're looking for a wholesome, super tasty breakfast/brunch ☺️✨🌱
