Simply delicious! Exceptional service, wonderful food with a Brazilian touch.

Firstly the staff was super friendly, but I'm genuinely surprised by the high ratings. It's super pricey and mediocre at best. The poached eggs on sourdough bread are very bland, but it was eatable. The pancakes were nice. My partner had the turkey patty bagel, and the meat was inedible. He literally puked coming out of the place. Tasted like old fat. Wouldn't recommend. Which is really sad cause we followed the ratings and travelled there for over 30 mins this morning

Overall an okay experience, but pricey. Huevis rancheros were not seasoned, and the tostada was soggy. Otherwise okay. Sadly, the pancakes were super sticky and had very few blueberries. The ginger and lemon tea was amazing, and coffee was decent. The challenge was the staff, who constantly hovered andade us feel watched the entire time. They were very friendly, but also constantly hovering and by every table looking very intently, quite uncomfortable.

We visited Bakers & Roasters today for breakfast, and everything was absolutely top-notch. The service was exceptional. The staff were extremely attentive and always made sure that we were comfortable and that nothing was missing. Even though we had a small child with us, it was never a problem—in fact, they handled it wonderfully. At one point our child dropped the cutlery, and it was replaced immediately without us even having to ask. You rarely see that level of awareness and care. The lady who served us was simply outstanding—truly 10/10. You could easily believe that the place belongs to her because of how professionally and warmly she runs everything. Whether or not that’s the case, she does an amazing job. Honestly, this was one of the best examples of hospitality I have ever experienced. Many restaurants could learn a lot from this team. We traveled from Switzerland and spent four days here, and I can confidently say that this was by far the best service we have experienced in a very long time. If you are in Amsterdam, having breakfast here is an absolute must.

We had a great breakfast. Warm and cozy atmosphere to enjoy a warm late in a cold winter morning. Kiwi Brekkie was good, but I can’t recommend enough the pancakes - one of the best I’ve ever had. We came almost 1 hour from Huffdorp, and it was worth it!

Very good brunch, a bit of a wait but it's worth it!

Lovely brunch spot! They have a note on the menu that there is a 2€ charge for dish modifications - but then they will ask if your modification is due to an allergy (mine was). Kind of odd. Would revisit though.

We came here after searching best amsterdam breakfast places and believed reviews.Glasses were dirty to drink water.Glasses and forks were crazy old. Service personals were not hygienec enough to serve. Prices were too high for this kind of a service.

A great New Zealand inspired brunch restaurant. They’ve existed for many years, and the service has been good whenever I visited. Food doesn’t take long to arrive, and the portions will definitely fill you up! The prices are a bit higher than overall in Amsterdam, but the quality makes up for that. You get what you pay for, and I haven’t ever had a bad meal here. The music is also nice and soft so it’s easy to talk. Sometimes waits can get long over the weekend, especially in the summer, so an online reservation helps.

This was hands down one of the nicest breakfasts I’ve had ever! The eggs benny was phenomenal, I added cottage cheese and avocado to mine. Ended up coming here every morning of our three day trip- just amazing. Will absolutely recommend this to friends and family who plan on coming to amsterdam. Staff were super nice and food was great. Prices for drinks a little shocking... A bottle of beer 9.5 for 3.5% 33cl, 8 euro for wine, juice at of a premix bottle 5.5 euro. I understand brunch is becoming a new thing, but I think these prices even for Amsterdam is a little embarrassing.

Sure, the breakfast was delicious, but when it came time to pay, they didn't ask for a tip as if it were mandatory, or force you to give them a tip, so they gave me a point for that. Prices are already high, and it's not nice to be bullied like that.

We went to Bakers & Roasters for lunch on a 3 day visit to Amsterdam - we loved it so much we went back for a second time the next day! The vibes are awesome, staff are really friendly and most importantly - the food is amazing! I had the Navajo Eggs with a refreshing Turmeric and orange drink - best food we had in Amsterdam without a doubt - highly recommend visiting if you are here

We had a great/delicious breakfast in this cozy setting. Without a long wait, we were quickly shown to our table by a friendly hostess. I ordered the B&R special and my husband the Cuban sandwich, and they were perfect. We had fresh orange juice, tea, and cappuccino, which were also delicious. We felt very comfortable. I came here twice during my stay in Amsterdam. It's a great place to have breakfast or brunch! The prices are not cheap for my taste, but the food was very tasty. My absolute favorite was the Vege Brekkie. I also tried the French toast. It was too sweet for me. My boyfriend can highly recommend the B&R Special and the Cubano Sandwich. The service was very friendly. The waiting times were humane.

Very tasty pancakes! I don't know what maple syrup they use, but it's really good. We highly recommend the creamy mushrooms and potatoes with spinach. All in all, very good, just very expensive.

A very nice breakfast place in the centre of Amsterdam. The selected dishes were freshly prepared and tasted very good. The scrambled eggs were very creamy and delicious, the Bircher muesli was perfect in consistency and great in flavour. The service was very friendly, attentive and quick. Not an insider tip, but definitely a recommendation for a very tasty brunch.

The restaurant is located in a very pretty and quiet corner of the city, the decor is modern and sober, the welcome is really friendly and professional, and the dishes generous and delicious. Were greeted with rather rude attitude. Food was rather lacking - eggs Benedict were served on basically two massive croutons. The loudness of the place was unbearable because serving lady took it as an absolute sport to throw cutlery the loudest she could into a bucket. Music was loud enough not to hear the person you’re with. Mental choice to blast some EDM at 10am. Very underwhelming food and really not the place to have a breakfast at. At least it was moderately cheap comparing to some other places.

This place was very close to my hotel. I was so pleased with the breakfast I had the first day that I came back the second. The staff is friendly and helpful. The eggs royale was delicious. The orange juice is freshly squeezed. The service is very fast, and the staff constantly checks in to make sure you're satisfied. There's usually a line, but I arrived 5 minutes after opening (8:30 AM), so I didn't have to wait. You should definitely try it.

But what really surprised me was the pulled pork: honestly, it was the best I've ever eaten, even surpassing any I've had in Mexico. Its flavor, texture, and seasoning far surpassed other places that boast this specialty. You can tell they take great care with every ingredient and preparation. If you value a good dining experience, with well-made dishes, a pleasant atmosphere, and excellent service, this place is 100% recommended. I will definitely return.

BRING BACK THE BURRITOOOOOOOO!!! I've been craving it for months already... and it's not there anymore? There are less original plates that could have gone out... but the burrito? Please please... I beg you 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 bring it back 🥲🥲🥲 For the rest, the place is great. It's a bit too noisy, perhaps some noise panels to help with the sound would improve it. The service is OK... it could be better honestly. Maybe more smiley faces. Waitressing can be challenging but your staff used to be happier! (Maybe it changed since you kill the burrito). And the food still has some good 'ol classics... the Navajo eggs and the huevos rancheros are still a must try... together with the late burrito 🌯 ⚰️

We ordered two dishes and the yoghurt dish with oat and it was soooo yummy. I had an excellent experience for brunch here a couple days ago. Not only was the food delicious, but the service was truly above and beyond. The service provided to my partner and me was fantastic, but the service provided to the table next to us was what inspired me to go out of my way to leave this review. The two ladies next to us clearly did not speak any Dutch and spoke very limited English. Additionally, one of the ladies was blind and had some sort of allergy or intolerance. The servers went above and beyond to communicate with these ladies, pulling up photos on their phones and providing detailed descriptions of the dishes. The servers were incredibly kind and professional to the ladies, taking the time to make sure the ladies knew exactly what they were ordering. An amazing restaurant with amazing employees—please go and support them!

We were quite lucky, because we visited this place in the morning without booking any table. Fortunately, they were able to make a table for two persons. There was a queue 5 minutes later, and people had to wait for the free tables. It's worth to book a table in advance. The quality of the breakfast was very good. It was very taste. What I didn't like was that the tables were too close to each other and my feeling was that we were eating breakfast together with a stranger couple. I like more privacy.

There are long lines and waiting times, very small place, tables tightly packed together. We ate at the same table as other people. The place is very noisy. We won't be back, too bad.

The food makes this probably the best brunch spot in Amsterdam. I'm even OK with the high prices, because the ingredients are good. But they play tacky, loud music. And the place has been discovered by tourists, which means it's often hard to get a table, and the place no longer feels like it's in service to the neighbourhood and city.

I wasn't a huge fan of the chorizo, but that could just be my bias for what I am familiar with. I also regret adding the meat. For some reason I felt like I needed to add the meat for the vegetarian dish to be a full meal, that was not at all the case. I had the tostada like thing with the Brazilian black beans and eggs and avocado. I don't recall what it was called, but it was fantastic.

Unfortunately it did not meet the expectations with which I went. You have many more places to have breakfast or lunch in Amsterdam that are much more delicious. But it's just my opinion. Highlight the very attentive and friendly service.
