One of the best brunch spots in town! ✨ The food is delicious and the staff is amazing! And on top of everything, it’s pet friendly! 🐶

Very very good breakfast - we loved both huevos rancheros (great taco, lovely beans, perfect pico de gallo) and the cuban sandwich (was afraid of pork, but could not be more wrong), which were super fresh and made to perfection. When you enter the waiting list, they say it's worth the wait and I agree.

We had such a positive experience here. Great with allergies including gluten. The service was so friendly and chill.

There's only a waiting list on site, which can be accessed via QR code. It was even closed. Advance reservations aren't possible. A crowd/line is waiting in the rain outside the store. When asked, the employee replies, "Waitlist full, maybe try again in 1 hour." A complete failure in terms of organization and communication. The food couldn't be included in the review. The ambiance is plain. The staff is semi-friendly/aloof.

We had brunch with friends at Bakers & Roasters and it was simply delicious! The dishes are generous and flavorful. The atmosphere is super pleasant, warm, and friendly. Plus, there was little wait despite the crowds, which is rare for such a popular brunch spot in Amsterdam. A truly great place that we highly recommend!

Today I got a take-away coffee verkeerd and lemon cake at this place. While walking I took a sip, my god, how disgusting! The coffee had a watery licorice taste, really disgusting. After googling I see that this can have different causes. But of course you don't expect this in a place where they apparently roast their own coffee, and that disgusting cup also costs € 4.20! Lemon cake was ok.

The mocha is the best I've ever had. You do not need to add anything to it. We have been here twice now and the food is amazing. Suggest the Kiwi Brekkie and the B&R special.

Appreciated restaurant where you can enjoy a good brunch, even if it's not exactly cheap. We spent 130€ for five of us, any addition is paid, even the simple slice of bread to mop up the sauce, after all eating in Amsterdam is very expensive. We still really enjoyed the dishes. Excellent pancakes! Compliments.

The food was delicious and it's the best coffee I've had in this neighbourhood! I don't eat beef or pork, so they swapped the pork in my eggs Benedict with extra avocado. The ingredients were fresh, the flavours were amazing and the flavour pairings from the Brazilian and Kiwi cultures were incredible. One of my favourites! The staff was super nice. Even though they're reservation system was temporarily down, and I had to wait for 45 minutes before I could find a table, the staff was super nice and offered me a spot to relax in the waiting area. They also helped me with my luggage. Great experience in general, totally recommend it for brunches and breakfasts!

Fantastic bakery and coffee roastery. Huge portions (we got a gigantic portion each but I saw that customers at the tables next to us couldn't eat it all). Prices are a bit higher than average, but I think that's because of the very high quality of the products and the large portions. There are a lot of service staff so you'll never be forgotten. In case of a bigger crowd, there is a digital queue that you can sign up for via the restaurant's website (but only when you're there). We walked in from the street without having to sign up for such a queue list.

Very good restaurant with a small menu. They close in the afternoon, so it's a good place for an extended breakfast/brunch. Delicious coffee and tasty dishes, which we will eat in a friendly atmosphere.

It was the brunch of my life. The taste was perfect harmony of bread, sauce, pulled pork, eggs and avocado! If you go at the opening time of 8:30, you can sit down right away~

The portion is generous, with many options to choose from, tasty, and with quality products. If you're a group of more than 4 people, there are only 3 large tables, so be patient and have time!

My husband and I came here after the Van Gogh museum and loved it! We both got a drink and entree - everything was so good and the server gave honest opinions about their drinks (which I highly appreciated) 10/10 would recommend!!!!

The food was great, albeit big portions :) the wait for a table was quite long but this seems usual for the place given the scores of people waiting to get in. We liked the food but the service can be a bit delayed especially when it’s too busy — worth a try if you’re curious.

Arguably the best brunch in Amsterdam! The dishes are delicious, generous, and even the vegan options are excellent. The wait is super well managed thanks to a QR code system: you sign up, wait patiently, and are notified when a table becomes available. The service is perfect, the atmosphere is lively all day long, and the servers are always smiling—you can tell they're happy to be there. A top-notch experience from start to finish!

Despite a waitlist, the service was quick and efficient. I’m usually not a fan of vegan food or flavors but I tried their new vegan dish and it was absolutely fantastic. The portions were generous and I left feeling full and satisfied. Great value for money and definitely worth a visit!

The Huevos Rancheros were delicious, rich in flavor, and well presented. The short stack was good but each pancake was very dense. The chocolate milkshake was fantastic. Service was good. They only do walk-ins, so either arrive early or be prepared to wait in a queue.

I’d happily eat brunch here every day. The food is superb and the staff are lovely.

A highly recommended place for the quality of its dishes. It's best to arrive early. We were lucky enough to arrive at 10 and find a table. A lot of people arrived right after, so keep that in mind (they don't accept reservations). We ordered coffee and the B&R, which includes scrambled egg toast, avocado, and bacon, and some blueberry pancakes that were delicious. Everything was very good!

Excellent option for brunch. We ordered the avocado toast with scrambled eggs and it was incredible. It comes with the house pancakes and they were delicious. Highly recommended!

Food is good, but our morning was ruined when a drink was spilled all over me from our waiter. Things like this happen, it certainly wasn’t intentional. But no one working in the cafe was forthcoming with tissues or anything to help the situation. Nor did the cafe offer any compensation to our bill when we paid which I was very surprised by.

An experience to repeat 💫 Beakers & Roasters is one of those places that grab you from the first moment. The place is simply beautiful: carefully decorated, cozy atmosphere and a relaxed vibe that invites you to stay. Everything is designed to make you feel at ease, and they succeed. The staff is another great plus. Friendly, attentive and with an incredible energy. You can tell they like what they do and that is reflected in the service, which was impeccable from start to finish. I tried the Cuban sandwich and it was spectacular: tasty, well balanced, with quality ingredients and that special touch that makes it stand out among others. Undoubtedly, one of the best I have ever tasted. A place that combines good taste, excellent service and delicious food, I will come back without thinking twice!

You queue at the entrance with QR. We arrived on Saturday morning at around 09:10 and waited in line for about 5 minutes. It takes about 15-20 minutes for the order to arrive. We ordered Banana French Toast and Kiwi Brekkie. The flavors are generally normal but the prices are expensive compared to the plates.

I was a solo traveller in Amsterdam from 6th to 9th of May 2025. The De Pijp branch was just around the corner from my hotel. What a find!! I confess I had brunch twice during my visit and I was thrilled both times. I had eggs Benedict which came with crispy bacon and a side of 3 small blueberry pancakes and real maple syrup. Absolute heaven. The second time was the day I was going home so straight for 3 full sized pancakes (3 or 5 stack) with bacon and maple syrup and blueberries. Their own brand coffee is wonderful, and I believe the milkshakes are to die for. This restaurant is staffed with smiling helpful New Zealanders. And no-one rushes you to go. I highly recommend this restaurant. But be advised, during the busy times you may have to queue outside for your seat. Outside because this is a long, narrow room and every space is in use. It's worth it!

Excellent site; pleasant atmosphere, we went without a reservation so we tried to go early and had breakfast on the terrace. The service is excellent and a great detail is that as soon as you arrive they give you a bottle of tap water 👍🏻👏🏼 the coffee is very very good, we ordered cappuccino. We ordered a Cuban sandwich and a B&R and everything was delicious and the portions were good value for money. A place you will surely want to return to

Queuing was really a joke, because we waited for a long time and only later did we find out that we actually had to scan a QR code, register somewhere and thus reserve a place in the queue. Ultimately, it turned out that some people who came after us did know about this system and therefore got a table faster than us.

...can only be recommended, great, delicious food. I've never had such great cupcakes 😊🫠

The place is very popular but you can register on the waiting list either by scanning the St code in front of the store or on their website You then have the expected waiting time, which allows you to walk around while waiting if you wish.

Mediocre for sure. Wanted to come here for some time but was quite disappointed. We ordered the pancakes which were said to be blueberry with blueberries on top - as you can see from the pics, I got 2 blueberries 😅 and there were about 5 in total in the pancakes. When I asked about the blueberries, I was met with shock that I asked… Also €4 extra for 3 slices of skinny bacon wasn’t worth it. I think the price of everything was a bit too high for what we got. Service was okay but we were served by 3 or 4 different people whilst we were there. Atmosphere was again okay, we were on a very small high table which felt very ‘takeaway’ too.

I was just stopping for some late breakfast on my way to the museum, the place was busy and a long line outside. I asked if I could get takeaway and she sent me inside to the counter where the girl quickly took my order and had me wait outside! In less than 4 minutes they were out with my order! It might be the best carrot cake I’ve ever had!!! Definitely in the top three and the coffee was excellent!! All the staff were super friendly and helpful! I didn’t eat a meal but all those i saw looked awesome!

We got in line at opening (0830) and was seated and finished eating by 9! Service was amazing, the food even better and the atmosphere only elevated it. Highly recommend the banana bread French toast!

Got here early and everything came out fast and hot. Orange juice is freshly squeezed and the Eggs Benny was amazing.

We went there for breakfast with the family and it was a complete success. The cappuccino was excellent – ​​nice and creamy and with lots of flavor. The eggs were cooked to perfection, everything was served fresh and was of really good quality. I would particularly like to highlight the service: super friendly, attentive and warm. You immediately feel welcome. The atmosphere in the restaurant is also very pleasant – cozy and stylish! A place where you enjoy spending time and definitely want to come back. It was a freezing morning and there were a few of us waiting outside. About 6 staff were definitely aware of our presence outside and chose to ignore us. When I say it was freezing, I mean literally freezing. When a staff person eventually acknowledged us, she was rude. No apologies, just excuses. My impression, everyone's one an egotrip there. Pathetic. You couldn't pay me to go back. The Locals Brunch up the street is a great choice for a wonderful experience.

Amazing friendly service from the moment we walked in. We got there at 9:00 and luckily got a seat right away. The cappuccinos were delicious and hot! The portion sizes were nice and generous, loved that. The eggs benedict good and the granola looked lovely but nothing to really write home about. Their playlist was really good, we enjoyed our time there.

A real favorite! I had brunch at Baker Boster and everything was perfect from start to finish. The servers are adorable, always smiling, welcoming and ultra positive — it immediately puts you in a great atmosphere. The meal was great: the quantities are generous, the products are fresh, we feel that everything is homemade with love. There is a choice, which allows everyone to find what they are looking for, whether you are sweet or savory. And a big plus for their virtual queuing system: you register when you arrive, then you receive a message when our table is ready. Honestly super practical, it avoids having to wait stupidly, you can take the opportunity to take a look around! In short, an unmissable brunch! If you're in the area, you absolutely have to have brunch here. ❤️
