We chose this establishment because it was close to our hotel. For us Turks in Europe, breakfast is a serious problem. The food was delicious, but the portions weren't exactly filling. Still, it's a good option for breakfast if you're in this area.

It is a really nice location for a coffee shop. Good service, I was helped quickly. And friendly staff. The staff speaks English/Dutch. And overall it is a solid 10.

Burger with egg rather overpriced eur 15 (aug 26 prices). Food is tasty. Minor point is that you can't choose where to sit. You have to take your breakfast/brunch where other people are eating. The experience is less because you want to sit in a quieter place without a lot of people around you. There is enough place to sit. Convenience of guests is more important than the ease for them to serve people in the same area. Tea is more expensive than coffee. Everything is overpriced. Staff could be more friendly

Come visit without planning and being surprised of tasty food and excellent service! Warm scones is good ending after salmon avocado brunch! Plus mango matcha is highly recommended! Must come back again!

Very delicious brunch and lunch options! And wide selection of tasty drinks. The iced strawberry matcha and avo toast was wonderful and the fruit and granola bowl was heaven

We had the french toast and breakfast burrito, both were excellent! Service was also fast and friendly. The restaurant is also dog friendly with is a nice bonus. We will definitely return to try the other delicious items on the menu.

The food was really good and I liked how the different flavours played together. However we really disliked the service. We stood outside at the wait to be seated sign pretty long. Then after getting our food, as more staff arrived they stood together and talked about their private life while not noticing customers. That's also the reason why we didn't order a second time and went to get coffee somewhere else. Quite disappointing, since everything else was amazing. Talking this much about personal life on the job is a no-go for me. Customers come first. If you can ignore this aspect you should still go because the food is indeed amazing.

I highly recommend this place if you want to enjoy a tasty brunch in this area. We went there 2 days and the food was amazing, fair prices and also the staff was very nice even when the place was full.

Everything was perfect, actually, except the food in the brioche bun was very greasy, the matcha was made with milk, and you have to tip.

We (family of four) enjoyed the kindness of the Personal, the food was delicious and we loved to sit on the outside too. Well, the pries, I would say, are above average but maybe normal for Amsterdam.

Large dining area, so a bit quiet, but that could also have been due to the timing (weekday morning). Delicious menu, delicious dishes, really top-notch. You definitely won't leave hungry because the portions are huge. I am definitely going to visit the other Benji’s as well! Great format!

The food was tasty, but the portions were a bit small, so it wasn't very filling. The same goes for the dirty chai latte. The taste was good, but the glass was very small compared to other restaurants. Otherwise, the atmosphere was fine; it's also a nice place to work.

Pros Beautiful interior and tasty food. Cons Rather pricey, unfriendly personnel and abnormal waiting times: ca.15min at the door + ca. 30min to get a coffee with a cake. They are seriously understaffed. So, after few times I just gave up going there.

I can’t recommend this restaurant. This was my third visit (so clearly is my fault at this point), and the experience was just as disappointing. We waited 30 minutes to order, 20 minutes for a black coffee, and over 40 minutes for scrambled eggs (food ok but overpriced for the amount) and a scone. The place is understaffed and poorly organized, and tables that arrived after us were served first. Never again.

Great place to enjoy brunch in the sun, with a nice indoor seating area as well. The service was a bit slow, especially during busy hours, but the overall experience was still very good. Tasty food, good drinks, and a relaxed atmosphere. Recommended!

Very rarely experienced such a rude service… the place is supposed to close on Sunday’s at 17.00 .. Wanted to order tea around 16.15 and was told that lady order was taken … I mean really tea … then the server started really harassing people to wrap up an go as fast as possible .. at 16.45 we were literarily told to leave .. will not return .. There are much better places in Amsterdam that actually care about customers

This branch is truly amazing! I am a fan of all Benji’s locations anyway. The quality of the food is always the same, of a high standard. All the dishes are so tasty and the service is very good. The staff is very friendly. I love coming here and I highly recommend the granola!!!

I like this place. Chill spot to work from, having a great time with friends together with some nice food and good coffee. Friendly stuff and also nice outside area.

Very pleasant all around. Had the strawberry matcha and avacado toast with an egg added on. One of the only cafes where I could order a fried egg for some reason. Location was nice visually, clean and food tasted great. Staff were very laid back and quickly attentive.

A lovely spot to enjoy excellent breakfasts and brunches. The atmosphere is warm and relaxed, perfect for a leisurely start to the day. The dishes are generous, beautifully presented, and above all, truly delicious: you can tell the ingredients are fresh and high-quality. The service is friendly, and the place invites you to linger. Note that dogs are welcome; there are small snacks available for them 🐕

First time having lunch at Benji's. The atmosphere is great, and so are the workstations. The table still needed to be cleared when I sat down, and that took at least another 10 minutes. Unfortunately, it wasn't cleaned even though the food from the person before me was still there. I ordered avocado toast and a matcha, and I have to say, I find the toast really overpriced: €9.80 for one slice of bread with avocado?? I'm from Amsterdam and I'm used to a lot. I paid a total of €15.30, and with the tip, it was €16.83 for a very basic lunch. It's a shame, but I won't be coming back for lunch anytime soon.

It's worth stopping here for lunch. The food is good, nutritious, and healthy. The service is great. The kids' menu is a bit lacking, as they only have fries. It would be nice to see some pancakes with fruit, for example. Regardless, I recommend it.

Benji's in Slotervaart is a gem for this neighbourhood. I come quite often and often with my dog. Always welcomed, the staff is amazing, kind and accommodating. Food has always been very good, consistent quality, menu varies seasonaly. The atmosphere is always great, proper lounge place outside of busy hours and then lively and fun when it's busy. They do a great job!

We are regulars at Benji’a for so many reasons! Bali Cheese Stake is my absolutely favourite things to eat, the lushy green vibe at the restaurant calms my nervinius system and the staff is always greeting with a smile. We keep returning!

This has to be one of the most disappointing brunch places I've been to in Amsterdam. The prices are way too high for what you actually get : I got a single small waffle with a bit of "seasonal fruit" (which btw were not seasonal : strawberries are not fall fruits) and my husband had scrambled eggs, and we ended up paying around 30 euros ish for that. Definitely not worth it if you ask me. On top of that, the service was lacking. The waitresses kept mixing up the orders, bringing the wrong coffees to different tables multiple times and asking who had ordered what. It felt pretty disorganized. Overall, overpriced and underwhelming. There are much better brunch spots in Amsterdam that offer better food and friendlier service for the same (or even less) money.

The food and the coffee were excellent, very happy on that end. Only we found that everything was overpriced also compared to what you get in the plate. We paid 30€ per person for a sandwich, a juice, a coffee, and a shared french toast. Spicy bill!

First time at Benji’s and loved it, specially the location of this one in West. Love the industrial interior design and the thousand plants makes it cozy. Everything they serve looks fresh and great quality but I must say that the portions are small for the price they have (with one dish and one drink you are not filled). Still a reference place I will return to.

The food was delicious. My Caesar toast was also something a little more unusual—something I've never had before. The coffee was really good—both the pumpkin spice latte and the cappuccino. The lady at the front desk could definitely be friendlier; she had an annoyed demeanor, which I didn't like at all. I would still recommend it.

Hidden gem in the neighborhood. Amazing interior design, cozy and friendly people. We got smashed avo with scrambled eggs and bacon addition. Taste was quite okey nothing to complain. Even though it was saturday, meals are served in less than 15 mins. i d also come to work from there beside breakfast.

Staff was really friendly and cheerful. The Dishes (we ate Smashed Avo) is an average plate but it was tasty.

We had a nice brunch here, not so far from Best Western Amsterdam where we were staying. They had Bali named menus which I find exciting. The place had a nice decor, lots plants, cozy & warm. We sat outdoor during the spring, to get a bit of sun. However, staff attitude could be better, nothing serious.

The food here is really good, no complaints at all on the quality. But there’s a big issue that keeps repeating, and it needs to be addressed. The place says it’s open until 16:00, but that’s not really true in practice. The second time I went around 15:30 to order some takeaway, I was told the kitchen closes at 15:30. Fair enough, so I went back another day at 15:10, and the kitchen was already closed. I even asked what the actual kitchen closing time is so I could plan accordingly, but they couldn’t give me a clear answer. If you stop serving food well before your advertised closing time, that should be communicated clearly on your website, social media, or even Google Maps. If your business is selling food, and you say you're open until 16:00, then customers should be able to order at least takeaway until 16:00. Otherwise, the real closing time is 15:00 or earlier. It’s a pity, because the food is good, but the experience ends up being frustrating.

We wanted to have brunch here with three people on a Friday afternoon, but because the kitchen was very busy, we had to wait a bit. We were offered drinks while we waited and were given the menu so we could already see what we wanted to eat. The toast with avocado and scrambled eggs was delicious; it was also nice that the bread wasn't too hard to slice. The cinnamon roll was fine, a bit dry but still flavorful. The interior is a mix of sleek gray walls and inviting green plants. The staff is friendly, and the service—once we were able to order—was fast and good.
