Great menu with a lot of variety for breakfast / lunch options. Great vegetarian options. I really like the location - good indoor and outdoor space surrounded by greenery. Would suggest reserving as it gets very busy on the weekends.

i came here many times and food is generally good, however service seems to have gone down a lot and server decides randomly if a certain food is available to you or not. Today our sever said the dish i wanted was not available for the day but only 10 minutes later the table next to us, that came in after us was able to order. Same as at least 1 other table. So i guess i was not worthy of that dish in the eyes of your server ? This is some next level poor service and puts a very damp light on the experience. The restaurant was also half empty so was not really a case to believe it might have been noisy or a stresfull time of the day and a missunderstanding. Hope you will do better in the future.

I had brunch there, it was very clean, the staff was very attentive, and the food was delicious. I don't like poached eggs, but they gave you the option to have them cooked well, which I did. I highly recommend it.

The coffee is really bad and the food is mediocre at best. I am an Amsterdam native and can assure you there are so many better options around in the area. The value for money also isn’t great. Will not be returning.

Another soul less brunch place for instagram. Ordered food and a cappuccino. Cappuccino tasted really bad, the soy milk had a savory taste like it was really old and nobody tried it before serving. For the food? Waited for literally an hour, just watched everyone else’s orders arrive but ours. Even our friends that arrived after us received their food almost instantly while we kept waiting, clearly forgot our orders. When it arrived it was a mess. An insane amount of kadayif just thrown on top of the smallest amount of cheese and you can see in the picture that they threw a block of spice on top with like 5 pistachios. 16 euro for this sad view that was over in a few bites. The staff is nice but the owners clearly font care that they are not enough for the demand. Soul less, money grab, awful experience.

The food is delicious, warm, and very nutritious. The simple menu offers something for everyone. Service is standard for Amsterdam. People wait outside the restaurant, while inside there are a few empty tables or tables waiting to be cleaned. The terrace is large and pleasant, nestled among trees.

Just had the worst matcha of my life here😭

Located in a park, quiet and cozy! The view is very nice, I ordered a basil peach pancake, the food was amazing. With the pistachios and crunchy cookies chips, very new combo. And it’s the peach season so the fruit also tasted very amazing. But the matcha mango was lower than I expected, because the mango purée tasted bland, and when paired with matcha it didn't really have much flavor overall. I heard they changed menu from time to time, I recommend to visit here for a pleasant time with the park and the food.

Great food and great service. Everyone friendly. Poached eggs were a bit overcooked but delicious. I would suggest to put special offers on bigger paper as we found out about special dish after accidentally finding tiny piece of paper 🤣

The pesto on the sandwich was terribly bitter. It turned out to be made with arugula. It wasn't listed as such on the menu. I got a sandwich without pesto. The service was fine. The food quality wasn't great and it was very expensive.

It was tasty, but a bit small. I thought there could have been a bit more salad instead of just four leaves. My friend bought the mango toast, and I also thought there wasn't much salad on it, just two leaves. It was delicious, and the menu was innovative, offering things you wouldn't see on every menu. The service was incredibly friendly and quick.

Nice drinks, nice cheesecake. Very unfriendly staff. Keeps you waiting very long and couldn’t wait to get rid of us to close up (at 17:00).

Rarely i find some perfect restaurants from all aspects.. what i found here is warm hospitality and GREAT SOUL TOUCH FOOD. Honestly the dish i ordered i wouldn’t mind eating it for so long and everyday! Simple yet so complicated feelings with this lovely egg dish. The atmosphere here is another layer of calm and peace.. the restaurant is inside a small a secret garden that you have to visit under any conditions! I traveled a lot but simply this is EXTRAORDINARY experience.

Wait: We stood at the entrance for 10 minutes just to be seated. A waitress stared at us and wouldn't let us in. Once seated, we waited about half an hour to eat. Food: I went there several years ago to eat the Benny Boy, but when I went back a few days ago, I was extremely disappointed with the dish: it only had hash browns, a poached egg, and bacon. When I went there a few years ago, there was avocado, mushrooms, and other things… Service: I was extremely disappointed with the service: the waiters didn't seem to enjoy their jobs; they just watched us wait and were very rude. Atmosphere: The atmosphere was very friendly, the restaurant is located in the middle of a park, the interior of the restaurant is also very beautiful, but the restaurant is packed with people, we had a hard time talking without other people talking loudly next to us. I advise you to book in advance if you want to have a chance of being able to eat.

We went here for lunch. The garden looks lovely. You can sit outside on the terrace or inside. It was quite busy, and the seating was quite close together. The food was exceptional and delicious. The staff was friendly. It was a nice experience, but I'm not sure I'll return.

Great mango toasty and delicious soup and coffee

A lovely spot for dining both indoors and outdoors, perhaps after a visit to the H’art Museum. I only had to wait five minutes for a table. The service was reasonable. The food was good, but I certainly won't be back.

🪑 Setting - This café's biggest asset is its location in the "secret" courtyard, an oasis in the city. There's a lovely terrace, but you can also sit on the lawn (a few picnic tables and benches are available). We were there on a warm Saturday around 3 p.m., and there was just enough room for two people. 🧑‍🍳 Service - Nothing to complain about, but not exceptional either. 🥗 Food - A nice menu with slightly unusual dishes or classic dishes with a twist. I tried the peach pancakes, which were delicious. 🍹 Drinks - A wide selection, including homemade creations. I thought the iced coffee with pandas and vanilla (a limited-time special) was absolutely disgusting, but my dining companion enjoyed it. Then I had the iced matcha mango, which I enjoyed. 🌱 Dietary requirements - Lots of vegetarian options on the menu. 🚽 Facilities - Clean restrooms, and there's also an indoor play area for small children. 💰 Value for money - I think the food and drinks are a bit expensive, but ultimately, you're paying for the location. It's a wonderful place to relax.

Nice place in the middle of Amsterdam

Dignita uses a special Rumbaba coffee blend from Peru, which makes for delicious coffee. If you’re looking for the best cheesecake in Amsterdam, you found the place. The burnt Basque cheesecake is very creamy, but light and has a subtle floral aroma. The chicken sandwich ‘Chook Norris’ tasted bright and flavorful, crispy butter milk fried chicken, avocado, black beans, pickled vegetables, chipotle sauce on milk bread, served with tortilla chips. Unfortunately they skimped on the chicken, but the sandwich was still delicious. Dignita serves all day brunch and the menu is original and changes with the seasons. For example the lamb stew with Parmesan polenta sounds perfect on a cold winter’s day. Come here for the garden view and outside terrace when the weather’s nice. Also do not forget to make a reservation ahead of time, this place is always packed. ETA 17th July Summer Drinks o’ clock Special summer drinks menu, see photo non-alcoholic as well as alcoholic. Pandan iced latte, with vanilla and espresso, is on my to do list. The chook norris sandwich still slaps, delicious combo of flavors and textures.

We sat on the patio with our two little babies. The were very accommodating. The service was fairly good but they were pretty busy. The atmosphere was great on the outdoor patio. We thought the food was great, especially the yogurt and eggs dish they prepare (cannot recall name). The pancakes are also excellent as is the coffee. Looking forward to the next time.

Almost got the 5 stars if it wasn’t for the grumpy, rude, lazy waiter who just didn’t want to work today. The young lady was friendly and helpful but when we were going to pay, this young men (that seemed like the floor manager or something) came to us so we could pay, I ask to split the bill and pay separately since I had to pay with a business card. He refused and insisted in his refusal first saying “he doesn’t have time” then “it would have to pay the fees to the bank twice” (what if we were just two separate tables, I wonder?) I told him I will wait, he said 10 min and was literally hanging around doing stuff absolutely not urgent. We stand to stand up and go to the counter where he came and it literally took him 15 seconds to split the bill. I’m only sorry for the rest of the staff that missed the tip and the good review because of this arrogant youngster.

I really liked the atmosphere. Both indoor and outdoor areas are lovely. I do think the prices are way too high for the portion sizes. The flavours did not blow me away. The plating was nice but I felt that the quality of the food could be improved. I had the baguette with bresaola, which could have easily been elevated with a sourdough. I think it’s very basic compared to the price although the ambience was nice.

One of the best brunch restaurants I've tried in Amsterdam! 😍 It's located in a garden, the food is very clean, the service is friendly, and the seating is relaxing, away from the street and the noise. Our orders: BONNY BOY, delicious and filling. We ordered it with avocado. Fresh and delicious orange juice. Pancakes, I forgot the name, but the basil thing tasted good.

It was morning. The place was fairly crowded, so it's best to make a reservation. We arrived without a reservation, and the staff welcomed us, prepared a table for us, and gave us the option of either indoor or outdoor seating. The café is located inside a small garden, but the atmosphere is very nice and cozy. Requests: 1- Fruit Pancakes: The toppings were banana and berries, and the taste was average. 2- Fried Eggs on Toast: 6 out of 10 (you can choose the degree of doneness of the eggs). 3- Americano: It was average. 4- Fresh orange juice: Delicious. The price is very, very cheap compared to the surrounding cafés. A place worth a visit.

Landed at Dignita Hoftuin in our first day in Amsterdam for lunch. We didn't have a reservation but after waiting about 7 minutes they found a nice spot for us outside. The location on the little park is picturesque and a great place for a restaurant. Really excellent food for breakfast/lunch/brunch. I had the mango mostarda toastie (such good chili oil) and my husband had the Chook Norris. Both were excellent and very fresh. I wish we would have made our way back here again - looking forward to the next time!

They advertise they make gluten free food, but then the kitchen is too small to avoid contamination for celiac disease. I was told there was nothing safe for me even if I wrote an email well in advance about the issue to which they replied positively.

Overhyped & Overpriced First of all: Yes, the food is good! But: Everything else that makes for a good restaurant experience is, unfortunately, completely lacking. It's generally difficult to get a table without a reservation—that's just how it is with great restaurants—but: Here, waiting in line for 20 minutes isn't worth it. Once you're seated, it takes 30 minutes or more before you can order or are served. The service isn't necessarily inattentive, but it's overwhelmed. The service is also rather disinterested and tedious. Many restaurants do things differently and better. The prices are exorbitant for small portions. All in all, you're sitting in a beautiful park-like garden—but you quickly realize you've fallen into a tourist trap, since no local would likely wander into the Dignita Hoftuin. So: there are far better breakfast places in Amsterdam.

As much as we had hopes of liking the food, it failed. Service was just horrible. We waited 30 minutes for someone to take our order after we flagged them down and waited another 30 minutes for drinks, receiving a cold coffee which was clearly sitting somewhere. Food finally arrived after an hour and a half to find eggs Benedict that was over cooked, more hard boiled than poached and a sauce that was overly acidic. Safe to say, skip this location and try something more efficient.

Insane food and presentation. There is no better brunch place in Ams. This location specially has a beautiful spot. I like it when I have more than 3 items on the menu which I want and I cannot decide. My recommendation is Benny Boy!

We had been there as a group of 3 and were seated in the middle of the room. Service fast and welcoming, while the food was delicious, the drinks were a mix. Coffee was too watery, matcha was ok but the juices were really delicious. Not a place to stay longer but much more just to eat and drink. We booked well in advance. Full house may also be as it is hyped on TikTok and Instagram but would go there again. Not good accessibility for wheelchair users and one can hear the conversations of the table next but that comes with the limited space.

Make a reservation, as it’s always very busy. The location is beautiful—calm and green, a peaceful spot in the city. The interior is very cozy, and when the weather is nice, it’s amazing to sit outside and enjoy the garden. Food: It seems like the prices have gone up while the portion sizes have decreased. The Chuck Norris sandwich costs €18, which feels quite high for what you get. I had the savoury kadaif—it's a nice and unique dish, but again, I think €16 is too much. The prices of the 'Sides' are also not in proportion. 5 euro for a smashed avocado! They usually offer a wide variety of desserts, but unfortunately, there weren’t many left. We ordered the apple pie, which tasted great, but the portion was very small. Overall, it was a nice experience. However, I’d suggest reviewing the portion sizes, and the service could definitely be a bit quicker.

Can’t say much as didn’t manage to get a seat. It wasn’t that busy, but still I haven’t received a single “Hi” or “Welcome, someone will be at you shortly”. Just serious faces talking to each other or ignoring you. After few minutes I left the line, hearing other people saying “this doesn’t make sense”. Might be an isolated case, but still…

My wife and I flew in from New York, This place was on our "to do" list. We walked there from the CitizenM around the corner and have to say its an amazing place. The food and service were perfect! We are looking forward to returning to Amsterdam and stopping in for a bite to eat. Thanks all! A+

The dishes were original, but very expensive. The dish Chook Norris is a Mexican sandwich with chicken and cost €18.50, which we found very high even for Amsterdam prices. It was very tasty, but there are enough comparable options in Amsterdam that are much more affordable. The service was not great. We had to ask for attention and everything went quite slowly. It took a long time before you had a drink on the table, for example. The staff was very friendly, but unfortunately less attentive. Of course the location is fantastically beautiful, in the middle of the Hoftuin. We sat inside because of bad weather and it was very noisy there because of the crowds. Dignita had been on our list for a long time, but was still less than expected. Prices are not in proportion to the service and the food.

The food was good. Service began friendly, but after a few extra minutes at the table the staff started saying “sorry for the rush” to ask us to free the table in an unfriendly tone, and kept repeating it even after we cleared our drinks in seconds. After paying and quickly leaving the table, I went to the restroom. As I was heading out, the waitress said, “Oh, you’re still here?”—which felt quite rude. It made me wonder: once you’ve paid, are you not allowed to use the bathroom? That unfriendly treatment left us with a negative impression

The setting is very pretty. The restaurant is in a garden and is made entirely of glass, so you can see the outside. The service was friendly, although we were the only ones who didn't get a menu; we had to ask for it since we were going for brunch and the menus on the table were empty. The avocado and bacon toast was good. But the prices were very high, especially the coffees.

Such a beautiful spot! 🤩 While the Benny Boy is €16.5, you get exactly what you’re paying for. The presentation and the taste are 10/10! You will need to reserve as it gets really busy even during the week. The only downside, was that when it was busy, there was not enough staff for the volume of customers. We waited about 45 minutes for our order, this included waiting for our coffee. We then had to remind one of the waiters about our order as we presumed they had forgotten which was the case. I would definitely recommend this place for the food and the atmosphere, but I hope the slow service was just unusual for that particular day.

Food is great and with good weather there is no better location for brunch. Service could have been better/ faster, not because they did not want to, but was understaffed that day. Overall they were still very helpful/ friendly.

Located in a very cozy park in waterlooplein, this brunch spot is one of the prettiest in Amsterdam. They have very interesting variations of food, benny boy being my favorite. I definitely recommend. The savory kadaif was nice, its a good choice for vegetarians. The staff is helpful and friendly, however the service was unfortunately very slow. It was a very busy day. I would definitely recommend checking this place out if its not very crowded.

We visited here on a Friday afternoon. There was a short queue for walk ins, however we prebooked which is what I would recommend you do. Food was delicious and sitting outside was beautiful especially as it was warm and sunny

After 50 min waiting for our order, the waiter told us that kitchen lost our order ticket so they would start making just now. When we got it, we noticed both of our eggs were overcooked and they were not even close to poached eggs. I should have refused taking it but we waited so long so there wasn’t any other option for us at that time. The fact that they offered us two free drinks doesn’t make this up. Not recommended at all. Edit: I am offered 16,5 eur discount coupon in the end.

Delicious food, occasionally something new on the menu that you didn't know yet and above all: always really nice service. Extra blanket: no problem. Extra ice cubes because someone is not doing well - of course! They really think along with you here. And yes - duh, everyone definitely wants to make a reservation 😁 or just go at 9 in the morning! Lovely ambience and great food!

In- uitgang oogt en is ongastvrij. Je moet je maar binnen wurmen langs smalle deur en troep. Gewenste gerecht is om 12 uur al niet meer verkrijgbaar. Personeel spreekt alleen Engels. Op tafel staan verdorde bloemen in een vaasje zonder water. Kortom: ballentent!

Invited by my daughter for a Mother's Day lunch arrangement. She had made a reservation via the site with the clear note that she would like to sit in the garden. Upon arrival we had to wait outside in line for fifteen minutes and when it was our turn the reservation could not be found and my patient daughter made an attempt to help the boy without glasses by showing him the reservation confirmation, which was not appreciated. Then put at a table inside because outside was full, the attitude was typical of a pity. We received a card without explanation even though a package had been booked. It didn't happen either and it didn't really matter what we wanted, maybe we wanted to order something else in addition to the arrangement. Illogical story and not very friendly. After expressing our surprise at the entire course of events (i.e. not feeling welcome, not a nice approach and not being sorry for the inconvenience) and having raised this with the boy with glasses asking for information about the arrangement (who turned out not to speak Dutch, so I asked if I wanted to tell my story again in English), the boy without glasses came by to let me know that he had already said that sitting outside was not possible, so there was no point in asking a colleague about this (rude because I came asking for an explanation of the Mother's Day package), luckily a friendly girl came to ask us what exactly we wanted. Very long story short: food excellent, hospitality downright worthless. Advice: if you offer a package, inform your staff in advance, this will help customer satisfaction. We heard several guests around us end up in the same discussion. Bad business and constant lines in front of the door with endlessly waiting guests. Too bad because the place is great and the cuisine is excellent (great rhubarb dessert with caramel) but we will not come back here. You know, something about experience?
