Really good food. I had the eggstraordinary which was close to perfection with my only gripe being that the brioche bun could have been a bit more fresh but that’s not saying that it wasn’t good. The french toast pieces were light but still full of flavour. You can tell that this toast was not drowned in an egg bath. Solid 9/10

I WAS a huge Benji's Fan until today! I sometimes pass by since I live in the West neighbourhood and usually take an iced Strawberry Matcha Latte with coconut milk to go. Usually I paid around 7,30 €, which is already pricy but today you charged 8,30€!?WHY? I can understand that to go is a bit higher but 8,30€? This was the last time I come to Benji's and I used to eat in every of your beautiful locations...

I heard good things about Benji’s and heard it was a good brunch place, walking in I had high hope. It was busy, and we were asked to join the waiting list, meanwhile we asked if we could sit at the bar and look at the menu. We were told we couldn’t order until we had a table. With less than 1.5 hours of closing we were keen to be seated and order. The hostess was a bit slow as despite a few tables being released it took a bit of time for us to be seated, however another host kindly said we could order before getting the table so that helped alleviate some time pressure. The food was okay, wasn’t piping hot, the Parmesan and truffle fries weren’t hot, a bit disappointing. Yet to find a quality brunch place in Oud-West. Worth a try but not likely to go back.

Loved the atmosphere and my coffee - the service was a bit slow but to be expected at brunch. Looking forward to trying more on the menu!

We went to Benji’s for brunch and it was a great choice. The food is amazing and prepared with care. We tried the eggstraordinary and the smoked salmon bun, both were great. There’s a lot of “add-on” options but, unfortunately, not the option of changing the items without paying (for example, I wanted to take the bacon out and add truffle mushrooms instead. Even though the price was the same, I would still have to pay the mushrooms as an add-on). We also tried the truffle potatoes and the pistachio roll and both were delicious. The space is lovely, full of plans and natural light. The employees seemed a bit lost in space but were kind and ready to help. Thank you for the experience!

20' waiting is way worth than ever.

Service was very disappointing. Our server seemed uninterested, slow, and even forgot an item. Mistakes happen, but this time it really missed the mark. The food was tasty but not hot, which was a shame. The kitchen staff seemed friendly, and the girl cleaning up our drinks was lovely. Overall, good food but poor service, and that can really make or break a place.

Great place for brunch and lunch. They serve brunch till 4pm. We had Eggstraordinary (scrambled egg on bun) and mushroom truffle scrambled egg. Both were good and highly recommended. Staff are very friendly, and service can be slightly faster!

10/10, and I'm a picky eater. I usually find crispy chicken sandwiches disappointing because they often have dry buns. I asked for extra sauce: no more! Delicious beyond expectations!

The food was good, but the service was terrible. Despite it being quiet, we received very little help, and I had to go to the bar myself to order. When you tell someone something isn't good, you get a rude response. Such a shame!

We had breakfast; the food was good and the location was beautiful. The staff was friendly; the only downside was the 30-minute wait, even though the place was almost empty.

The food was fine. There wasn't much choice, but they really need to speed up the service. It was all incredibly slow. I waited an hour for a sandwich and another half hour for a simple scone.

Super cool place with delicious brunch options! They are laptop friendly and have specific quite areas where you can work and eat The stuff is friendly and nice, we stayed there until the closing time. The prices are bit high but we stayed there for 3 hours

For a well-filled açaí bowl, Benji’s is not the place to go. I was honestly very disappointed. For €17 you expect a well-filled, tasty bowl, but that was not the case at all. The açaí base was watery, the amount of granola was minimal and although the menu said it would contain banana, I didn’t get any banana. There were a few slices of strawberry on top, and that was it. Really poor for that price. Maybe other dishes on the menu are better, I don’t rule that out, but the açaí bowl is really not a success in my opinion. The price-quality ratio is simply zero.

We went to their Oud West branch for lunch. Beautiful setting, you can sit inside and on the terrace. Their menu offers many delish dishes. Tried the Bali cheese steak, which was a true flavor bomb, higly recommended. Service was on point. Would visit again.

This all day brunch place is one of my favorites in Amsterdam! They have three locations and each location feels like a cozy green oasis, blending concrete, marble, and lots of plants—creating an industrial yet tropical vibe :) We went to the one in West where they have a lovely terrace outside next to the canal. They offer a variety of dishes: vegan, vegetarian, gluten‑friendly options, you name it! They have bowls, wraps, buns, bao, and acai and rainbow salads. And all so tasteful! They also have very nice coffee and cocktails. The staff is always very friendly when we come and the service is quite fast as well. I also would say that the prices are fair for what you get.

The staff was very kind, welcoming and caring. Located near the canal in a peaceful neighborhood, they have outside tables to catch some sun. The menu is not super broad, but the chicken Katsu was delicious.

Stood waiting for 5 minutes for someone to help us, no hello, no eye contact. Walked by with coffee to serve it at a table & didn't look at us. A "Hi, I will come back to you/ will help you if I bring this coffee" would have been nice. 0 service.

Hands down the best place for breakfast, the avocado salmon bread is incredible, really fresh stuff and the staff is super polite aswell. The amount of food was quite alot, well priced!

We had the truffle mushroom eggs and the English scone. Both were delicious. We paired it with a strawberry iced matcha and a cappuccino.

Super friendly staff, tasty food, and great ambiance. But portions are too small. I understand it’s high quality but if a 16€ hangover lunch (excluding drinks) won’t fill me up, then I’m not sure I’d recommend to sb that is hungry.

Food was really nice, we had truffle eggs, chicken katsu and french toast. However, when we ordered the french toast we waited for very long and figured out the kitchen was not informed about it.

This place serves delicious dishes. The menu is not just breakfast but more than that. We went to Benjis west. Ordered salmon avocado teriyaki, mango hummus, miso caesar and a scone. For drinks- Matcha latte, cappuccino which was good. The sad part is there was a long queue to grab a seat and there was no reservation online for less than 8 ppl. That was a a big turnoff.

A very delicious restaurant. I recommend them. I ordered an egg sandwich with mushrooms, which was very delicious. I also ordered falafel with sauces, which were delicious. I also ordered meat with caramelized onions, which was delicious.

Ordered acaï bowl and scrambled eggs toast with avocado. The food was excellent, however we had to wait a lot to even get the menu.

We visited Benji’s around 2 PM and were seated right away with no wait, as the place was quite calm. However, it took 15-20 minutes before anyone took our order. Once placed, the food and drinks arrived quickly. A second drink order was delayed again, despite the server walking past us several times. That said, the food was absolutely excellent! Fresh, flavorful, and well-presented. Worth a visit, but service could be more attentive.

This cafe by the canal in Amsterdam was a great spot for breakfast. We had the Bali Cheese Steak and Smash Avocado, and both were fresh and tasty. The relaxed setting by the water made the experience even better. A nice place to start the day.

Good brunch place, with loads of options for scrambled eggs and brioche sandwiches. We tried the Bali Cheese Stake bun and the Salmon Avocado Bun and both of them were good. The atmosphere was very nice as well. A chill place to grab brunch if you are in the area!

Nice spot. Very yup. On the expensive side and not very special. Small but nice menu. Even when the place is full, it is not too busy, which is very nice.

Smashed avo sandwich with egg and bacon was EXTREMELY LIT. Iced americano was in the perfect small size cup, I don’t need a litre of coffee. Extra points for flat lid and extra ice!!

We visited on Saturday around 12:30 and had to wait around 10 minutes for a table. The service was extraordinarily nice and our food came very quickly. The truffle scrambled eggs were delicious! Much better experience than we had at Benjis in nieuw west.

Awesome place to hang out with friends on a lazy Sunday morning for brunch. They have nice seating with the view of the lake. Loved the vibe as well as their food. Highly recommend their bun sandwiches . They also have some nice variety of baked goods like scones and cinnamon rolls which we enjoyed with our tea.

Green and aesthetic café with a good selection of dishes in connection with brunch. The food was neatly and decoratively arranged on the plate, which was an experience in itself. With this, the waiter was also welcoming and energetic, which had an uplifting effect on the mood. However, the place felt a bit far from the center, therefore 4 to 4.5 stars.

I had to throw up 3 times after eating there.

One of my favorite addresses of the stay ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ it was delicious, I wanted to take my whole menu. On the other hand, minus point for the scone, I was a little disappointed.

We had a mixed experience visiting this restaurant in Amsterdam. We ordered two burgers, which were absolutely convincing in terms of taste and quality. The burgers were excellently prepared, which justified the higher price that is typical for the area, at least from a culinary point of view. However, the organization of the service team appeared to be in need of improvement. After waiting in line for 45 minutes and with no indication of possible seating, we watched as a group of five to six people without a reservation were given priority and seated directly at a table outside. We were not offered the opportunity to take this place, which left a bad aftertaste and raised doubts about customer focus. A lack of coordination was also noticeable in interactions among employees. It seemed as if there was a lack of clear distribution of tasks, which gave the service an unprofessional touch. Unfortunately, the quality of the food is not fully exploited as the overall experience suffers. Conclusion: If you are looking for excellent burgers and are willing to pay the price, you will definitely get your money's worth here. However, management should urgently rethink guest service processes and prioritization in order to be able to offer a truly well-rounded experience.

The salmon avocado teriyaki toast is super delicious! The place is nicely decorated, nice place to have lunch. Prices are pretty average for such a place, a bit on the expensive side for a toast/sandwich.

Love this place in the neighborhood: lovely unusual dishes with Korean twist, super tasty granola. But I have concerns over sustainability. Plastic stirrers and paper straws are used in big quantities. I assume there is a plan to phase out these single use items and wonder when it will be done?

When arriving at Benji’s there were no seats available - so we got offered a table to wait outside which was very nice. It took only a few minutes for a table to get available. We were offered to order a drink while waiting, which was great service. The food at Benji’s is amazing! The French toast, truffel mayonaise fries and Rendang burger are amazing. Wonderful place for lunch; certainly coming back!
