Spicy chicken sandwich with only 3 small pieces of chicken on it (not even enough to cover a quarter of the bun), plus lots of sauce, even more lettuce and cucumber..... paid a lot..... very dissatisfied.

Sandwich poorly filled. Ordered the spicy chicken sandwich. 3 pieces of chicken and a lot of sauce in between. So I paid a lot.

Normally the food is always good here, but today there was mold on my cheese. I reported it at the counter, and she immediately took a whole piece of cheese out of the fridge with a large patch of mold on it... her only reaction was: thanks for reporting it, no apology or anything... for now, this is the last time I'll be eating there.

Following my previous review about a sandwich with moldy cheese, here is an update; Shandar has apologized and the issue has been resolved! Great!

Paid €6.50 for a carpaccio wrap. The wrap was very small; you pay a lot in proportion to what you get. And there was a piece of plastic in the wrap! This is really unacceptable. I won't be coming back here. Otherwise, the place itself looks nice and tidy.

The food was deliciously fresh 🥐 and the service was fine. However, the atmosphere in the place was disappointing 😐, a bit unwelcoming. There is definitely room for improvement in that regard. The quality of the pastries 🍰 and the friendliness of the staff make up for a lot! 👍

If I order a sandwich without sauce and something goes wrong, fine, but I'm certainly not going to order a new one. Not coming back when you indicate you want to... last time at Bakkerij Bart for us... Really not polite.

Had a sandwich here the other day. Was greeted by a friendly girl with tattoos behind the counter who was very helpful. Big thumbs up to her!

Good coffee but the staff could consider a warmer climate

Birds keep coming in, and nothing is done about it. They constantly flutter in your face while you're eating. Unfortunately, this happens every day, and I went 2-3 times a week. Horrible.

Always free refill of coffee/tea, except take away and specials. Not enough tables available for the amount of visitors and no prices on the menu cards, even though the prices are good. Not too expensive. It is always very crowded here, but staff is polite. Hopefully they make it more wheelchail accessible in the future.

I just paid €7.50 for a ham sandwich where there was absolutely no ham at all. It was just a very thin layer of ham and a mess of lettuce. When I went back to ask if that was the intention, the guy said yes, that's how much we put on it. So if you're looking for a lettuce sandwich with a hint of ham, this is highly recommended.

There are three people making sandwiches, and if you only need bread, you can wait a long time. A girl selling bread would be helpful, and if there are no customers, she can help her colleagues. The old woman in the shop doesn't even look up. This has happened so often that I just leave after a long wait, but this was the last time for me.

The service at this shop is terrible, especially on Saturdays. Because I only come for the plain bread, I always go well before lunchtime. Not too early either, because it's still in the oven! I went back at 10:30 for cheese rolls and a few rolls. There was no one in line for sandwiches; two customers ahead of me were waiting for the plain bread. Two women were behind the counter. Two customers ahead of me were helped quickly, but then one after the other came in for sandwiches, which were served immediately, leaving me to stew in my own juices. Even the remark, "Ladies, I've been here a while," was met with a glazed look. I waited a bit to see if the penny would finally drop, but when the next customer who came in was helped immediately with the sandwiches, I walked out.

Last week I went to baker Bart. Friendly service, only my sister's sandwich was partly burnt. Not nice, but didn't say anything (it can happen) so I didn't eat the whole sandwich. I had a healthy sandwich, which was very tasty (it's strange that I paid the same for a large baguette as for a small bun). Later I went to get another sandwich to eat on the go. When the employee took the sandwich out of the oven I thought I could see that it was quite burnt. I checked it later and indeed it was 1/3 really black. Strange that this is given away in my opinion. I went back but had to wait a very long time (it was quite busy for 2 people of staff, so I understood). I indicated that my sandwich was burnt and without checking I got a new one. Well solved, but strange since I think she must have seen it when giving it away. What I found very unhygienic was not changing gloves and holding cash several times. Sandwiches and salads were prepared with the same gloves that had just been used to steal money😅🤯. There are also a huge number of pigeons inside (also at the food areas). Perhaps keep the doors closed and find another way to ventilate. Overall, sweet girls, but not hygienic and not critical of the food that is given away.

Today I had a delicious, richly filled sandwich! The staff was very friendly and everything looked neat.

I assume that my next visit will be to my complete satisfaction, because previous experiences with this business were fine. Mediocre sandwiches, tables were not cleaned, there were no towels or soap replenished in the toilet. Dirty place.

Sandwiches and rolls are freshly prepared and are really tasty. But expensive. The staff are friendly and bring the order to the table. The only problem is the cleanliness. It would be nice if the tables were wiped down every now and then and everything wasn't full of crumbs and grease stains. Unfortunately, the toilet is so dirty that as a woman you wouldn't even want to squat over it. Furthermore, there are incorrect opening times online and on the store door that do not match the monitors in the oven. And Google refuses to change.

Vandaag hebben we 2 broodjes warme beenham in de zaak gegeten. Wát een tegenvaller😪 er zat bijna geen beenham op. En dat voor € 6,75 per stuk! Echt schandalig hoe karig de broodjes belegd zijn! Hier komen we niet meer terug. Ik heb mn revieuw aangepast naar 4 sterren want de eigenaar heeft het keurig opgelost! Klasse! Ik hoop écht dat de broodjes in de toekomst beter belegd gaan worden.

Een broodje carpaccio meegenomen maar nooit meer! Een klant voor mij gaf contact geld en dat nam ze aan met haar blote handen. Daarna was ik aan de beurt en wilde graag een belegd broodje. Ze belegde mijn broodje met haar BLOTE HANDEN zonder handschoenen of iets en het broodje is kadig belegd. Alleen sla carpaccio en saus… nooit meer hier!! Mijn recensie pas ik aan, gelijk reactie gehad en het is zeer goed opgepakt! Echt een top service van de baas van Bakker Bart Hoorn. Bedankt 👍🏻
