Bakkerij Otten, Huesmolen in Wijk 20 Risdam-Zuid

I got some Moorkoppen here this week; they tasted fine, but they were really a lot smaller than normal, and I still paid full price. Shrinkflation... what a shame.

The service/friendliness is very poor. I enter and am followed by a woman who constantly asks if I want anything, asking why else am I there? The bread was also mediocre today. I've never felt so uncomfortable at a bakery; this was a terrible experience. Perhaps the woman was having an off day, but I expect a proper professional attitude to avoid projecting that to my customers.

I'm a bit fed up with Otten. The price of bread has skyrocketed; whole wheat bread isn't as expensive anywhere else in Hoorn. The service and friendliness are very inconsistent, and the freshness of the bread also fluctuates. It's usually good on the day of purchase, but it dries out quickly after freezing or storing. I now buy my bread cheaper and fresher at another bakery or at the market.

I gave myself a treat: I ordered a Black Forest cherry loaf for the holidays... This loaf deserves to be called a culinary loaf; it's so delicious... And when you find one of those Amarenakers, ohhhh... As if an angel is peeing on your tongue... 💞 23-12-23

Unfortunately, I don't see my previous review on Google reviews of bakery Otten Huesmolen. Another attempt to show that things are not all that hygienic. This insect was in a pre-baked sourdough baguette. Still no apology from the staff when they showed us the bread with insects.

Goeie bakkerij je mag online zelf aangeven wat voor taart je wilt , voor mijn dochter heerlijk verjaardag taart op tijd gemaakt alleen hadden 1 jaar op gezet was ze niet :( 😞 verder lekker gebakjes jammer niet meer soorten

Goeie bakker! Ze hebben heel lekker brood. Op donderdag altijd actie 3 halen is twee betalen.

Ik had voor de verjaardag van mijn dochter een taart besteld. De taart was niet al te ingewikkeld en had wat figuurtjes van marsepein. Op het afgesproken tijdstip - dag van verjaardagsfeest - kwam ik de taart ophalen. De mevrouw in de winkel wist nergens van! De taart stond dus niet zoals afgesproken klaar. Na wat rondbellen door mevrouw bleek dat ze nog met de taart bezig waren in een andere vestiging. Dus dan maar naar de andere winkel toe. Daar aangekomen moest ik nog een tijdje wachten. Gelukkig kwam de taart dan toch! Maar.... de taart was absoluut zwaar beneden verwachting. De marsepein figuurtjes waren duidelijk snel afgeraffeld, de tekst met slagroom aangebracht, dus dat was vrij snel onleesbaar. Kortom: eerst in de stress omdat men nergens af wist van een taart, ergens anders dan afgesproken moeten ophalen na enige tijd wachten, en artistiek gezien was de kwaliteit om te huilen! De taart zelf was wel lekker maar viel vooral wat uiterlijk en afwerking betreft dus behoorlijk tegen, te meer gezien de toch wel forse prijs.
