Douglas Delights has retired. The pastries were beyond delicious. Owner and pastry chef Carle Douglas personally managed the business, guaranteeing top quality. We'll miss him.

So happy to have discovered this bakery, this is the kind of sourdough bread we were looking for and is difficult to find in the Netherlands! Will come back regularly! :) And on top of that they have a variety of other nice products such as Alon's pickles, kimchi, coffee beans etc.!

I visited the aforementioned store. There were three saleswomen present at the time. Two were helping a customer, and one was standing in the back chatting with other employees. I literally waited five minutes to pay. The saleswoman chatting in the back saw me several times but ignored me. At that point, I left the products at the cash register and left. Apparently, chatting with the employees was more important than selling the products.

Friendly, respectful, and helpful staff! It's wonderful to see a small business that still connects with customers! And where you don't have to wait in line for expensive bread, etc., etc., without having to wait in contactless lines.

Besides looking absolutely beautiful, the cake was also delicious! I also thought the price was definitely worth it for the quality you received. I would definitely order a cake from them again!
