Bakker van Maanen in Binnenstad-Noord

I got cakes here for a birthday party and they were a hit! The bread is really good too.

I can't say I ate anything, because I didn't get any. We had to reorder four times, and when we got to the checkout, they assumed we'd eaten it. The receipt didn't even show everything we'd ordered. People around us ordered sandwiches, and we ordered warm-up rolls so we could get them quickly. This wasn't the solution at all; we never got the sandwiches. People around us kept getting things, and we didn't get anything at all. The Chai was also undrinkable. It tasted like milk. Not a pleasant place.

Great bakery, delicious cakes and bread. The apple turnovers are also highly recommended. A perfect place to pick up something tasty to go with your coffee. It's a very small bakery, so the selection is quite limited.

Kinder Sinterklaas cupcakes are really too old. One or two days is fine. But they were really dried out, hard cupcakes. Not very fun and certainly not tasty. Luckily, the bread was good, as always.

A heavenly place to have breakfast in the summer! The view, the food, the coffee, all of them are AMAZING. The staffs are all super friendly and deft workers. I love it very much.

Gezellig zaak om koffie te drinken of een broodje te eten. Wel een beetje rommelig (zaterdag) en de prijs is aan de hoge kant. Koffie is wel lekker, trouwens gevak ook.

Gezellig en mooi ingericht, vriendelijk personeel en thee of koffie met gebak naar keuze voor €4,50. Aanrader!

Bread is quite expensive here, and usually the staff look like their don't want to be there at all. But they're sausage rolls aren't too bad...
