Lovely Turkish bakery with a fantastic Turkish breakfast. The eggs with sucuk were perfectly prepared and incredibly flavorful. The fresh bread completed the experience perfectly. Everything was fresh, well-presented, and prepared with great care. Friendly service and a cozy atmosphere. I will definitely be coming back here more often. The best sandwiches in Nijmegen, fresh every day. I go there very often. Ferhat, the owner, is super nice and helpful. You get served quickly; they have hot and cold sandwiches. The doner is the best I have ever eaten. A solid 10 from me!!!

A place like this hardly exists anymore. A small, traditional Turkish bakery run by a lady who welcomes you every time as if you were family or her son who is chatting non-stop. Simply warm and welcoming, without any fuss. The bread comes fresh from the oven, the lahmacun is thin and crispy as it should be, optionally with grilled chicken. Everything tastes just like it would at someone's home, made with love. No big chain, no fancy concept, just authentic and damn good. I come here almost every week and I won't be changing that anytime soon.

Freshly baked bread... maybe it was yesterday, but not today. Don't buy bread on the weekends. They're not very strict with hygiene rules. They're cheap.

What a discovery: Bakkerij Bereket. I recently had a chicken döner sandwich here, and I can say without shame… it was the best of my life. The bread was fresh and perfectly crispy, the chicken was deliciously seasoned and juicy, and everything was generously topped without being messy. Every bite felt like a small victory over all the mediocre sandwiches I'd had before. The service was fast and friendly, and the atmosphere warm and inviting. This is the kind of place where you "just grab something quick" and leave with a smile and plans to come back tomorrow. If you love a truly good sandwich, this is the place to be. First time at Bereket. Friendly service and a pleasant atmosphere. The owner chatted happily while you placed your order. The lahmacun was well-filled and quite filling. Very good quality and deliciously fresh; it was delicious! We also had the baklava. It's so delicious it's almost impossible to stop eating. Thank you for the friendly service and the delicious food. We had a delicious and cozy meal at Ferhat! What a wonderful selection of breads and treats to take home, but they can also prepare anything for you. We've never had such a delicious lachmacun before. Ferhat also surprised us with a delicious köfte burger. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Ferhat has a wonderful sense of humor, which definitely adds to the atmosphere. There's a constant flow of (regular) customers. We'll definitely be back.

Ferhat's cabaret is almost as good as his köfte sandwiches. Fresh bread, lahmacun, lentil soup—it's like being at your aunt's in Turkey.

You go to the bakery to buy fresh bread, and when you get home, you realize it smells musty. I'd understand if it were a grocery store, but this happens in a bakery... Congratulations to the lovely old lady who showed the skill to sell a product that's been sitting on the shelf for so long. You earned 10 euros. You must have become rich with that money, by violating the rights of others...

This bakery is truly my favorite baker in all of Nijmegen and the surrounding area. What can I say from all over the Netherlands. My roots are in Bosnia. When I walk in, I am welcomed with a lot of love and the freshly baked smell of fresh rolls greets me. It feels like I'm stepping into my own culture on a mini vacation, only at the local bakery. The owner is a really sweet, warm man who remembers everything about every order and really makes it a party for the customer. He is a fantastic cook and makes the sandwiches (also fresh) with a friendly smile and you can make it as personal as you want. My personal favorite and recommended is the burek with spinach and feta. Not only does it taste exactly like my own nana makes it, but it is also cut very sweetly into 3 pieces because I liked that and the owner also remembered that. You taste the love in the food. In short, if you want to experience a fantastic culture of friendliness and quality fresh food in your own country, then it is definitely worth a visit.

They recently started offering leaf döner (yaprak döner). Not comparable to the common döner that is made from minced meat. This one is way too good. Dürüm bread, lettuce, cucumber, tomato, garlic sauce and sambal. Highly recommended! 🤌 After 11 a.m. they hang up the döner skewer and after a few hours it's already gone. Unfortunately they don't sell this on Sundays.
