The burgers are incredibly good, but the portion size is very small and the meat is too thin, which is a shame because it's quite tasty. The price is therefore a bit high. The best fries I've ever had, though.

A real hidden gem!! Whether you like burgers or donuts, this is the place to be!

The burgers were full of flavor and juicy (#1 and #2). The sweet potato fries were crunchy, though a bit on the salty side. Less salt would have tasted great too. The wide variety of donuts were gorgeously decorated and oh so sweet. Our favorite would have to be the.. classic glazed version (goes well with a black coffee) and the 'Rafaello' one as well since we love coconut. If you don't have a sweet tooth you'll get one here.

Tastiest donuts ever. I haven't lived in Nijmegen for 3 years, but every time I'm there I have to get donuts at Darko (partly at the request of my family). Top price/quality, delicious flavors and friendly service.

Got a delicious smashed burger and ate it at home. Even though the fries are delivered in a separate container without a lid (just a napkin and a cold can of cola on top), they are still reasonably warm when you get home. The burger was delicious and well balanced, but when we got home there was little left of the crispy/burned pieces that you normally expect with a smashed burger, but that is of course also due to the sauce/peanut butter and not eating it immediately. I will definitely come back for a burger, hopefully the extraction system will work a little better, because everything smells like food, even my can of coke haha.

I came for donuts, I left with food for home as well. Long story short I drove 20km to try them out. I am so happy I did. The best burgers I have ever eaten. The bun it's so soft, the patties are amazing. (I recommend nr 9 if you like chicken and nr 2 for beef) The fries were fresh and tasty (had a lot of spices, not the normal boring salty one's) oh and the sauces are special as well. Coming to donuts, they are just a guilty pleasure. My favorite was the cronut cookie dough but my girlfriend preferred the biscoff one. If you haven't tried them yet I don't know what you are waiting for. They are worth every cent P. S. The owner was really friendly as well

Had delicious smashed burgers at Darkos! The burger was very tasty, with fresh ingredients and a good balance of flavors. The staff was also friendly and hospitable, which made the experience complete. A little tip: it might be an idea not to put sauce on the bottom of the sandwich. This way the bun remains firmer and does not become too soft. You can also choose which sauce you want on your burger. Fries could use a little less salt/powder. All in all, definitely recommended and I would love to come back!

I was introduced to Darko during the summer parties, delicious burgers. Darko has now moved to a larger building and sells burgers/fries and donuts and has returned. Delicious smash burgers with tasty cheese and a surprising ingredient with peanut butter! In addition, delicious fries with herbs and good mayonnaise. And of course I took a donut home for dessert. Beautiful case with a fresh look. Darko keep it up!

What I personally love is that the donuts are fresh and the fillings taste like cherry, raspberry, chocolate, vanilla, pistachio and not just like a sweet, greasy thing. Cozy little Donut shop (that also sells hamburgers) with a wide choice of flavors. Very friendly and patient help from the enthusiastic owner. My son thought the Oreo donut was “Heavenly” and I also enjoyed the Blueberry cheesecake flavor. There are 2 small benches in front of the door where you can enjoy them if you can't wait until you get home

During the summer parties, the whole of Nijmegen is full of overpriced but cheap food serving food trucks and stalls. Summer party prices here (slightly more expensive) but delicious! Tasty burgers (only on weekends) and the donuts are also excellent. Nice people, cozy atmosphere
