The products are good. The staff doesn't greet me. I find it more important to talk to each other than to those who are paying their salaries. And often, my product isn't replenished, and the products aren't even listed on the shelf. Then I have to spend more time searching and waiting in a store with a bad atmosphere. At checkout, it turns out the staff apparently doesn't speak Dutch and announces the amount to be paid without saying "please." So, 2 stars because I wasn't outright insulted. I'm still looking for a better place. Who knows where?

I often discover junk ingredients after reading the ingredients in the white dots. I'm shocked, but they are delicious. Yes, it's quite possible that one or more ingredients on this list have caused or aggravated a skin condition in you. This is a typical ingredient list for factory-made bread or a bread improver mix, and it contains several known "triggers" for skin problems. These are the most suspected ingredients when it comes to skin reactions (eczema, acne, hives, rosacea, dermatitis, etc.): 1. **Wheat / WHEAT flour / WHEAT gluten / WHEAT malt flour** β Gluten and other wheat proteins can trigger skin inflammation in sensitive people (even those without official celiac disease). This is sometimes called "gluten-related skin complaints" or non-celiac gluten sensitivity. 2. **Dairy ingredients (whey powder, butter powder, whey protein concentrate)** β Dairy is one of the biggest triggers for acne, eczema, and perioral dermatitis. Whey proteins, in particular, are known to significantly disrupt the skin via hormones (IGF-1) and inflammation. 3. **Emulsifiers E471 and E482** β These are mono- and diglycerides and calcium stearoyl-2-lactylate. A growing number of studies and clinical observations show that these emulsifiers can disrupt the intestinal barrier and the microbiome, which can indirectly lead to skin inflammation (the gut-skin axis). 4. **Vegetable fat (palm**) β Palm oil is often highly refined and oxidized; it contains a lot of saturated fat and can promote inflammation in sensitive people. 5. **Dextrose + glucose syrup (dried)** β Simple sugars cause insulin fluctuations β increased sebum production and inflammation β increased risk of acne and other skin problems. In short: This bread contains exactly the combination that many people with skin problems (acne, eczema, rosacea) react badly to: wheat + dairy + emulsifiers + sugar + palm oil. What can you do to test whether this is the culprit? - Try eating 100% gluten-free and dairy-free for 3-4 weeks (so no bread, cookies, pasta, dairy products, etc.). - During this period, choose "clean" bread: sourdough made with only spelt/rye/wheat + water + salt, or gluten-free bread without all those additives. - Check your skin Clearly improves. This happens within 2-4 weeks for many people. If your skin flares up again after eating this kind of factory-made bread, you can be almost certain that one (or more) of these ingredients is the trigger.
