Bakkerij Rutten in Wijk 11 Venlo-Centrum

Was completely ignored by the staff. Instead of saying hello properly, they just quoted the price and walked away. Very strange. Besides that, the rolls have burnt tips. And that for such expensive rolls. Scandalous.

When we visit Venlo, we always stop here for a saucijzenbroodje and kaasbroodje. Delicious and warmed on request. The shop is always busy, with friendly service.

The tarts taste good, but there's a limited selection of pastries overall. There is, however, a large selection of breads and rolls, including sweet ones, such as those with raisins. What I don't like at all is that the waitress took my two tarts from the display case with her fingers and placed them in the bag (today around 12:40 p.m.). I find that unhygienic! After all, they also accept and dispense money with the same hands.

Delicious bread and lots of choice.

Beautiful display, friendly saleswoman. I bought a sweet bread with nuts – very delicious. I'll gladly come back on my next visit to Venlo.

By far the best bread baker in Venlo

Tasty food and friendly service

Picked up a nice surprise package from To Good To Go.

Delicious bread! I only like the hard rolls a little less! Just crumpets!

Friendly staff. Delicious bread and highly recommended: cherry cookies!!

The tastiest bread from Venlo and the surrounding area.

Nice place, friendly staff and customer friendly. 💐

Participated in Too good to go. Very friendly saleswoman and a wide range of bread and delicacies was ready. TOP!

I do not get why this bakery is having so many stars. Maybe the personeel is nice to locals. Here is what I noticed: - The price/performance ratio for the bread is horrible. - Super unfriendly & unmotivated personnel. My spoken Dutch is fine and everywhere I go it is appreciated that I try my best to integrate. However, in this bakery, they just switch to German because they hear I have a German accent. I continue in my best Dutch possible. How am I supposed to learn otherwise? Duh! Not buying there anymore and not recommending it to anybody.

The best real bakery in Venlo and the surrounding area.

Super tasty bread like in the old days. Friendly service. Regularly new types of bread for variety. Just nice

A top baker. Coincidentally, I took delicious raisin rolls today. Also a sourdough raisin bread with nuts. Incredibly delicious (bella Italia). Recommended. We were helped friendly and professionally by the employee in this nice store. Reasonably accessible, but narrow, which is compensated by an entrance and an exit.

Good bakery and delicious products

Safe at the bakery Rutten!!! Great Anouk 👍👍👍

very good bakery in the heart of Venlo. I'll just say one thing... Cottage cheese buns

A good baker. One of the last in the city center...

Good and friendly service. Tasty bread.

What a great artisan baker. With an extremely wide range of delicious (special) bread and other delicacies. Certainly worth mentioning are the employees in the store, what knowledge they have about their breads, but even more important is their helpfulness. In short, highly recommended!!!

Unprecedented wide range of the most delicious brown breads.

Delicious bread and pastries, nice service, love to come there.

Today I visited this Bakary and I did not felt like a customer. There was no welcome, no hello. I had just finished my night shift and was in a need of a quick snack. Instead of a quick snack I waited 2 min for the ladies to stop talking to each other. The ladies were more concern with my look then anything else. On top of this I heard them commenting on bad pronunciation of ''fijne dag'' and laughing behind my back. Needless to say I am not very impressed by the Dutch peasantry. In this post-gender world, being a poor white male you will face a lot of discrimination. I was wrong to expect more from the Dutch, especially from the unenlightened dutch peasants of Venlo. By the way the worstenbroodje was old and had a funny taste. Never going there again.

Delicious breads and pastries...craftsmanship

A real bakery with delicious bread and super friendly staff.

No recommendation bread was not fresh

This is so nice if you live in Venlo itself, there are 5 bakeries within walking distance. Awesome! Nice freshest. Beautiful girls. And you can already smell the freshness when you walk down the street. Just follow your nose. XD
