I do not get why this bakery is having so many stars. Maybe the personeel is nice to locals. Here is what I noticed: - The price/performance ratio for the bread is horrible. - Super unfriendly & unmotivated personnel. My spoken Dutch is fine and everywhere I go it is appreciated that I try my best to integrate. However, in this bakery, they just switch to German because they hear I have a German accent. I continue in my best Dutch possible. How am I supposed to learn otherwise? Duh! Not buying there anymore and not recommending it to anybody.

A top baker. Coincidentally, I took delicious raisin rolls today. Also a sourdough raisin bread with nuts. Incredibly delicious (bella Italia). Recommended. We were helped friendly and professionally by the employee in this nice store. Reasonably accessible, but narrow, which is compensated by an entrance and an exit.

What a great artisan baker. With an extremely wide range of delicious (special) bread and other delicacies. Certainly worth mentioning are the employees in the store, what knowledge they have about their breads, but even more important is their helpfulness. In short, highly recommended!!!

Today I visited this Bakary and I did not felt like a customer. There was no welcome, no hello. I had just finished my night shift and was in a need of a quick snack. Instead of a quick snack I waited 2 min for the ladies to stop talking to each other. The ladies were more concern with my look then anything else. On top of this I heard them commenting on bad pronunciation of ''fijne dag'' and laughing behind my back. Needless to say I am not very impressed by the Dutch peasantry. In this post-gender world, being a poor white male you will face a lot of discrimination. I was wrong to expect more from the Dutch, especially from the unenlightened dutch peasants of Venlo. By the way the worstenbroodje was old and had a funny taste. Never going there again.

This is so nice if you live in Venlo itself, there are 5 bakeries within walking distance. Awesome! Nice freshest. Beautiful girls. And you can already smell the freshness when you walk down the street. Just follow your nose. XD
