In general, Bekkerie ut Bruêdje is known for delivering very good flans, and that quality has never declined. However, the ordering process is increasingly deteriorating. I order a flan by phone on Monday to pick up on Wednesday, and on Tuesday I receive a call where they are fully convinced that the flan would be picked up on Tuesday. The bakery also offers the option to pick up flans between 06:00 and 08:00, so before opening hours. You show up there at 08:00 and get someone with a stormy face saying that it said the flan would be picked up at 07:30. That is simply not correct. Telephone appointments are therefore not being processed properly. It is a shame, because I have always enjoyed picking up flans here and they are always good. But the service, and especially how the staff handles the administration, really needs to be much better.

I never forget to pick up delicious pies here on the way back whenever possible. A real treat, the strawberry, cherry, and four-fruit pies. Regards, Johan Dekker

Delicious pastries there and very busy

I bought bread here a few times to try it out. The bread, which was described as "luxury," was limp and tasteless. The pies aren't anything to write home about either. On top of that, the staff isn't really friendly.

Great and affordable cakes and tarts. Only 1 point for the ambiance, as it's a bakery where you can pick up your cakes and bread.

Got stale rolls for the umpteenth time, corn rolls again this time; they just crumbled, they were so dry! You guys really need to put dates on the rolls!!!

For years, my number one when it comes to flans. When I’m allowed to work outside Limburg again, it’s almost a requirement that on the first day of work, I bring at least eine Kruumelvlaai and eine Riestevlaai with slaagraum. And then, in a non-Limburg accent, follows: "But definitely the one from ut Brooeüüdtje." I don't go there for the atmosphere, although during the busy days before Christmas and such, there is a certain atmosphere... see you soon!

Parking is disappointing, but the bakery quality is not.

I find the staff incredibly unfriendly. Their faces are always frazzled. If you don't feel like working, for God's sake, quit.

Quite tasty pie here for a good price.

We don't think the sausages and sausage rolls are as good as they used to be. The ground meat is too sticky, sometimes hard, and much too large. We prefer quality over quantity. I would recommend better quality ground meat.

I often discover junk ingredients after reading the ingredients in the little white dots; it shocks me, though they are tasty. Yes, it is quite possible that one or more ingredients from this list have caused or worsened a skin condition for you. This is a typical ingredient list for factory-made bread or a bread improver mix, and it contains a number of known “triggers” for skin problems. These are the most suspicious ingredients when it comes to skin reactions (eczema, acne, urticaria, rosacea, dermatitis, etc.): 1. **Wheat / WHEAT flour / WHEAT gluten / WHEAT malt flour** → Gluten and other wheat proteins can trigger inflammation in sensitive people (even without official celiac disease) that manifests on the skin. This is sometimes called “gluten-related skin complaints” or non-celiac gluten sensitivity. 2. **Milk components (whey powder, butter powder, whey protein concentrate)** → Dairy is one of the biggest triggers for acne, eczema, and perioral dermatitis. Whey proteins, in particular, are known to severely disrupt the skin via hormones (IGF-1) and inflammation. 3. **Emulsifiers E471 and E482** → These are mono- and diglycerides and calcium stearoyl-2-lactylate. There are increasing numbers of studies and clinical observations showing that these emulsifiers can disrupt the gut barrier and the microbiome, which can indirectly lead to skin inflammation (the gut-skin axis). 4. **Vegetable fat (palm** → Palm oil is often highly refined and oxidized; it contains a lot of saturated fat and can promote inflammation in sensitive people. 5. **Dextrose + glucose syrup (dried)** → Fast sugars cause insulin fluctuations → increased sebum production and inflammation → increased risk of acne and other skin problems. In short: This bread contains exactly the combination that many people with skin conditions (acne, eczema, rosacea) react poorly to: wheat + dairy + emulsifiers + sugar + palm oil. What can you do to test if this is the culprit? - Try eating 100% gluten-free and dairy-free for 3-4 weeks (so no bread, cookies, pasta, milk products, etc.). - During that period, choose “clean” bread: sourdough made from only spelt/rye/wheat + water + salt, or gluten-free bread without all those additives. - See if your skin clearly improves. For many people, this happens within just 2-4 weeks. If your skin flares up again as soon as you eat this type of factory-made bread, you can be almost certain that one (or more) of these ingredients is the trigger.

Bakery 't Bruedje in Blerick Is world-famous in the region. Their progretaart and meringue cake are delicious. The banana flan is too. Actually, everything they bake is delicious. We get the cake, flans, and rolls from 't Bruedje for every birthday. The service and atmosphere are fantastic. Definitely recommended.

As a Brabo, I bought Limburg sausage rolls here, which were really quite different from Brabant sausage rolls, but still very good to eat.😉

Really delicious pie, especially the real Limburg pies. I said that two years ago, but I've had apple pies twice now, and they weren't really good. Dry and thick crust, thick base that wasn't even fully cooked. That's disappointing; it was always so delicious, but I don't need this one anymore. 😥

For the tastiest pies. We drive 80 km especially for them.

The store does not exude luxury, but is very effectively designed. Fast-working, friendly employees. It's usually busy but no long waits. Free parking at the store. Wheelchair-friendly entrance.

I found the range somewhat disappointing and all whole pies. With a company it is difficult to choose. So many people have so many wishes, so you'd rather have points so you can all choose something. The pie itself was quite hard in terms of grid.

The best baker. Dutch vlaai. Is and remains the best. Top service and great quality. And incredibly delicious bread, rolls and cakes. My favorite for several years.

Delicious bread, pastries and cake in all shapes and sizes, not too expensive. It can be busy, but they usually know how to deal with it quickly. Sometimes if I have ordered for a treat at work, I can pick up the cake and pastries before 7 a.m. (you must then pay the exact amount or by card).

The best pies in the region. The banana puffs are also very tasty. Personally, I don't like the bossebollen. Nevertheless, 5 stars.

Great. When I stood at the counter I had a flashback moment. Next to me stood a woman with a small child. She orders some things and the seller asks if the child wants a white sandwich. About 50 years ago, baker Dukkers passed through our street. I also always got a bun/white spot. As a result, when I started living on my own, I always bought my baking goods there until I moved. Now I'm back and this event has revived my memory. BEKKERIE ''T Breudje is again at the top of my top list when it comes to baked goods.

Drove to Venlo especially for t bruedje's cakes. We got a progress cake and specifically asked if it contained chocolate, because of an allergy. We were told that there are only pieces of chocolate on it but not in the cake. As you can see, there is a chocolate layer throughout the cake. Tried calling but no answer. Super disappointing.

A perfect bread and pastry baker and top service to customers and the very best and tastiest bread from all over Limburg!!! Highly recommended, but beware, the baker usually makes a hole in the boerlo bread, which compromises the quality, which is a pity and sad.
