The staff wasn't very cheerful and the attitude wasn't friendly. But the pie makes up for everything.

Ordered three pies yesterday and requested slicing service with the order today. Upon arrival, the order wasn't ready and none of the pies were sliced. The woman behind the counter said we should have mentioned this, but she checked the order form to see what it was. She said this was supposed to be done at the bakery, not in the store. After asking for a refund for the slicing service, the woman decided to slice it herself. All the pies tasted bad. I strongly suspect that one of them (cherry crumble) was taken from the freezer because the dough and crumble were very soft and limp with a watery cherry filling. Due to necessity, as the in-house baker is on vacation, I ordered from Pijpers for the first time and won't be ordering again. The pies are even better at Jumbo or Albert Heijn. UPDATE TO COMMENT: I don't blame the young woman (absolutely not) and I won't discuss this further. I do want to mention that "using less sugar" does explain why the dough and crumbs were soft and limp with a watery cherry filling.

I picked up a bread package using the "Vers voor vandaag" app. The older, blonde woman with messy hair is completely unfriendly and snaps at you as a customer. I immediately put her on the spot. Not at all customer-friendly, especially for a bakery like Pijpers, which I frequent because their products are good. This woman shouldn't be working as a salesperson with her grumpy face. She's not friendly to customers at all. She won't be doing that to me again.

The soft rolls are unmatched. They sell baguettes to bake yourself: World class, they would even be happy with this in France. The pie is delicious. My favorite: the cherries, fresh as a daisy and a special taste and also from the region! And the rest... well, too much to mention. That's why just 5 stars. Go and taste it

Here they sell bread and pastries from their own bakery. The store is spacious, with many types of bread and rolls. Also wide choice of Limburg Vlaai. This tastes very good. You can also order by telephone and list. Presumably also via a website. The staff is friendly and helpful. Here you get real attention instead of the distant elsewhere! So give the front curl to a real Bskker

Delicious pie. We also had a small cake...super moist and fresh. Nicely laid out. We found this bakery via Google because we were on our way to Germany and wanted to take cake with us. Had telephone contact, super friendly. Pie was set aside, so that we were sure we had pie when we got there. Great service. Beautiful store.

#31Blerick just picked up some lovely speciality bread as well as a normal loaf. Everything looked awesome. There was a queue out the door and you take a ticket when you enter so you get served in good time. Lots of staff so despite the queue served fast. Lots of free samples #railthetrails
