A fantastic selection of gluten-free and even refined sugar-free treats – the trip from Germany was well worth it! I traveled all the way from Kleve (Germany) because, unfortunately, there are far too few options for people who want to avoid refined sugar. After some online research, I came across the Kuckuck bakery in Nijmegen – and I wasn't disappointed! The café is quite small, but incredibly cozy and has a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere. The staff is extremely kind and friendly, and the advice I received was absolutely spot on. I tried a fantastic little tart: with a delicious base, a scrumptious chia cream filling, and a fresh fruit topping. It was absolutely delicious! I'm so thrilled to have found what I was looking for here. I'll definitely be back! Best regards, Patrick

Tasteful cakes and even sweeter employees. Super friendly and top service, from phone to in-person. I wish I had asked for the woman's name because she deserves a shout-out, she was incredibly kind. I tried the spicy carrotcake, which wasn't spicy but that's not a complaint. It was greatly balanced, not too sweet, nice and juicy in the middle, with a nice citrusy aftertaste. Highly recommended for those looking for healthier alternatives to sweets. Also very thoughtful and beautiful initiative. Overall very positive impression. I'll be back!!! ❤️

Wow. Ordered 3 mini cakes for a pleasant afternoon yesterday. There were good reactions to all three, it's not often you hear such enthusiastic reactions to cakes. And, to be honest, I'm not much of a cake lover myself, but... I was just as excited. Recommended. Nice staff too.

Small bakker with delicious homemade cakes

This place is very nice. We came across this nice spot by chance, and what a shame that it is in this place. As far as I'm concerned, this deserves a prominent place in the city. A super good initiative and nice people who work there. We were cheerfully welcomed by a friendly girl. The coffee was delicious and the salted caramel cookie was perhaps even better. The cookie was also fresh from the oven. What more could a person want? Highly recommended!

Bakery KoekKoek is a wonderful initiative that received many compliments from our bridal party with their beautiful creations. They are even tastier than they are beautiful! Chris and Ieke take care of everything down to the last detail together with the young people they work with. They listened exactly to our wishes. What a treat when your daughter comes to you with a box from Bakkerij Koekkoek. With two cakes! Lemon meringue: the combination of the sweet, full foam layer with the soft cheesecake underneath is very well balanced. The chocolate cake is also great: a full, rich chocolate taste, the top is sweeter but is well balanced in combination with the less sweet bottom. Bakery Koekkoek is definitely worth a detour!

Fantastic cakes and super service!

Got 2 cakes from Bakkerij Koekkoek, what delicious cakes. The lemon meringue Cheesecake is perhaps the tastiest cake we have ever eaten! And they looked beautiful too. Also very good communication and helpful.

Chris baked a delicious cake for my birthday and brownies to hand out. Highly recommended!

We are still unsure whether the brownies or the oat cakes are the tastiest. Will be back soon to taste it again. Nice place to search in a cool environment!
