Poor service You buy bread and cookies, but you're not allowed to use the restroom because you haven't had coffee or something similar. This bakery is not the king of the hospitality industry.

What a lovely bakery to stop for a cup of coffee and a treat. The cheese roll was delicious right up to the very end. It was beautifully served on a plate with cutlery. The cookie with the coffee (shortbread with cinnamon) was truly delicious. After I suggested it, we were given a small gingerbread cookie with anise to try. A real treat too. As a customer, you really feel valued. Thank you! This is thanks to the very friendly lady (Ingrid) at the bakery. Thanks for the little extra. Our day couldn't have started better in Alkmaar. 10 stars for the atmosphere and Ingrid.

Very pleasant price, good quality

I came here twice to have a fast breakfast and I have always been treated well despite not being a local. Cakes are very good, coffee could be better but it still does his job well enough and overall the place is calm and comfortable. Only downside could be the bathroom not really tidy but it's not enough to go below 5 stars.

A two star review because the cake that I had was actually very good, unlike the welcome that deserves no stars at all. I may not speak as much Dutch as some people might like, but I do understand sufficiently when I am spoken about and made fun of. Incredibly rude service, and downright aggressive when claiming that they could not make a simple Americano. This is not what I have come to expect of the Netherlands, where people are mostly very happy, friendly, and helpful. My coffee break left a very nasty taste in my mouth. Cannot recommend.

Service deserves top marks, I forgot my wallet with everything inside, returned intact... when you meet civilized people... speaking of products, the best for me was the apple puff pastry, but everything is good.

There are many baked goods options and the coffee is delicious. The employee is wonderful. She told me that some of the items were not suitable for me as a Muslim herself without asking me. I loved that🤍

Very bad, the pigeons just come in there and sit on bread etc. and eat it whole and they look at it and do nothing and I don't get anything there anymore.

Got 2 sandwiches. At 38 weeks pregnant I was not allowed to pee. That was very sad for the coffee sitters!!

Wonderful bakery and super friendly staff.

On 05-09-23 I arrived in this wonderful country, the girl who was working in the morning I asked her to please have a coffee around 7:30 a.m. when she was opening. Very polite and friendly, she attended to me. On 05-10-23, thinking about how well they treated me, I returned there at the same time and the girl who was working that day, with a very bad tone, kicked me out and told me that it was not open and I was left without being able to have breakfast. The best of all is that waiting on the corner, he did serve the people who were going for bread. I don't think I will return and I will look for another place where they don't mind giving you a coffee.

Wonderful local bakery. The tastiest breads are baked here. Just like delicious cookies and pastries. You can also relax here and enjoy a nice cup of coffee and, for example, a freshly baked panini. I often take the monthly special. The staff here are also very friendly and very helpful. Definitely do it.
