Simple but effective. Bread is always amazing, as well as the little pastries. Just wish they were open more days. Also, the coffee can take quite a long time on busy days due to one machine, but lovely atmosphere to wait at

Lovely spot in the Amsterdam East district. The real Scandinavian kanelbullar (cinnamon roll) brings us back to our trip through Northern Scandinavia. Great service, good coffee and delicious cappuccino!

March 2025, Hidden this small bakery offering about 8-10 different kinds of bread. Of course a cinnamon bun and coffee. They offering for me the French breakfast, demi baguette avec beurre et confiture. What else do you need. Especially now with the morning sun a real nice small terrace. Order at the counter they will bring to your table. Only the espresso, Little too much acid tones for me.

Cozy little neighborhood bakery that does a good job balancing the consistency and sweetness of their Kanelbullar. Sadly, the last two I have gotten there had onions on the bottom :/ Likely a bit sloppy with their baking trays. For the price they are asking it’s a pity they are contaminated.

Very nice bakery, warm and calm atmosphere and I liked the flowers on the tables outside. The staff is nice and the bun was amazing. I spent around 7€ for a coffee and a bun.

It’s a very nice neighbourhood bakery. I like to sit there in the terrace especially when it’s sunny. My favourite items are half baguette with butter and jam and the cinnamon bun.

After all the good reviews, I wanted to test the cinnamon bun! Unfortunately I was disappointed twice as they were sold out at 1:00 PM both times I went. So I ordered a butter cake which tasted very good but perhaps lacked a little salt. Well the third time I was lucky and the cinnamon buns weren't finished yet! My expectations had of course already grown quite a bit by now because they must be very good if they are gone so quickly (: The cinnamon bun tasted delicious and if I had to say something about it, it could perhaps have been a little juicier. All in all It's a nice bakery where there are also cozy places to sit and have a coffee. I hope that in the future there will be an opportunity to call so you can order a cinnamon bun or bread/have it set aside, like that. becomes one Selling 'no' or avoiding disappointment.

Focaccia was incredible, perfect balance of crunchiness and softness and just out of the oven. The cinnamon roll was also delicious. That place is so “gezellig”

Good bread but the bread rack is out in the open with kids running around (which is fine by them). Doesn’t look very hygienic to me.

It’s my second time at this bakery and I’ll be back again for sure! Super friendly staff, nice location in one of the quiet neighborhoods, cute terrace with couple of tables and the most important: always fresh breads!! We’ve got almond and cinnamon ones and it was delicious. Definitely recommend to everyone 😇

Such a cosy neighborhood bakery and cafe. I had the cinnamon roll and a focaccia and they were both so delicious. Definitely coming back for more. They also have crate of toys for children which I loved!

Spectacular! This is art more than basic food

Een groot genot, zo'n heerlijk hartelijke buurtbakker met verse kaneelbroodjes, onvergetelijke zuurdesembroden en zitplekken om er met een echte cappucino van te genieten. Parijs herleeft in Oost.

Do you know the smell of freshly baked sourdough bread in the morning? I do and it's a great experience. Right after sunrise, on my morning walk, I passed by the brand new "Bakkerij Mas" bakery in the beautiful "Watergraafsmeer" neighborhood of Amsterdam. They are specialized in biological sourdough bread and other tasty goodies and I immediately scored one. Great product and I can definitely recommend "Bakkerij Mas"! Fantastisch brood en ook zoete bakkerijprodukten. Alles rustiek en gewoon simpel, zoals het eigenlijk hoort, maar moeilijk is te vinden. Ik weet al dat ik vanaf nu vaste klant ben :)

Het is nu nog een verborgen parel maar dat gaat vast niet lang duren, heerlijk brood!!

Dit brood is echt next level! Alles trouwens van Mas. We kochten al tijdens de lockdown bij Mas en zijn super blij dat ze een bakkerij/café heeft geopend! Wij zullen hier vaak gaan komen!

Wat een fijne bakkerij en heerlijke koffie hebben ze hier! Dit wordt mijn nieuwe must go to!
