Very good bakery. From the outside you can see how the bread is made. Very comfortable inside - but also very expensive. It's a shame that there are so few chairs and tables. This should get better! You often don't get any more space. Otherwise recommended.

Fantastic chocolate rolls and nice coffee Nice atmosphere too

The pain au chocolat was delicious and of the better ones I’ve ever tasted. It was flaky and buttery and the chocolat was intense.

Super fun bakery with super fun people. We're totally going to copy the L word, so fun!!!! And the bread and other snacks are all super delicious.

Incredible sourdough bakery with awesome bread and pastries. Absolutely worth the trip a bit outside of the city center.

Super lekker zuurdesembrood en altijd gezellig. Sinds een tijdje ook puike koffie van white label. De kimcheese is hun specialiteit, dus zeker weten proberen. Alles is wel aan de prijs, maar daar krijg je ook echt wat voor.

7.50 for a cappuccino and a pain au chocolate that was about 1/2 a normal size. I’m used to hipster coffee shops and while the coffee and pain were good, this is just too overpriced to enjoy

Beste brood in Amsterdam. Super leuke plek om even te zitten met een kop goeie koffie of appelsap. Het is heel leuk om te zien en voelen hoeveel plezier het personeel heeft tijdens het werk.

Amazing bakery, it makes the entire neighborhood smell of delicious bread. They have some very interesting snacks, like their cheese kimchi bread, they also got some classics like the cinnamon roll which is delicious. Definitely check it out!

Ik heb vandaag een heerlijke pain au chocolat gehaald bij bakker Ex. Ik heb ervan genoten in het lentezonnetje. Smaakt naar meer. 😋👍🏿

Helaas woon ik niet in Noord, maar als ik weleens naar een vriend van mijn na toe ga kom hier altijd langs. Heerlijke zuurdesembrood en danish gebakjes zijn hier altijd top! Vriendelijke bediening! Mensen met passie!

Smaak was best lekker het brood was alleen erg plakkerig en zag er uit alsof het niet goed gerezen was.

Echt DE lekkerste croissantjes. Lekker brood met zorg en liefde gemaakt. En dat proef je. Aanrader.

Absolutely the best bakery in Noord maybe even in Amsterdam. The vibes are good, the coffee is steamy and the pastries are fluffy. We'll even cycle in the rain for the bread and croissants here.

Lived nearby bakkerij Ex for the past few years and went to get their loaves and small snacks (bolus, pain au chocolat, kimcheese) very often. Honestly, I do not think I have ever encountered a better bakery in my life than this one (and that says something coming from a bakers-daughter herself). I unfortunately had to move to a different city, and I still miss this bakery every week. Find myself still thinking about their amazing pain a chocolat, would definitely recommend those to everybody!

Nog nooit zulk lekker brood gegeten wow! Wat een fijne plek ook, en lief personeel. Ik kom gauw terug wanneer ik weer in de buurt ben

Nice little shop offering excellent sourdough bread and other baked goods, and a fine selection of local produce and global delicacies, including wine, coffee and, for instance, amazing miso paste.

Delicious sourdough and pastries! The loaves of bread are a bit on expensive side but they are worth it :)
