Great bakery and friendly staff

I'd give it even more stars if I could: such delicious baked goods in such a variety of styles, it was hard for us to choose! You can enjoy a delicious breakfast/dinner there. The coffee is excellent, and the rolls are freshly topped.

Gorgeous food. Excellent staff. Lovely shop and coffee shop, with the patisserie/ bakery items extremely well presented. We went twice during our short stay in Uitgeest, and would most definitely go again.

This week I bought a small loaf of bread and a pack of almond curls. When I had to pay I was shocked by the total amount and when I asked "how much does the currant bread and spices cost?" I received the answer: "10 euros and 50 cents, madam". What an absurd price.

Well, I've never been here personally, I don't think. But I have one of their loaves of bread on my kitchen table. "Goldfinch's Spicy Bread". Came in a nice red packaging box. .. I really don't dare to start it. I wouldn't give it to my grandchildren either. No ingredients are listed on the box itself. And that's a good thing, because they are on the plastic bag that is in the cardboard printed. I counted no fewer than 51 (FIFTY-ONE!)... Not a healthy recommendation. It will be quite tasty, but so much stuff in it, (most of it not really organic, so to speak...) is not a sign of "thumbs up"...

Nice cup of coffee and too much choice for something tasty with your coffee.

A nice warm bakery shop. Also nice for a cup of tea/coffee with a delicious pastry. Take a break for yourself in between.

Bread is of top quality. My favorite is the brown sourdough bread, unparalleled delicious! Other products, such as edible bread and turbans, are also great 🙂👍. We come there every week.

Beautiful place where I mainly go for round currant bread with food. Delicious. Also often take them with you as a gift instead of flowers or a bottle of wine. Also have an ultra small shop in Limmen.

Excellent bread, taste is good. Generally very friendly staff, with the exception of one; When I am helped by her she is very unfriendly and arrogant. Unjustifiably treated unfriendly this week in front of other customers... very special. I am very shocked and surprised about this. I have remained friendly, showing how it should be done!!

review thrown out why no idea. Price/quality not in proportion. Aged cheese sandwich is nothing more and less than cheese, bread and butter and put on a plate. Staff is unfriendly..bought currant bread packed in a plastic container is soggy.

Toller Bäcker und Konditor. Schöne Auswahl an Brötchen, Broten aber vor allem auch an Schokolade und süßen Backwaren. Das Personal ist freundlich. English ging immer deutsch auch mal ;) aber wir haben immer was leckeres kaufen können. Sonntags ist leider zu. Das Ambiente ist schön. Toll, traditionell und einfach authentisch.

Een fijne pauze genomen na fietstocht door Uitgeest. Er zijn hier veels te veel lekkere hapjes maar toch een keuze gemaakt prima in orde.

Luxury bakery. Really loved the saucijzenbroodjes and kaasbroodjes, puff pastry filled with sausage or cheese filling. The pastries and regular bread also looked good.

Sehr leckere Backwaren und frische Brötchen, dazu unglaublich freundliches Personal, sehr empfehlenswert!

Schöne Bäckerei in der 4. Generation. Leckerer Kuchen und Kaffee aus eigener Röstung und Produktion. Sehr zuvor kommende Bedienung. Parkplätze für einen lohnenden, kurzen Zwischenstop in der Nähe.

Heerlijk gebak en koekjes ook. Heb alleen toch een opmerking: Afgelopen maandag werd er gebak in dozen gedaan zonder handschoentjes. Tussendoor werden even de handen onder de kraan gehouden en afgedroogd aan een niet zichtbaar handdoekje achter de toonbank. Jammer in deze coronatijd niet erg handig. Meen mij te herinneren dat ik andere medewerkers wél met handschoentjes gezien heb op andere dagen.

Heerlijke bakker alles is smullen! Een echte aanrader prachtige mooie winkel.

Even snel broodje eten in Uitgeest, werden doorverwezen naar bakker Putter, al 5 generaties een begrip. Mooie zaak met breed assortiment (desem-) brood&gebak. Vriendelijk personeel. Beperkte lunchkaart met 6 specialiteiten. Wij bestelden een broodje kalfspastramie (€8,76 (te) veel preisalade op snee brood met mooie pastrami) en pistolet oude kaas (€3,86, plak voorgesneden kaas met schijfjes tomaat en komkommer). Broodjes zijn zwaar aan de prijs. Bereiding zonder handschoenen en fabriekssaus uit een knijpfles. De koffie is lekker maar mag wel wat sterker.

Browsing the local tourist rag, we found an ad for the Bakkerij Putter in Uitgeest about 15 km - or a nice bike ride - from where we are staying. The ad told us that coffee is roasted in the café Friday and Saturday mornings. As this was a Friday and we are what the Dutch call koffie liebhebbers, we chose to cycle there. We arrived too late for the roasting, but in time for a tompoes (mille-feuille) and some outstanding coffee. Our choice is always an espresso for its intensity in flavour and style. The roaster stopped by for a coffee chat and offered some samples of his various coffees. Though a baker by profession, he has a true heart for coffee - which shows in his gently rounded coffees. The true genius lies in how different the same coffee tastes using different brewing methods. Needless to say, we, if not filled our bike bags, then certainly did buy the odd pound or two of coffee. Oh yes, the "stuff" from the bakery was outstanding as well. Apparently the bakery is purveyor to the Royal Household of the Kingdom of the Netherlands (which is a lot bigger than the little European country).

We have been going daily for coffee, hot chocolate & the best sausage rolls in Holland. The staff are really friendly and helpful.

Je kunt hier prima even een kopje koffie drinken met een heerlijk gebakje erbij. Daarna kun je blijven lunchen of direct de bakkersboodschappen mee naar huis nemen.

Voor spelt brood moet je naar Putter. Ik rijd er graag een stukje voor om. Ze hebben er zelfs verschillende soorten.
