We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance in the middle of a heavy rain, and it turned out to be an unforgettable experience. Nestled by the lake, the view was absolutely stunning and truly memorable. The atmosphere felt both romantic and elegant, making it perfect for a special evening. The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and at very reasonable prices. A hidden gem we are so glad we discovered!

Of course, the waterfront ambiance is beautiful, but the quality of the restaurant was disappointing. The Sjaak steak was probably as old as Sjaak himself. Tough and inedible, with a bland sauce. Ordered medium but it turned out to be rare, sent back to the kitchen, and the steak remained raw and tough. The dry salad was also from a bag with some cheese and diced melon, not even dressed, so easy. The four of us had to share the tiny fruit bowl. For this price, you expect more. It's a shame.

Great view on the water and delicious food

A restaurant where you're truly pampered as a guest. We had a wonderful evening with our family, enjoying the delicious food, pleasant atmosphere, and excellent service.

Lunch for four people at a table outside is impossible. Two lunch boards are nearly impossible, and the table has to be set up so you have to hold your plate on your lap. And then I get a sneer, let alone something else I can't put down. Where should everything be? To make matters worse, a glass spilled on my plate. The concept is nice, but space is scarce.

Located on Uitgeestermeer lake, this is a very atmospheric restaurant. The food is a feast for the eyes and palate. Plenty of choices, even for vegetarians. We had the "if you're still unsure" dessert, highly recommended! I have nothing but praise for the staff; they are friendly, attentive, and helpful. This restaurant is highly recommended.

It's wonderful to relax here and enjoy good draft beer with a delicious 12 o'clock drink. Beautifully presented platter and very friendly service.

We had a fantastic afternoon. First a boat trip with "the Rose". It was great. We were welcomed with a Schippersbittertje and during the trip we got 3 delicious amuses that were presented very originally. After this we had an extensive lunch with the meters long shared dish expanded with the très chic. At 16.00 we left satisfied. It was a top afternoon.

Staff was rude, cobwebs everywhere under the tables outside, olives on the carpaccio, way too expensive 3 euros for 2 mini bake-off rolls. Not a nice experience but a nice place too bad they don't make good use of it.

A true insider tip right on the Uitgeest harbor. We had a fantastic evening with a great view of the water, a cozy atmosphere, and super-friendly staff. The food was fresh, lovingly prepared, and absolutely delicious – the seafood was especially amazing. Our young son and dog were also warmly welcomed, which made the visit perfect for the whole family. We'll definitely be back.

Already at the table in our "dining club" group app already posted that we had found another gem! Reception (without reservation Ascension Day around 14:00) super hospitable. We took a seat at the bar and drank a glass of wine while the most beautiful table in the place was quickly cleaned and made ready. Food, atmosphere and staff a big 10!

Absolutely fine, no frills, just solid food, a little more expensive than average, but good meat and a nice platter as a starter, which was not exaggerated in terms of taste sensation but simply tasty, a nice young man as a waiter, in short, I would definitely go there again.

Nice place, good food and good service. Apparently live music on Sunday. That is extremely annoying and unnecessary. You can hardly hear each other and the microphone was way too loud and unnecessary. I wouldn't do it again!

Tonight we had another great evening in the skippers' kingdom, we regularly come here to relax with a drink and/or snack, on the large outdoor terrace on the Uitestermeer when the weather is nice. You can also moor your boat. Recommended, actually everything, but the exchange board in the 2nd formation can be expanded yourself is a winner, also the starters and desserts very carefully and perfect for everyone. trained staff and perfect cuisine offer something for everyone

De locatie is mooi maar het eten matig. Weinig smaak en bovendien hebben 3 van onze groep van 6 maagklachten de dag erna. Wij komen hier niet meer tenzij er ooit een andere kok komt. Heel jammer.

This time we were surprised by the food, which in our opinion was less than we are used to from Schippersrijk, the collection of extra Lux was really disappointing and the Sjaak steak was not great either. Staff there are great.

Ate at this location twice. Service is friendly and hospitable, the location is beautiful and hygienic, but the food is not good. The hamburger was accidentally served without cheese (?), which was placed on a saucer after the burger was already half eaten. The fries were brought 5 minutes later... The gnocchi was served cold and tasted identical to the frozen gnocchi from Albert Heijn. Tasteless and soggy. The salad with steak was served so raw that I wonder if it was fried at all. Then the 'Calf and Lobster', you pay €42.50 for this and the lobster was even smaller than your little finger. This dish was very tasty, but make sure you have been to McDonalds beforehand because after 3 bites it is gone and you pay € 42.50 for it. Left this place hungry, twice. Too bad because, as mentioned, the location is beautiful. All in all, this is a great place to sit and have a drink - but I recommend skipping dinner.

Super fijn ontvangst, werd volledig rekening gehouden met mijn zwangerschap, personeel enorm vriendelijk en het eten was echt uitmuntend. Ook nog eens een hele mooie locatie. Het was hier voor ons de eerste keer maar zeker voor herhaling vatbaar.

Ate here again after years. The last experiences were not good, but it was fine now. The yakatoris skewer was very tasty. There was no sinew in it and the meat was very tender. The wine was delicious and I was surprised. We will definitely come back.

Delicious lunch, pleasant service.

Location is lovely on the water. Apple pie is served in a bowl with a knife and fork.. ? Brown bun with 4 small beef stew croquettes that tasted too much of nutmeg. Served with a mustard-like sauce. Garnished with 2 halves of cherry tomatoes. Not worth repeating

Delicious food! Atmosphere is great, nicely decorated, lighting is very good. We were 16 people and the menu was very good, including a special menu for vegetarians. Very extensive but not too much, it was just right. Would definitely eat here again in the future when we are in the area!

I had the fish board tres chic for 2 people. From previous experience, I immediately asked for extra bread this time because otherwise you would just eat the fish snacks plain and leave the table hungry. However, after ordering extra bread twice, we did not experience a satisfying lunch. Moreover, the sandwiches were simply charged on the receipt, and this for a platter of fish snacks for 49 Euro. My wife also recently had this experience so I was double warned. Nevertheless, I hit my head for the 3rd time at this restaurant where it was still cold at 12 noon on Wednesday. This donkey is never going to hit his head there again!

Very old bulging look and feel. The shared plank for lunch is fun to share, but more of a drinks plank than really something for lunch. Prices are good and not Adam prices.

Gezellig aangekleed restaurant met uitzicht op het uitgeestermeer. Personeel ook zeer kundig en behulpzaam. We namen dit keer een uiensoep met rendang en kaaskroketje .lekker gekruide soep met een kleine kick. Kroketjes ook zeer goed gevuld en een heerlijk smaak. Volgende keer weer hiernaar toe voor een wat uitgebreidere lunch of diner.

Agreed to have lunch with a group of 16 people for a birthday. We were warmly welcomed and a lounge set was reserved for us outside so that we could first have a drink outside by the water. (arranged spontaneously for us) then at the table to share the collection, a 1-meter shelf, with all kinds of delicious dishes, soup, pies, etc. All this while enjoying delicious wines. It's worth going there! Overlooking the lake, the tables cannot be booked but they try to find you a place. They even have mooring for boats and will come to serve you an aperitif/dinner on the boat. We arrived around 5.30/6pm for an aperitif and then chose to stay for dinner. Spent €100 for two for 2 starters, 2 main courses, 2 beers and 1 glass of wine. Super acceptable also considering the types of dishes taken (1 excellent tartare with duck liver pâté and the fillet with green pepper excellent. The carpaccio was also very good). Exceptional view, baby seats and space for dogs

Had a nice lunch with a (former) colleague in this Bistro on the Uitgeestermeer. 't Schippersrijk has a nice varied menu and very friendly staff. In short, definitely worth repeating!

21/7 dinner op mooie locatie. Royaal voorgerecht met grillworst en bitterballen en broodjes met tapenade vooraf en chateaubriand welke weer wat karig was met bijgerechten friet, sla en fruitcompote . Locatie is top, zaten buiten met zicht op watersport en door de parasols en glazen windschermen geen last van avond kou.

Our wedding ceremony was celebrated at Schippersrijk, everything was beautifully decorated for the ceremony, toasted with a very nice cava and downstairs a beautifully set table with tasty planks and good wine. The food is really great at Schippersrijk, the service is friendly and attentive to your wishes. Will definitely come back.
