OG's in Wijk 00 Uitgeest

Tonight we were lucky that Restaurant OG's was open again! This time we chose the homemade onion soup as a starter. This was really full of flavor and perfectly seasoned. There was also a homemade cheese stick which complimented the delicious onion soup well. The main course tonight was a super tasty collection of different dishes. A very nice piece of round steak with parsnip puree, chimmichurrie, roasted carrots and pomme fondant. The round steak was cooked perfectly medium rare on request and the chimichurrie was especially delicious. For dessert there was a piece of homemade brownie with also homemade vanilla ice cream. The brownie had a whiskey coffee caramel sauce on it. What a combination! After dinner, the evening ended with a nice fresh cup of coffee. The ambiance was homely, warm and cozy. Good music was played in the background, which created a nice atmosphere. In addition, the stated allergies were also handled very well! I will definitely come back here again! Recommended!

Wow, went here, not knowing what to expect, but was blown off my socks by the delicious food and service. Great recommendation on the pairing wine. A hidden gem, and not without reason. Thank you O & G, you are one of a kind.

What a wonderful meal I had here! An amazing 5-course dinner with matching wines. A great experience! 3 weeks later and I still feel fat and satisfied. Compliments to the chef and the rest of the staff. 🙂

Found this gem in Uitgeest by word of mouth. Booked half a year in advance and I must say it lived up to all the rumors. We were warmly welcomed with a welcome drink and then we were able to enjoy a delicious (vegetarian) 6-course dinner. A culinary taste experience from A to Z. Also compliments for the gastronomy and the nice homely ambiance. In conclusion, I can only think back to an excellent flavor rollercoaster including matching wines. If you get the chance. Fantastic food at O&G! It was a true taste sensation! The burrata mousse and the bavette, prepared on the BBQ were super tasty, in short, enjoyed!
