Top location, delicious dinner, everyone was very satisfied. The service was also very good, all the young people were very friendly and helpful, definitely worth repeating, a solid 10!

Delicious food, very good and friendly service. However, for a large group, it is not the most convenient location in terms of noise. As a result, it is difficult to understand each other.

It was a very nice and pleasant experience dining at Krelis. A very nice and neat restaurant, pleasant service, a cozy atmosphere, and incredibly delicious food. A nice concept and in a beautiful location. Great for the family, but also perfect for a nice time alone, and there is even the option to celebrate parties and events on location. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant.

On September 9, 2026, I once again enjoyed lunch at Krelis with my colleague. Excellent dishes accompanied by excellent tea and coffee. The table for a bridal couple was beautifully set and decorated. Always a pleasure to have lunch at Krelis!

We held our party at Krelis. We had rented the entire upper floor. First, we had drinks and dinner with the whole family at Het Juffertje, and then partied with family and friends at De Wuifelaar. Meanwhile, Het Juffertje remained available for people who wanted to have a quiet chat and for the teenagers who didn't want to hang out with all those "old" people. The dinner was extensive and very tasty, as were the appetizers and desserts. The only "downside" was that as long as the restaurant was open, the doors to the function rooms had to remain closed as much as possible. We enjoyed the location, the food and drinks, and the service from start to finish.

Never again! What a nasty experience. While waiting for the menu, I did order a Radler. The service was proper, but impersonal. It felt very rehearsed. The croquette sandwich contained only one slice of bread; I had expected two. €8.50 for the food, but I was shocked by the €6 they dared to charge for a standard Amtel Radler. That they want to make some money, okay... But this takes the cake. My travel companions had a similar experience; no more going to Krelis.

I ate here yesterday. Very tasty, but with the chicken ragout, you expect it in puff pastry. Instead, you get a small bowl with a sort of puff pastry triangles that are impossible to dip into the ragout, making a mess so you only eat crumbs, while you try to eat the ragout from the small bowl.

We had a delicious meal here. Everything was really fantastic!

We had another delicious meal at Krelis on Sunday from the small menu: braised beef and rib fingers. The staff is also very friendly and young. Good value for money.

The presentation of the food looked neat. The side dishes must be ordered separately; they were incredibly disappointing. The small bowl of cauliflower (which I wouldn't dare present like that) looked like baby food. The potato had been in the oven too long and wasn't crispy. The coffee for dessert was delicious. All in all, the price-food ratio is not balanced as far as we are concerned. We had indicated that we wanted to pay, but because a group of foreigners wanted to pay separately, it took exactly 25 minutes. Surely this could be handled differently; offer an apology or a drink/coffee for the delay. We were on the verge of just leaving, but courtesy held us back. All in all, we have no desire to return.

By far the Eshuijs family's favorite summer spot. The dishes taste just as good as they are presented. You can fill in the superlatives yourself. The waitresses and waitresses genuinely enjoy working there, and that is evident and palpable. Finally, for once, no bored Gen Z at your table who doesn't understand the difference between red and white wine, but a nice, efficient lady/girl/gentleman/boy who truly makes you feel welcome. And I haven't even mentioned the excellent wine list; in short, the best place to enjoy the summer!

Nice location, friendly staff...but...arrived at 19:15, got a drink and a bread roll fairly quickly. The starter was on the table within fifteen minutes; tasty ragout, highly recommended. The scallops were slightly burnt on the bottom, clearly cooked too hot and smothered in a lot of creamy sauce to mask the fact that there were only 3 small pieces. The risotto was okay but not very distinctive. After that, it took until 21:00 before we received our main course after insisting. A celeriac satay smothered in a bland peanut sauce (meh) and a duck duo. This was described as duck breast fillet and confit duck leg with blackberry jus and duxelles...none of that...a piece of duck breast (not even a whole fillet) poorly cooked on the skin, unfortunately not crispy but tough. And a bit of shredded beef with two dollops of tapenade that was supposed to represent the duxelles. No confit duck leg, no blackberry jus. Instead, 3 tough pieces of chips. Although this was denied, the dishes had clearly been left under the lamp for too long. When we complained, we were initially offered a complimentary cup of tea. Eventually, we received an apology and a sum was deducted from the bill. Krelis is a fine location for lunch or a drink, but if you want a good dinner, I would skip this place.

Last week with my grandchildren and yesterday with a friend. Excellent lunch dishes, including gluten-free options. Very satisfied with Fay's service.

Great place to take the kids, even the really young ones, to play on the great playground outside as well as the indoor playground and for the adults to enjoy a cup of coffee or a meal. The outdoor playground is fully fenced of, so no chance of Ur little ones wondering off. The staff is really friendly and the food was great. Definitely recommend for families

Outside on the benches outside the restaurant, service is also offered, but the wait for drinks is very long, and clearing the tables takes just as long, so the birds start helping themselves. The soda on offer is just water with sugar syrup. The food was okay—unfortunately quite bland, and the portions were small. Salt, pepper, and oil are not offered. Despite the restaurant being located at a campground, it wasn't particularly child-friendly. The price-performance ratio is unfortunately not good. On the other hand, the ambiance and atmosphere are very well-maintained and pleasant.

Had a lovely lunch today on the terrace at Krelis. Despite an unexpected rain shower, we sat comfortably under the parasol. Good dishes; we couldn't choose, so we each ordered two small dishes. Plus, friendly service. A gem on Lake Uitgeest.

Poor service, walk-ins are not possible, reservations only. Even though there was plenty of space, we were allowed to have a drink. We made a reservation on the spot at the table via the website and there was still plenty of room, so suddenly we were allowed to eat there.

Great lunch with friends and super friendly service.

The food was excellent, and the service was outstanding. To be honest, you don't often expect this level of service in the Netherlands. The staff were always smiling, attentive, and clearly knew what they were doing, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't on our side, so we didn't get the chance to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful terrace and garden. We will definitely be visiting Krelis again very soon!

It's a shame the main course wasn't warm. But after mentioning this, it was handled well and we got it back warm. Great service and nice atmosphere. I will definitely come back again.

It took a long time to get anything (the third lunch took a very long time). The salmon was TOO much and especially TOO much. Mayonnaise is not recommended; it could be prepared a bit more flavorful. The bench is LOW, so the table is a bit too high. I won't be coming back anytime soon.

We ordered the braised beef. I have to be honest, I found it quite tasteless. The sauce was watery and the braised beef wasn't really very tender. The fries were very tasty though, but well, that's not hard to say😇 A shame, especially since this restaurant is in a somewhat more expensive segment.

Drinks and starter served reasonably quickly. After that, I waited an hour and a quarter for the main course. The ribeye I ordered was almost cold. I got it back after about 10 minutes, warmed up (I think in the microwave). Unfortunately, for 32 euros, I really expect better quality. My partner's chicken satay was fine, though. The waiter was friendly and helpful. Regards from a somewhat disappointed customer.

What a lovely location, the perfect place for an atmospheric dinner....... On a "crazy day" (Wednesday), we decided to grab a bite to eat with our daughter, son-in-law, and two grandchildren. Pleasantly busy and lively, good attentive service, good division of tasks among the staff (you keep your own waiter), and that works well. We ordered a wide variety of dishes and, despite that, everything was served beautifully on time (and at the same time)........ What wonderful taste sensations, and clearly prepared by a chef with love for his work. The presentation was also very tasteful and added extra quality to the dishes! From the starter to the dessert, everything was taken care of down to the last detail; this is how you want to go out to eat, a great experience! From A to Z, a solid 10!

This restaurant is amazing. Not only did they accommodate our large group of 16 people for a celebratory dinner, but they offered us a separate upstairs room free of charge, with prosecco waiting for us on arrival! It was a picturesque setting, and the 3-course meal was UNREAL - truly great value for what you're getting. Our server was also super lovely and attentive even though it was very busy downstairs; we weren't left waiting long for food and drinks. 10/10 would recommend this place for any special occasion.

Excellent food on the expensive side.

Well, this wasn't a success! The toasted sandwich was dry. Only young cheese was available, no aged. But why didn't the kitchen offer Gruyère, which was served with another dish? Then you would have served me a more flavorful cheese. My dining companion had a ragout, but thought it resembled porridge more than a hearty, substantial ragout. Ordering was very chaotic in general. Good staff in the hospitality industry are hard to find, but a floor manager/host would have made all the difference. It was completely unclear who was in charge of all that young, inexperienced staff.

For a culinary highlight just outside Alkmaar, this is a fantastic place to enjoy good wines and beautiful dishes.

The service is excellent, the location is beautiful, it's a charming restaurant, the food is delicious, and the portions are generous. The Asian beef is truly fantastic! You can order fries on the side. There is a wide selection of different drinks. Highly recommended!

I have rarely encountered such an unwelcoming restaurant. It is located in the middle of a dog area, yet dogs are not allowed. When we asked if the music could be turned down a bit, we received a curt response. Please note: we were there with a group and could not hear each other. I would not go here for business meetings.

Really not amused. We are from Amsterdam, with my mother from South Amsterdam. We called around to three restaurants and thoroughly researched where someone with an ABI could sit and eat quietly and follow conversations, due to overstimulation and noise. We checked that the table by the three mirrors was far enough away from the large crowd in the main hall. We received confirmation that it was reserved for us. We were happy, because it is a challenge every single time. For people with ABI, this is a real problem. It turns out we are being seated right in the middle of the main hall after all... so you can't rely on it. We haven't ordered anything yet, but the atmosphere and experience are heavily influenced by it.

We had a delicious high tea. Vegetarian options are also available. We did have to pay an extra €5.50 for a bottle of tap water, which was offered to us as if it were included in the price. I think it's ridiculously expensive for tap water.

It feels like a camping canteen. The staff isn't friendly. Two couples in our group didn't order a starter at 6:30, and the others didn't get their main course until 8:30. Not recommended after having been there twice.

We really enjoyed it, the food was excellent, and the staff were all exceptionally friendly and helpful. We'd love to come back.
