I absolutely loved this snug little place! The owners are lovely. I had a panini, a stroopwaffel and an espresso, and it was perfect!

Panini chicken and cheese, 8 euro’s. Chicken was one slim slice of chicken instead of actual poeder of chicken. Tasted like nothing… You can get better sandwiches in Amsterdam for the same price.

Went here just after noon. While the opening hours suggest they should be open, they are not. Lights were off and nobody was home

It's always a treat to come here! The owner is friendly, has a sense of humor, and makes every visit a pleasant experience. Everything they sell is top quality—fresh, flavorful, and carefully prepared. My absolute favorite: the steak tartare sandwich. Fresh, well-seasoned, and always perfectly prepared. You come here not just for the bread, but also for the smiles they offer. Highly recommended!

Fantastic bakery with a great selection and full of freshly made Dutch pastries and melted cheese croissants. Also I found the prices much fairer than most places in Amsterdam

Nice, cozy bakery. The pastries are fresh and delicious. I really liked the cinnamon stick cookies. They also gave me a bun to take home and spread butter on it, I felt like a happy little baby 😁

Very nice bakery and pastry bakery in Westzaan just walk in and order what you want and then as icing on the cake it is delivered to your home for free! Because the store was closed on Monday. This little corner bakery near our apartment has the most delicious fresh baked goods! Croissants, pastries, bread, cookies and muffins all baked fresh onsite!! Highly recommend!

I went there every morning just for the great selection of bread. I asked the staff to make me a ham and cheese baguette... "sure, no problem"... "young cheese?" (which was gorgeous)... "with butter? (of course). This place is a gem. Friendly, cool atmosphere. Thoroughly recommended.

Everything perfect. We ordered a variety of tapas and that was enough. Very good quality and the service and kindness of the two waiters who served us were incredible. They serve you a lot of bread (very good) and free sauces and olives. In addition, they treated us to a very good chocolate mousse for dessert. We play at €15 per person. A 10/10.

Surprised this place doesn’t have a better rating. We tried the cherry flap, dutchie with apples, and almond cookies. All were delicious and tasted fresh. Will need to come back as there were many other options that looked great as well.

we LOVED this bakery. it was incredibly affordable and delicious. a cappuccino and fresh apple turnover was only €5.50. the owner is super nice and he looked like he enjoyed having a bakery. it had a small sitting area that we enjoyed. breakfast at two mornings in a row. highly recommend they had everything from muffins to cupcakes to cookies and croissants and cherry filled pastries.

Très jolie boulangerie. Le gérant est une personne adorable. Les produits sont excellents. Le banana bread et les muffins sont à tomber.

Das Brot und vor allem auch auch das süße Gebäck von der Bäckerei Verhagen schmeckt einfach großartig! Hochwertige Zutaten, alles hausgemacht! Das findet man auch in Amsterdam nur noch sehr selten. Kompliment auch für das Oranjegebäck zum Königstag.

This backery deserves a better rating! The bread is ALWAYS fresh and much better than in a regular grocery store. The apple pie is as Dutch apple pie should be - no fancy stuff, just straight to the apple point. And the rest of pastries as well - simple and tasty. Sandwiches are done right in front of you. And if you run out of milk and butter - you can grab some there as well. Is funny to read that some people mentioned rude staff - they are always there with the direct Dutchiness and smile, probably dealing with tons of tourists high as kite and still managing to stay polite! So stop being snowflakes and enjoy real Amsterdam!

Wonderful little bakery on the corner of the Keizersgracht canal and the Utrechtstraat, Amsterdam. They are always open so early in the morning, and there is always a wafting scent of fresh bread, croissant and Dutch cookies baking there.

My favorite place for fresh bread and cheese croissants!!

Crusty bread, young cheese and veggies—so good! Cappuccino and chocolate croissant was tasty too. This is a small spot in the corner where you can get hot coffee and fresh bread. There’s even a couple of chairs and a bench if you need a place to sit down for a few minutes. Most of the orders were for take-away.

The coffee was good and so was the pain au chocolate, but the cup for coffee was tiny, and was quite expensive. That's why the 3 stars. It was not special enough to charge that much. I found other bakeries in the area that were just as good, and charged half as much (with much larger cups for coffee).

I bought some coffee and a croissant in the morning - both were phenomenal, so I came back later in the day to buy some cookies to take home. Everybody loved them, it's crazy how many layers of flavor you built from flour, butter, sugar and salt. This is real craftsmanship! Worth every penny :) The carrot cake was great too!

Een kleine leuke bakkerij met een kleine kaart. Broodjes met verse groeten. Vriendelijke eigenaar. Croissant met ham en kaas is een aanrader. Niet goedkoop.

Goede bakker met een breed assortiment, verse belegde broodjes en goede koffie. Ik haal hier graag mijn lunch. Enige punt is dat het personeel de broodjes bereidt met blote handen en tussen de broodjes door niet de handen wast.

Geweldig lekker brood. Ook lekkere appeltaartjes. Prima bediening en coronaproof. Lekkere broodjes en koffie take away.(tijdens corona). Anders lekker binnen aan t raam.

Típica, ótimo atendimento e pães, bolos, salgados e doces maravilhosos. Tomamos o nosso café da manhã quase todos os 15 dias que estivemos em Amsterdã. As pessoas que trabalham lá, são muito agradáveis. Tudo o que comemos foi de qualidade e ainda trouxemos alguns bolos e biscoitos que fizeram muito sucesso entre os amigos aqui no Brasil.

Het is geweldig om een warme bakker op de hoek te hebben. We kopen hier vrijwel dagelijks brood. Favoriet is de zelfgebakken Waldkorn. Ook lekkere boterkoek en kwarkbollen. Vriendelijke bediening.
