Baomazing (foodhallen) in Feijenoord

Sesame balls were a banger, but besides that the portions of the xiao long bao were super small and quite a let down (especially for the price). The veggie bao was also not that great. Service works with a beeper system, all went fine. Foodhallen is a fun place to eat, but I would not come back to this place for Baomazing.

Ordered the shared plate for 2. Enjoyed all of it. With some chili oil. Flavours were OK, but I’d recommend to put some soy sauce on the side. Waiting period wasn’t too long on a Sunday evening.

I ordered the Lemon Pepper Wings, a very interesting flavor. Lots of different food. Fast service.

I ordered pad thai with tofu, and it was amazing, so was the service. A great place with delicious food!

We had a mixed dim-sum collection. It was very obviously composed of only frozen dimsum (baozi, siu mai, and xiao long bao). It did not taste great but also was not awful. However, the next day we woke up with extreme stomachaches and developed heavy food poisoning throughout the day! This should never happen, especially when the food isn’t even freshly bought but frozen. No one should consider going here as it is not safe, we are calling the health department.

Simple and delicious, just what my wife and I needed after a long day of cycling. We had the tasting set for two, which included pork buns, and everything was great. We'll definitely be back. Honestly, I don’t get the numerous negative reviews. I guess everyone has their own preferences, but we had no complaints about the food.

The food was super disappointing! Not a great dim sum experience unfortunately

I was hoping for an amazing experience. I agree with a previous review that the food seems processed. The pork/shrimp dim sum tasted like overmixed mystery meat. I had the chicken wonton soup also. It really didn’t seem worth the €20,25 I paid. I was disappointed too in the amount of waste from the meal, all paper etc. including the bowl.

We were really looking forward to dim sum. Ordered and the food arrived after 45 minutes. We were not entirely dissatisfied with that. However, when we saw the food we were already a bit disappointed. It didn't look very good. The food was also mostly cold. The Ha Kauw also tasted very strange and seemed expired or old. Imagine smelling a petting zoo. This is what the Ha Kauw tasted like... unfortunately we won't order from here again.

on the 24th of July I paid 15 euros for a bowl of rice with a few microwaved duck pieces for lunch, incredibly dry. Don't order food here, there are many better places around the place. Unfriendly girl behind the counter

Just had the crispy chicken rice bowl and it was absolutely incredible. The flavours between all the ingredients really came through and left me wanting to order another bowl (also the bao buns are great too!)

Loads of choice for food, so if you're with a large group (some of them fussy eaters), everyone will be satisfied.

Bao stand in the Foodhallen. We had a “you had me at veggie bao” for €7 and 3 pieces of veggie bao for €6 Flavor-wise, this is my favorite stand at the Foodhallen. The value for money is good. The bao paste for both snacks is excellent, it's well-filled and the sauce on the side is really good! I would like to try the rest of the menu next time! We were served slower than the other 2 stands but it wasn't too long either.

Little. Expensive and not so tasty

There is actually no reason for me to eat Chinese food at the Rotterdam Food Hall since Chinatown is close by. However the food here is quite delicious and the service excellent! Good enough reasons for me to dine here regularly. Give it a try when you are in the area. You won't regret it. Highly recommended.

Nice dim sum mixture. We went on a Tuesday afternoon so wasn’t busy but still took about 15 minutes.

Won Ton Noodle Soup, non-descript broth, undercooked noodles. Char Siu Bao, best likened to microwaved frozen pork buns. Far from authentic, but not inedible.

Extremely pricey, tiny food portions, and awful taste. This was a waste of money. Also, stingy with the tiny dishes of chilli oil - it was like pulling teeth trying to get more more serving of chilli oil for a bowl of noodles. As a Chinese person, this food calling itself Chinese or Asian is an embarrassment. Do not recommend. Try something else in this food court instead, like the Vietnamese Pho or the Indonesian rice stall opposite.

Very small portion, no noodles for as much as €14. The price does not match the quality!!! The spoon we received was flat and impossible to eat with. We drank the soup from a paper plate.

Foodhallen altijd leuk en bij Baomazing lekker eten

The food at this place is decent but not outstanding. The veggie Bao Buns and Curry Triangles lacked some flavor. The food hall is nicely decorated but can get noisy.

Eten en bediening perfect. Muziek veeeeeel te hard. Kan elkaar amper verstaan. Nergens voor nodig zo hard. Ga ik wel naar de disco.

Wir bestellten die gemischte Dim Sum - Platte für 2 Personen. Das Essen war sehr lecker, wenngleich zu teuer für das gebotene. Der Empfang am Stand und beim bestellen; mindestens ein Lächeln sollte man hinbekommen wenn man im Dienstleistungsbereich arbeitet und auf zufriedene Kunden angewiesen ist.

Abends sehr laut, daher gegangen. Nachmittags o.k. Essen einfach . Für deutsche Verhältnisse für das gebotene zu hochpreisig.

Great dim sum for reasonable prices. We had the 4-person sampler €36.50 that we liked so much that we ordered a second. Rather stuffed after that, but very satisfying.

We found this wonderful spot within the Foodhallen food court. We had entered the court to enjoy a beer, the atmosphere and a little food. A fellow traveler suggested this eatery. We ordered the Dim Sum selection for two. We were given a beeper and told to find ourselves a table. Within a few minutes our beeper went off and we went to collect our order. This consisted to two portions of seven different varieties of Dim Sum. These came with a little vessel of dipping sauce. Each item was delicious and we highly recommend this establishment.

Tolles Konzept, für jeder was dabei. Leider ohne Bedienung, deshalb ist man ständig in Bewegung und man sitzt kaum gemütlich gemeinsam am Tisch.

Très bon bao. Sous leurs formes traditionnelles ou en baoburger, tout est très bon et frais! Le service est rapide, de la prise de commande a la réception du plat! Le travail est bien fait! Comme tous les restaurants asiatiques, les desserts ne sont pas leur fort mais il y a dans ce foodcourt de quoi se contenter!

De Foodhallen in Rotterdam is een leuke locatie om iets te gaan eten! Veel keuze met vele verschillende opties! Alleen het is wel over prized, 5.50 euro voor een speciaal blik biertje is echt teveel, en 33 euro voor eten waarbij je mag eten met houten vorkjes kan echt niet. Geef dan gewoon echt goed bestek mee wat je kunt afwassen, miste wel een restaurant ervaring die je voor die hoge prijs wel zou moeten verwachten

Erg lekkere dim sum. Goed om te zien dat ze vers gemaakt worden ipv opgewarmd uit de koelkast. Gezellige omgeving met fijne sfeer.

Very nice and calm atmosphere. My friend and I went there around 1pm on a Thursday and it was pretty empty and quiet which was great as we could hear only our own conversation without too much sensory overload. The food was great too. I only wish they didn't rely so much on pre-made drinks from different brands but also made some cocktails and/or fresh lemonades.

Ondanks dat we hier op maandagavond waren, was het toch gezellig. Niet zo druk, je was overal meteen aan de beurt.

38 minutes waiting for a “You had me at veggie” to end up saying that u dont have that item in stock, so finally game me 3 cold inside veggie baos. Sad

gezellige plek om een hapje te eten. Voor ieder wat wils qua keuken! Ook een fijne plek om snel te lunchen. Heerlijke springrolls!

Very friendly staff and the food was nice but nothing too special

Leuk concept, beetje jammer dat er weinig tafels voor meer dan 4 mensen zijn. Iedereen kan naar eigen smaak bestellen, de één antilliaans, de ander Japans bv.

Ik had me verheugd op een heerlijke bao bun. Maar ik kreeg een veel te lang gebakken stukje gepaneerde kip, op een blaadje groen en een stukje wortel. Afgemaakt met een (kant en klare?) saaie chilisaus. Kip,was hard en bitter. De bun zelf was wel goed. De dame en heer achter de balie hadden het in ieder geval wel naar hun zin. Ik niet zo…..
