Truly the nicest bar in all of Amsterdam. The cocktails are delicious and the staff provides top quality service. I celebrated my 25th birthday here and I had the night of my life!

Sensational. Knowledgable bartenders, good music and amazing cocktails. We had the salsa Verde, mango mezcal margarita, great Gatsby and the clarified bloody Mary. Can't recommend this cocktail bar enough.

If you love tequila and mezcal, you have to come! It's an authentic place and believe me, you don't have to go there to drink another alcohol. Of course you can, but the truth is, go and live the experience with tequila and mezcal. Bram & Valter will make you a wonderful night full of knowledge and happiness! I had "La Piña", which was served in a beautiful bowl and tasted delicious (smokey and spicy, but the flavors work together very well). We sat outside in sub 10 degree weather but it was quite warm thanks to the lights.

It's a very good Tequila&Mescal Bar in the town. We tried the Mango-Margarita (but with some chili 🥵) it was nice but i think without chili would be better!

This was a great place we visited on a weekday. It was quiet as expected but the bartender(s) helped the night go so well. We were chatting the whole time we were there and he was absolutely lovely.

hate that bars charge you to use the bathroom but that’s probably just an american sentiment. other than that this place is great!

I'm not much of a cocktail person but the Oaxacan old fashioned was perhaps the best drink I've ever had. Staff were really friendly as well and know their craft. Loved it.

We sat at the bar and were entertained all night watching how they prepare the drinks. The bartenders are true artists, they prepare each drink with great care and dedication. They are friendly and definitely knowledgeable. It is quite an experience, I loved all the drinks.

The other reviews are correct...... Until Saturday after 10pm! Craft Tequila bar, passionate bartender, nice music. Then at 10pm the metamorphosis: stag/hen parties come in for shots and the hardcore music goes on!

The Mezcal Espresso Martini was fantastic! Recommended by our server and did not disappoint. Delicious mezcal options, as well.

Each drink was a masterpiece, expertly balanced with flavors that danced on the palate. Barman's passion for mixology was evident in every concoction he presented, and his own innovative creations are beyond words. He even took the time to explain the ingredients and techniques behind his signature drinks. This is the place to enjoy excellent cocktails. This is the place to go if you want to enjoy one of the best cocktails of your life. Better than any place in Amsterdam, even better than most of the overrated cocktail bars on the same street. The setup is on point. The music was excellent and at the right volume. Also, the service is something you rarely experience in Amsterdam; hands off to the young bartender who just started there, his cocktails are out of this world. A Mexican-oriented cocktail bar with good cocktails and very friendly service. Everything was fine, but because a previously visited cocktail bar in Ghent was even better in all areas, it still received 'only' 4 stars.

Amazing cocktails that are surprisingly different from your standard cocktail selection but all very nice. Menu doesn’t list alcohol free options but if you ask they’ll make you something delicious.

I didn’t intend on seeking out a tequila/mezcal bar whilst in Dam but I stumbled upon this place and Ryan has served the absolute best Spicy Margarita and Mezcal Espresso Martini I have ever had the pleasure of consuming. Come here if you want a great cocktail. I don’t know a place in London that matches here!

Beste Cocktailbar die ich bisher besuchen durfte! Wir sind zufällig auf die Bar aufmerksam geworden, da wir eine Location gesucht haben, welche etwas Abseits vom Massentourismus des Zentrums liegt. Wir wurden von den Inhabern persönlich begrüßt und herzlich empfangen. Man hat uns zunächst ausführlich zu den verschiedenen angebotenen Cocktails beraten und die ein oder andere interessante Geschichte erzählt. Insgesamt hat man gemerkt, dass die Bar mit viel Herzblut und Leidenschaft betrieben wird. Noch nie zuvor habe ich so gute, und vor allem ausgefallene Cocktails probiert. Ein absoluter Geheimtipp in Amsterdam!!

A very nice and rather modern bar. The waiter was very courteous and when asked explained to us in detail how the drinks are made. The drinks were great and the bartender even made some special drink wishes outside of the menu. All in all a very enjoyable experience.

Ik heb laatst een heerlijke cocktail bij bar Bacan gedronken. Er is een gezellige sfeer en barman Xander zorgt ervoor dat je een leuke avond hebt.

Leuke plek de barmannen maken het een 5/5 goeie service ze maken ook soms cocktails die niet op het menu staan als je iets specifieks wil. Prijzen wel aan de duurdere kant maar niet wat niet normaal is in amsterdam.

When we came in we immediately received a glass of delicious tap water and I wish more bars would do that, much appreciated. The bartender and cocktails were great too.

Walked into this place randomly and it is absolutely lovely. Tastefully decorated, bartender has great taste in music (e.g. Drake) and expertise in tequila. They no longer serve food, so I can't comment on that, but I really enjoyed the atmosphere and stellar service. Most relaxed I have felt in weeks, will definitely be back

The cocktails are excellent, come pretty fast, and the bartenders are professional too. The bar is pretty small, not too crowded, and there are some tables outside where you can smoke - overall a very chilled bar. Still not really my thing for more than one cocktail. I miss an individual style, and for me it’s too empty sometimes. Nevertheless it‘s worth a stop to have a great drink, especially if you like Tequila or Mezcal.

Amsterdams best kept secret. Impossible to really say if its the best cocktail bar in the Netherlands, but its most likely the most well thought of drinks ive had in awhile. The drinks are well balanced, creative, and even on busy times, each drink came out like its ready fir competition. The owner Xander and his partner in crime knows their mezcal and has won multiple competitions. The atmosphere is friendly and never pretentious. Each drink is an experience not just a drink. They make chocolates in house. And if your not sure about mezcal, ask for the flight, he tends to tailor the flight to your palate kinda like that Jiro dreams of sushi documentary. We tried multiple places around the EU, and have to say this is my favorite place.
