A quality cocktail bar in the center of Amsterdam! Very good cocktails and quality service! I highly recommend a visit.

Stellar. The place is small and cozy, charming atmosphere and a solid cocktail collection. Great spin-offs from the classics and some amazing original creations. Makes you want to try the whole menu 😅

The venue itself is beautiful. As soon as you walk in, someone welcomes you very warmly, which immediately gives a great first impression. I can’t be quite as positive about the menu, though. I have quite a lot of experience with cocktail bars and cocktail menus, and for me, the menu simply wasn’t very easy to understand. It wasn’t always clear which spirit or type of alcohol was used in each cocktail or what it was combined with. The menu seems to focus mainly on the top and base flavour notes, which made it a little difficult to know what to expect. Apart from that, the presentations, flavours and little surprises were all excellent! The different flavour notes came through very clearly, the alcohol balance was just right, and the atmosphere was wonderful. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, and the service was quick. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience. Thank you! 🍸✨

Unique creations. Absolutely delicious. Prices are around €15 per cocktail, and some are quite small… but the taste is a completely new experience!! No run-of-the-mill cocktails here.

We were so fortunate to find this Gem and stay for 4 nights. The owners are wonderful & staff so kind. Everything was perfect and the bed was incredible!!! It's a prime location and vibe for a relaxing stay in Amsterdam. I highly recommend staying here. Its fun going through the secret door to your room for a true speakeasy style.

We had a wonderful evening here. We were lucky enough to get a table at short notice without a reservation and received very friendly service. The cocktails were delicious and, above all, something different. We felt like we were in Alice in Wonderland!

A sweet unexpected find as we were exploring Amsterdams canals. I visited two years ago and the amazing cocktails, service and atmosphere are still on my mind to this day, so much so that I had to leave this belated review. We ordered three different cocktails and you can really taste the expertise and care put in the making of them. The interior and lighting make you feel like you are travelling back in time. We had such a nice time conversing with the bartender as well, who took his time to explain to us the story behind each drink. Truly a delightful and insightful experience. Next time I'm in Amsterdam I'd love to give the hotel a try as well.

From Moscow, to Medellin, this place is top notch.

While in Amsterdam for a business trip, my colleagues and I stumbled upon Rosalia's Menagerie. We enjoyed their crafted, tasty cocktails and the ambiance so much that we ended up going back a second time just two nights later on. The staff are very friendly and attentive -- regularly refilling our water glasses without prompting. The music was amazing and I can see why they promote their Spotify playlist on the backside of the menu. The menu itself also includes absolutely stunning floral illustrations. Everything about Rosalia's Menagerie demonstrates intention and a strong point-of-view. I can't wait to go back to Amsterdam to visit again!

Located beneath a small boutique hotel, the entrance feels hidden and guests ring a bell to be let in, which adds to the experience. The decor is creative and quirky while still feeling warm and inviting. The cocktail menu changes seasonally and the drinks we tried were excellent. The service also stood out and made the experience feel welcoming from start to finish. Overall, a memorable cocktail bar and one of the more unique spots we visited in Amsterdam.

Amazing and unexpected cocktails! Depending on your taste I recommend the Navy Genarium, the Chrysanthemum Paloma and 5o clock ol fashioned. You can also try the Surprise colada for a cool presentation and a... surprise ;)

Lovely gem of a cocktail place. You need to ring the bell outside to come in. The bartenders were both friendly & professional, had lovely chat with Gabrielle, his service manners were excellent 💯. Had 3 wonderful old fashioned. Located very near the red district so times don't t run until too late. Worth a visit!! A very intimate place.

Lovely place! We didn’t find the entrance right away. But as soon as the door opened, it was exactly what we were looking for—and even better. Inside, it’s very cozy. The bartenders are kind and friendly. The design is beautiful, with candles and fresh tulips on the tables. We tried the Colada cocktail with “special ice,” as the bartender Paolo called it. There’s also a second step to the drink—you’ll understand later why the ice is special! We highly recommend this place and will come back with more friends. The attention to detail was impressive—one drink even used pepper to enhance the aroma and flavor in a really unique way that elevated the entire experience. It’s clear the staff put real care and craftsmanship into what they do and they were genuinely kind and welcoming. The atmosphere was cozy, dimly lit, and intimate with candlelight that made it feel warm. Overall, a really well-executed cocktail experience and somewhere I would absolutely return to!!

We were there in the evening, after dinner, and it was a fantastic experience. The bartenders are incredibly friendly and sociable, chatting with everyone and explaining the cocktails. They work brilliantly, very efficient, organized, and knowledgeable. The cocktails were spectacular, expertly prepared, with attention to detail and innovative. The ambiance is dimly lit, with sofas, tables, and bar stools. Watching the cocktails being made was a real spectacle. Highly, highly recommended.

They were also very accommodating when it came to individual tastes, happy to adjust or recommend drinks based on what we liked. For instance, the bartender created an off-menu cocktail for me, based off my preferences and inspired by one of the mocktails on the menu. After our first cocktail, we decided to try another one of their creations and it did not disappoint at all. It’s a spot I would definitely recommend and come back to!!

As soon as I saw this hotel when I was doing research for my trip, I looked no further. This hotel was SO charming! We felt so at home here from the moment we walked in. It's small - only 6 perfect rooms. Which we love. They thought of every detail in the rooms and we wanted for nothing. They have a fabulous breakfast in the morning, that provided a great start to the days. The location was perfect and the downstairs level turns into a bar at night. We had a lovely canal view and plenty of room to move around. I cannot recommend staying here enough!

During a school trip to Amsterdam, between March 30th and April 2nd, we went to this bar for a drink 🍹 The welcome was friendly, with very kind staff ☺️ The place is truly beautiful, with an intimate setting and a real atmosphere. The menu is also original and well-presented, like an old encyclopedia of flowers, which adds to the charm of the place 🪻 The ginger aperitif was actually very good, a pleasant surprise. However, the drink I had was quite bitter, with a taste reminiscent of old cigarettes, and very strong 😅 I even had to dilute it with water to make it easier to drink.

This is my second visit to this wonderful establishment. I cannot begin to describe the complex and rich flavor profile of both the atmosphere and drinks. Additionally, the customer service of the waiters is exceptional, I always feel very welcome and at home since they are Italian. The warm glow of the swan candle makes the visit just that much more specials. Truly an Amsterdam hotspot.

Me and my partner went there on Valentine's day. It was a very good experience, we were first seated on the bar, and when a table was available they kindly informed us and we changed seats. Rosana and Edoardo took excellent care of us. We had 4 drinks and the cheese+mustard. It was a very lovely evening!

You have to wait a very long time to get a seat; even though there was only one table in front of us, we waited for almost an hour. When we finally got in, we were seated in a cramped spot, and naturally, you can't enjoy it at all. The cocktails are tiny, there are no complimentary snacks, the service is very slow, and because of the high price, it's not worth it.

We spent 48 hours in this timeless hotel, beautifully decorated, with a superb, intimate speakeasy bar. Our room was spacious, lovely, and comfortable, with top-notch bedding and impeccable cleanliness. It offered a view of the canal, complimentary tea, coffee, juice, sodas, chocolates, and chips, and a very good, fresh breakfast. The staff was friendly and professional, and the owners were very kind, readily available, and happy to provide information about markets, places to visit, and shopping. We will definitely return. The only slight drawback is that parking in the city center is horribly expensive and not secure. It's much better to use private parking lots, where the price is very reasonable and your car is safe. I highly recommend this magnificent place; go without hesitation. Thank you! Mrs. Serradj

Super duper cocktails, not for the faint hearted. Very bohemian atmosphere and attentive service. Breakfast to die for if you are staying here. Convenient central location with a very good bar nearby - the Archangel. If you are visiting Amsterdam… why would you stay anywhere else?

Just, amazing!!! Everything was incredible. Rachel, the manager, what a lovely person. She made us feel so welcome, and also filled our room with balloons (honeymoon!!). We had the craziest night of our lives when we walked through the door of this cocktail bar. We were blown away from the first second until the very end. We understood NOTHING about the concept or the menu (it doesn't list any cocktails or ingredients, just "flavors": you have to find the flavors you like, tell them to the bartenders, and they make a cocktail that matches them). We weren't the only ones who didn't get it; our neighbors were too. We ended up ordering a cocktail at random; the service alone was a show, and it was delicious. A place you ABSOLUTELY MUST visit.

Did not try the small bites, however the cocktails were amazing. Please expect to wait outside, it is a small but cozy place.
