While in Amsterdam for a business trip, my colleagues and I stumbled upon Rosalia's Menagerie. We enjoyed their crafted, tasty cocktails and the ambiance so much that we ended up going back a second time just two nights later on. The staff are very friendly and attentive -- regularly refilling our water glasses without prompting. The music was amazing and I can see why they promote their Spotify playlist on the backside of the menu. The menu itself also includes absolutely stunning floral illustrations. Everything about Rosalia's Menagerie demonstrates intention and a strong point-of-view. I can't wait to go back to Amsterdam to visit again!

Located beneath a small boutique hotel, the entrance feels hidden and guests ring a bell to be let in, which adds to the experience. The decor is creative and quirky while still feeling warm and inviting. The cocktail menu changes seasonally and the drinks we tried were excellent. The service also stood out and made the experience feel welcoming from start to finish. Overall, a memorable cocktail bar and one of the more unique spots we visited in Amsterdam.

Lovely gem of a cocktail place. You need to ring the bell outside to come in. The bartenders were both friendly & professional, had lovely chat with Gabrielle, his service manners were excellent 💯. Had 3 wonderful old fashioned. Located very near the red district so times don't t run until too late. Worth a visit!! A very intimate place.

Lovely place! We didn’t find the entrance right away. But as soon as the door opened, it was exactly what we were looking for—and even better. Inside, it’s very cozy. The bartenders are kind and friendly. The design is beautiful, with candles and fresh tulips on the tables. We tried the Colada cocktail with “special ice,” as the bartender Paolo called it. There’s also a second step to the drink—you’ll understand later why the ice is special! We highly recommend this place and will come back with more friends. What really stood out for me was the menu—there’s a well curated selection of cocktails with very interesting flavour combinations. The cocktails are creative and everything we tried was genuinely delicious. The staff was very nice and helpful when it came to answering any questions and explain the menu. They were also very accommodating when it came to individual tastes, happy to adjust or recommend drinks based on what we liked. For instance, the bartender created an off-menu cocktail for me, based off my preferences and inspired by one of the mocktails on the menu. After our first cocktail, we decided to try another one of their creations and it did not disappoint at all. It’s a spot I would definitely recommend and come back to!!

As soon as I saw this hotel when I was doing research for my trip, I looked no further. This hotel was SO charming! We felt so at home here from the moment we walked in. It's small - only 6 perfect rooms. Which we love. They thought of every detail in the rooms and we wanted for nothing. They have a fabulous breakfast in the morning, that provided a great start to the days. The location was perfect and the downstairs level turns into a bar at night. We had a lovely canal view and plenty of room to move around. I cannot recommend staying here enough!

This is my second visit to this wonderful establishment. I cannot begin to describe the complex and rich flavor profile of both the atmosphere and drinks. Additionally, the customer service of the waiters is exceptional, I always feel very welcome and at home since they are Italian. The warm glow of the swan candle makes the visit just that much more specials. Truly an Amsterdam hotspot.

During a school trip to Amsterdam, between March 30th and April 2nd, we went to this bar for a drink 🍹 The welcome was friendly, with very kind staff ☺️ The place is truly beautiful, with an intimate setting and a real atmosphere. The menu is also original and well-presented, like an old encyclopedia of flowers, which adds to the charm of the place 🪻 The ginger aperitif was actually very good, a pleasant surprise. However, the drink I had was quite bitter, with a taste reminiscent of old cigarettes, and very strong 😅 I even had to dilute it with water to make it easier to drink.

Me and my partner went there on Valentine's day. It was a very good experience, we were first seated on the bar, and when a table was available they kindly informed us and we changed seats. Rosana and Edoardo took excellent care of us. We had 4 drinks and the cheese+mustard. It was a very lovely evening!

You have to wait a very long time to get a seat; even though there was only one table in front of us, we waited for almost an hour. When we finally got in, we were seated in a cramped spot, and naturally, you can't enjoy it at all. The cocktails are tiny, there are no complimentary snacks, the service is very slow, and because of the high price, it's not worth it.

We spent 48 hours in this timeless hotel, beautifully decorated, with a superb, intimate speakeasy bar. Our room was spacious, lovely, and comfortable, with top-notch bedding and impeccable cleanliness. It offered a view of the canal, complimentary tea, coffee, juice, sodas, chocolates, and chips, and a very good, fresh breakfast. The staff was friendly and professional, and the owners were very kind, readily available, and happy to provide information about markets, places to visit, and shopping. We will definitely return. The only slight drawback is that parking in the city center is horribly expensive and not secure. It's much better to use private parking lots, where the price is very reasonable and your car is safe. I highly recommend this magnificent place; go without hesitation. Thank you! Mrs. Serradj

Just, amazing!!! Everything was incredible. Rachel, the manager, what a lovely person. She made us feel so welcome, and also filled our room with balloons (honeymoon!!). We had the craziest night of our lives when we walked through the door of this cocktail bar. We were blown away from the first second until the very end. We understood NOTHING about the concept or the menu (it doesn't list any cocktails or ingredients, just "flavors": you have to find the flavors you like, tell them to the bartenders, and they make a cocktail that matches them). We weren't the only ones who didn't get it; our neighbors were too. We ended up ordering a cocktail at random; the service alone was a show, and it was delicious. A place you ABSOLUTELY MUST visit.

We did strumble in by lucky accident while looking at the city before dinner reservations. Its such a nice and cozy place. There are not too many tables so u got to be lucky to get a seat. You ring the bell and have to wait at the door until let in. The service was great, everyone was so nice and friendly. The Drinks are not your usual, borinh Cocktails but creative in name and taste, in a good way. Drinksbwere great! We stayed here for my birthday (3 nights) because a friend recommended it - and this is us passing along the recommendation to whoever reads this. You won’t regret staying here and/or enjoying cocktails. The owners made my birthday special with room decorations, two free cocktails, and just overall being extremely helpful and kind. The service was great and the breakfast was delicious, as well. We’d explore during the day and end our night with a cocktail here. The bartenders are exceptional and really go out of their way to give you a one-of-a-kind experience. It’s also a great, central location. We’ll definitely stay here again. VERY cool place! It's a tiny bar with only a sign on the door and you must buzz to be let in and only if there's room. There's very limited space so better with a small group (2-4 people). The cocktails are very fancy and fun and the ambiance is super cool. It's expensive but you get what you pay for and you pay for quality and super interesting cocktail design. We did not order food so cannot comment on that.

A bar like it used to be: loud, laughing, and good pints. The DJ plays what he wants, the crowd does what they want. Sometimes a bit edgy, sometimes hilarious. The staff keeps things under control with a wink. Never boring, always something to talk about.
