Nice place, but it was very busy, making it difficult to reach the staff. The drinks themselves were good, and the atmosphere remained pleasant.

A trendy bar, and alright overall. However, given the name, I was expecting something different. Aside from a few pictures, it didn't have much to do with Bukowski.

very unprofessional and rude service from the waitstaff during our visit. At the time there were 2 female waitresses whose behaviour made the atmosphere uncomfortable, lack of courtesy, they seem jealous to see a well dressed women. Avoid this place please. I hope management addresses this, as it negatively affected the entire experience.

Great place to grab a drink and some snacks! The outdoor area is perfect for bigger groups—we had around 12–14 people and it worked out great. Even though it was busy, the service was solid and everything ran smoothly.

The salad was fine, but the price-quality ratio was a bit poor. A small glass of wine cost €7, which kept me from getting a second glass. The Pinot Grigio wasn't that good... for that price, the quality could be better. The place is nice, good ambiance, etc.

Perfect for lunch and coffee or tea, alone, with a friend, or a group! It's a great, upscale spot for drinks, but the evenings attract a crowd of young people under 30. During the day, it's nicely mixed in terms of age and type. Lots of lunch options, creative and delicious, with plenty of healthy and vegetarian options. Not overly expensive. Lots of fresh produce and excellent food! The outdoor seating is noisy but cozy, while the inside is diverse and cozy, though a bit cramped in the second area. It offers plenty of privacy and good seating, making it a great place to work.

The coffee is great! Unfortunately, the cakes are pre-bought and overpriced.

Delicious quesadillas as an appetizer before we started on the bubowski burger. It took a little longer for the burger to arrive, but the food was delicious and the staff super friendly!

I had a quick drink here before dinner, but didn't eat here. I'd never been before, and although it looks small, this bar offers a surprisingly large interior divided into different seating areas. There's a bar, window seats, upstairs seating, and a separate room. All are cozy, inviting, and tastefully decorated, with the side room featuring some wonderful murals that everyone can appreciate for themselves. The service is very friendly and not exclusively businesslike, and I can easily imagine spending a wonderful, enjoyable evening at Bar Bukowski.

Stopped by for a snack and drink. Lovely location next to Oosterpark. Bitterballen were a lot burnt after the waitress forgot to order them the first time we placed the order. I guess you go here for the location and not the food.

A great old pub with good drinks. They also offer small fast food options. The staff is quick and very friendly.

Good bar. A wide selection of drinks, ordered the Negroni which was nice. The bar is located next to a busy street so the outside area can be a bit loud sometimes, better sit inside.

Good place to sip nice cocktails at Oosterpark. However, it was very crowded and the first round was a long time coming. But to be expected with the sunny weather, everything was fine :) Bloody Mary was great. Prices are okay. There were also snacks. Pornstar Martini was served cool. Somehow I end up in this bar every time I visit Amsterdam xD See you soon!

Came here for breakfast, lovely scrambled eggs and toast....and the best coffee I had tasted in Amsterdam in 5 days being here.

Had breakfast here this morning, it was still very quiet but there was still a cozy and relaxed atmosphere. The breakfast menu is extensive and versatile, we enjoyed it. The service was very good and friendly.

Ordered a HOMEMADE LEMONADE- flavour lemon and basil. It came served in a small glass, containing tap water, 3 ice cubes and a barely noticeable splash of some sugar syrup without any taste. The price? Proud 5 euros for that amazing drink which is actually just water, let’s be honest here. A ripoff and totally not worth it. We all know how homemade lemonades are served elsewhere. With taste and in a glass of a proper size. The prices at Bar Bukowski are way higher compared to other even more central and prettier hotspots in Amsterdam - also not necessary considering the location. Waiters - so so, depends who you get. One was rude & obviously hating his job and English speaking clients, another one was very friendly and attentive. Anyways, just adjust your prices or lemonades please, it‘s a bit sad.

Went here to celebrate out championship, a lot of happy people but the personnel could not be bothered to provide any service. They need to get better people especially for Saturday evenings!

No welcome feeling. Rude staff member in the evening who doesn't look at you and doesn't say thank you when paying and starts shouting at you if you make a comment about it.

On our Amsterdam trip we came here for breakfast everyday. They have a really tasty options both for vegetarians and with meat. Highly recommend the eggs! The service and the Ambiente are great as well. The prices are very fair - you get a breakfast for 8-15 Euros depending what you want. Worth a visit!

A pleasant and cheerful atmosphere, appetizing snacks, several types of good quality beers, and a clean bathroom – unfortunately, nothing that would please Bukowski. It's worth visiting the bar and spending some quality time at the bar/restaurant.

O stumbled upon this place because it was in the neighborhood where I was staying. I wanted a quick breakfast and it was a very pleasant surprise. I got a green shake with kale, apple, and a banana, with lots of pulp. Very refreshing! For the main course, I had a coconut yogurt and a fresh fruit bowl. It was the perfect amount , very fresh, and flavorful. Very fast service. I'm very pleased and would definitely come back to see what they have in store for dinner.

Chilled bar in the heart of Amsterdam. Easy to reach by public transport. Very tasty cocktails, some of them very unusual creations.

Cool location for young and old. Music was a bit too loud for us, it was difficult to have a conversation. There are radiant heaters outside, which is also a great place to sit and talk. But music is good

"This is us at 8:53, just kicked out because the opening time was at 9." We were unaware of the exact opening time when we arrived at this place. The doors were open, so we entered and sat down, hoping to have a nice breakfast with our two young daughters—one is a toddler of 18 months, and the other a newborn, barely a month old. We were the only ones in the room since the place has two sections. At 8:53, we went to the counter to place our order. That’s when the staff, with a rather irritated tone, reminded us that we had entered too early and asked us to leave. We were just seven minutes ahead of the official opening time, and instead of being greeted with understanding, we were shown the door. We have always loved the atmosphere here, and it has been a go-to spot for us. But this experience was truly disappointing. Being turned away like that, especially with two very young children, felt unnecessary and lacking in empathy. We understand rules, but there’s always room for kindness, especially when it’s just a matter of a few minutes.

I order a Nojito (Mocktail Mojito), I tell the waitress Clearly that I want a Mocktail, she comes back with an alcoholic Mojito. I ask her again if it has alcohol in it and she said yes. I understand that mistakes can happen and there is nothing to do about these kinds of cases. But when I look in the menu under Cocktail there are no Mojito's under there!!! Which makes me think why you would come back with something that is not even in the menu!!! Really bad service here I am never coming back!

Nice place, delicious food, and friendly staff

Waitress was very kind but the Spritz were not made correctly. The ratio of aperol/campari was substantially low, to the point that it has no color and just tasted like a watered down version. I asked the bartender to correct it but he refused- saying he had put a shot of aperol… maybe google the recipe and you would know an aperol spritz is not only a shot of aperol. Would expect better from this place and for the price.

Cool cocktail bar — okay this is a weird gripe, but I think the menu is just a bit too long, like the true hallmark of cocktail par excellence is to do a couple of things and do them incredibly well. This bar has it all, but that also implies a certain shallowness to the quality, given its mostly Gen-Z mostly not cocktail trained staff is pouring from cheat-sheets rather than experience with hard liquor. That being said, if you’re looking for a decent enough plenty hip place to strut your stuff in east Bar Bukowski will do. Expect East prizes. One tiny thing that I think they missed is the bathrooms. There’s quite a lot of thought put into the interior, but then the toilets feel like high school but slightly cleaner. For me a lack of bathroom stool creativity is what can make or break the vibe of a place — but it’s good to leave room for improvement

Bar Bukowski is the perfect spot to spend your Friday and Saturday nights! It’s a bar I’d refer to as local but also international. Their food may not be their specialty, but the atmosphere and the drinks make up for it. The vibe is always buzzing, filled with the sounds of laughter and lively conversation. It’s the kind of place where you feel like you can talk to everyone thanks to the “gezelling” (cozy and sociable) ambiance. The staff is always very friendly, they always try their best to ensure you have a great experience.

The lemonades weren't my favorite but otherwise it's a cool place to hang out with friends for a drink.

This is a nice Café located on the outskirts of Oosterpark. The overal location and atmosphere make it into a great way to hydrate and talk during the heat which the summer brings with it. I personally had one of the lemonades and it tasted very good. A nice refreshment.

Bar Bukowski is a nice pub with plenty of seating and a good cocktail bar. Where they have a wide choice of drinks on the menu. It is in a nice atmospheric location next to the Oosterpark (pity about the junkies) in a nice area of ​​Amsterdam. The real highlight of Bar Bukowski, however, is the great service you receive from Ramon, among others. A charming and very nice bartender, who isn't half bad looking either. Ramon ensures that every customer is provided and feels welcomed. What a great guy!!!!

A little bit of a disappointment. It has 2 pictures of Bukowski on taps and each are for spring water. The individual in question is arguably an anti-social alcoholic. I asked what was on tap and they said Heineken. So like everywhere else. I would like to think these are placeholders for other beers to come since the individual is pretty hardcore to the extent he is challenging for anyone to read. He is very subversive and not to be taken at face value.

great place after long session at the olvg hospital across the street. the lighting above the bar is amazing, the 9 cameras intriguing. nice atmosphere young hipsters on chatgpt, old hipsters enjoying a beer and me some vodka shots with the bartender waiting for the rain to pass. life is good.

Bukowski is a great spot just a few steps from Oosterpark, indoor and outdoor seating, great beers, friendly kind staffs. Atmosphere is laid back and the food was excellent and fair priced. Their salads are really unexpectedly delicious. One of my favorite places in Oost.

Went there for drinks on a Friday evening. Full of teenagers in their 20s who are ready to fight for a spot at the bar. Not a very nice spot to enjoy a drink quietly in your corner. Staff is nice, bartenders are efficient.
