Very disappointing experience. I asked for an Aperol Spritz to go — they said no. Then wine to go — also no. I asked for a cappuccino — they didn’t have one either. Finally, I simply asked if I could charge my phone for five minutes, and they rudely refused, saying I couldn’t charge it unless I bought something — even though I had tried several times to order something from them. I felt very unwelcome. Extremely unfriendly and unhelpful service.

Very good wine bar but the service is a bit slow

What a place!! I feel so connected to the city and people when I go here, they’re all so welcoming and wonderful. I recommend everyone to go here. The food is the best in the city and the service is 10/10, thank you!!

Nice place to sit for a wine & snacks but incredibly rude staff. Blonde waiter with the buzzcut was clearly not in the mood to talk and didn’t feel like helping us. We had to go and ask him twice. When we finally got him to come to the table he didn’t say a word. Super unwelcoming, but apparently I’m not the first one to experience this.

Went into this establishment with my family on vacation from the states. As tourists we were treated terribly. Kicked us out of outside seating when a group left and gave us their seats only to be sat inside and told when something came up outside we would be placed back out there. They never even bothered looking for an outside seat for us. We watched others come and go. Locals laughed when he spoke to us in Dutch and we spoke English. Disgusting and disrespectful. We only hope that when you come to USA you are treated with respect and leave with the best experience..

If you’re walking good food & wine at a good price with great service. This is the place. It’s now on my must visit list for Amsterdam. Would 100% recommend for people

We visited this place twice during our time in Amsterdam. The wines and atmosphere are lovely, and it's frequented by both tourists and locals. The only downside is that you might have to wait a bit to get a table outside, and their kitchen closes after a certain time. It's one of the best places to take a break and have a glass of wine by the canal.

Staff totally ruin the experience - Atmosphere and drinks otherwise are good. None of these people seem to want to be here, they look genuinely angry at you like you are a burden to them, take forever to serve you, ignore you when you eventually have to try flag them down. What a shame because they have a recipe for success otherwise

wines are great but staff is passive aggressive which i did understand on the first and 2nd time and tried to help myself for service since it was crowded, on the third round we kindly ask for the 3rd and they spilled all over while serving and was way too passive aggressive, said stuff like if you want faster service you can go to the bar etc.. ppl don’t come there to treat badly and keep up with your attitude even tho they are nice.

We were lucky enough to land a spot when we arrived, we sat outside and waited for the sunset while we had orange wine and nuts. The cafe was cozy enough, the wine was good, and the staff were kind. We wish they had sweets on the menu since we were having wine after dinner & wanted to pair it with something sweet. But their menu was pretty extensive with savoury snacks, so that’s good too.

Cute and small place with a good wine offer. The food selection is limited which is expected for a wine bar. The place is quite small and feels crowded and loud. Otherwise, the atmosphere is lovely.

Such a nice place! We drank lots of different wines and they all tasted soo good! The sun also came out and there were lots of young people so the atmosphere was really cool and local and authentic which we loved. Will definitely come back

Outrageously high price for a glass of red wine served ice cold in a white wine glass, and very little at that. Nine euros!!!! I'm never going there again.

Lovely, subdued ambiance with candlelight, beautiful setting, excellent wine selection, a menu of sharing plates (very good!), and friendly service. Small space, few tables, you have to arrive at the right time! ;)

A really cool bar to relax and enjoy. We went there three times during our visit and enjoyed champagne and appetizers. We'd go back again and again. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was unique.

It's now a wine bar. No more beers, regular soft drinks, or coffee or tea, but good wines and homemade soft drinks. Higher price range, cozy place.

We were only here for drinks; we didn't eat anything. The service was fast and friendly, nothing to complain about! The drinks were also well-prepared and delicious, but quite pricey. But that's the case everywhere in Amsterdam 🤭

NOTE: This experience took place last August. We didn't eat; we just went for a glass of wine after dinner elsewhere... And the truth is, the setting, the lively atmosphere, the friendly service from the waitress, and the quality of the wines (international wines—you probably know that the Netherlands isn't exactly a wine-producing country, but per capita wine consumption is much higher than in Spain) made it a fantastic evening. So much so... that we went back the next night! Don't miss it!

On Monday, September 15th, we were in Amsterdam and decided to stop by this place while walking at night because we really liked the atmosphere. The wine and the setting were truly wonderful, and we enjoyed sitting there for about an hour and a half. However, when we asked for the bill, we encountered an unexpected and unpleasant situation. Since I had cash euros with me, I kindly asked Ms. Elin if I could pay in cash, but she said it was not possible. We respected this and then politely requested to split the bill. Unfortunately, her reaction was shocking—she seemed upset, and first threw the card machine down in front of me quite harshly, and then did the same to my friend. We were honestly very disappointed and surprised. Such behavior does not reflect the quality of such a beautiful place. We wanted to share this with you.

Amazing wine bar serving only natural wine. The food is delicious and imaginative. The small plates are actually quite large and two or three were enough for us between two people. The staff were delightful, attentive and had great recommendations. Beautiful spot on the canal.

Very central located wine bar, the snacks were not too bad , it’s only organic wine and it’s slightly pricey, I orient recommend for people who really enjoy wine, we ordered a bottle of white Bourgogne but it tasted like apple cider, not worthy for the price we paid for.

One of my fav natural wine bars and their cheeses are insane! That’s the place where I take people when showing them the city. When it’s good weather they also have an outside sitting area next to a canal. So very local;) Definitely try their orange Pipino wine🧡 However, the service to be honest is pretty bed, don’t expect great treatment or waiters to be fast…

I often come to this place, they have very good wines by the glass or the bottle, there is some savoury food. The atmosphere is special, good music, good people. When I need to choose a bottle of wine I always had good recommendations, very effective and nice service The only thing is often full.

Went with some friends at 15:00 since that’s when it opens and they made us wait outside in the cold without telling us they were not gonna open until 15:30. When they finally came outside they were really rude (also saying she thought we were waiting for an uber), even though she saw us wave and wait at the door. Very disappointed, we obviously left

I was really excited to try this restaurant on my last day in Amsterdam after missing it earlier due to New Year’s closures. Their website said they opened at 3 PM, so we arrived right on time, along with a few others who were already waiting. At 3:10, a staff member opened the door, but instead of greeting us, she rudely said they weren’t open yet, shut the door, and aggressively closed the curtains. We waited longer, but no one updated us. After some time had passed, we managed to get her attention again. She began speaking to us through the door, but we couldn’t hear her. When we asked her to open the door, she reluctantly did so and told us that they would open in another 30 minutes. When I politely asked why this wasn’t communicated earlier, she dismissively said, “Well, I thought you were all waiting for an Uber.” It was clear we were there for the restaurant, and a simple, polite update would have gone a long way. Instead, the rude attitude left us shocked, and we decided to leave along with the other party who had been waiting. Based on that alone, I wouldn’t return or recommend this place and I really wish that person more peace in 2025 :) there seems to be a couple reviews about the attitudes there. You can do it, we believe in you ♥️ P.S To the ladies that waiting with us, you guys were awesome!

Vibrant Wine bar in the heart of Amsterdam!

Came here with friends as it was a popular spot recently. None of the waiters greeted us or even acknowledged that we were there. It took more than 30 minutes to serve us a small bread platter and people were receiving their orders chaotically, regardless of when they ordered. The selection of wines is rather limited with no rose wines on the wine card.

Visited with friends on a Sunday evening and were absolutely disappointed by this “popular” place. The service is worse than in any other even average cafes. No one says hi or somewhat welcomes, you have to beg for attention all the time, otherwise you’ll never be served. The staff members are simply rude, one of them took one of our chairs and stood on it with their shoes on to get a bottle, without asking or saying sorry. We were waiting for a little snack of bread and ham for 40 MIN! P.s. And most importantly, the bathroom is all wet, dirty and stinks. Impossible to use it.

Came here at the recommendation of a local—apparently they are known for their “natural wine”. It was late when we arrived so they only had seats available at the bar—the place is tiny and dim lit! It took a while before the server (or bartender) came to take our drink order. Tried both of their orange wine options, Pépin and Andrias Gvino, both I thought were just okay, nothing really special. However, drink prices seemed reasonably.

Love coming here! Always a fun place to have nice wine, people watch and socialize. The people behind the bar are nice and hot. Feels like a warm bath🛁
