We were only here for drinks; we didn't eat anything. The service was fast and friendly, nothing to complain about! The drinks were also well-prepared and delicious, but quite pricey. But that's the case everywhere in Amsterdam 🤭

Great selection of wines, the orange wine was delicious! We really enjoyed our visit.

NOTE: This experience took place last August. We didn't eat; we just went for a glass of wine after dinner elsewhere... And the truth is, the setting, the lively atmosphere, the friendly service from the waitress, and the quality of the wines (international wines—you probably know that the Netherlands isn't exactly a wine-producing country, but per capita wine consumption is much higher than in Spain) made it a fantastic evening. So much so... that we went back the next night! Don't miss it!

Hello, On Monday, September 15th, my friend and I visited your place in Amsterdam because we really liked the atmosphere. The wine and the setting were wonderful, and we enjoyed sitting there for about an hour and a half. However, when we asked for the bill, we had a very unpleasant experience with your staff member Elin. We kindly requested to split the bill, and her reaction was shocking—she seemed upset and literally threw the card machine down in front of us, first at my friend and then at me. It felt very disrespectful and unprofessional. This behavior left us both extremely disappointed. Such treatment does not reflect the quality of such a beautiful place, and we feel it is important to report this incident.

On Monday, September 15th, we were in Amsterdam and decided to stop by this place while walking at night because we really liked the atmosphere. Cafe Twee Prinsen is a super nice place, perfect for sitting outside and enjoying the view. It’s a beautiful little corner by the canal. I had a margarita and it was delicious – I loved it! I’ll definitely come back!

Amazing wine bar serving only natural wine. The food is delicious and imaginative. The small plates are actually quite large and two or three were enough for us between two people. The staff were delightful, attentive and had great recommendations. Beautiful spot on the canal.

Very central located wine bar, the snacks were not too bad , it’s only organic wine and it’s slightly pricey, I orient recommend for people who really enjoy wine, we ordered a bottle of white Bourgogne but it tasted like apple cider, not worthy for the price we paid for.

New favourite place in Amsterdam. Sit on the terrace and watch the world go by. Wines are great, all natural I think and simple food dishes.

One of my fav natural wine bars and their cheeses are insane! That’s the place where I take people when showing them the city. When it’s good weather they also have an outside sitting area next to a canal. So very local;) Definitely try their orange Pipino wine🧡 However, the service to be honest is pretty bed, don’t expect great treatment or waiters to be fast…

I often come to this place, they have very good wines by the glass or the bottle, there is some savoury food. The atmosphere is special, good music, good people. When I need to choose a bottle of wine I always had good recommendations, very effective and nice service The only thing is often full.

I was really excited to try this restaurant on my last day in Amsterdam after missing it earlier due to New Year’s closures. Their website said they opened at 3 PM, so we arrived right on time, along with a few others who were already waiting. At 3:10, a staff member opened the door, but instead of greeting us, she rudely said they weren’t open yet, shut the door, and aggressively closed the curtains. We waited longer, but no one updated us. After some time had passed, we managed to get her attention again. She began speaking to us through the door, but we couldn’t hear her. When we asked her to open the door, she reluctantly did so and told us that they would open in another 30 minutes. When I politely asked why this wasn’t communicated earlier, she dismissively said, “Well, I thought you were all waiting for an Uber.” It was clear we were there for the restaurant, and a simple, polite update would have gone a long way. Instead, the rude attitude left us shocked, and we decided to leave along with the other party who had been waiting. Based on that alone, I wouldn’t return or recommend this place and I really wish that person more peace in 2025 :) there seems to be a couple reviews about the attitudes there. You can do it, we believe in you ♥️ P.S To the ladies that waiting with us, you guys were awesome!

Went with some friends at 15:00 since that’s when it opens and they made us wait outside in the cold without telling us they were not gonna open until 15:30. When they finally came outside they were really rude (also saying she thought we were waiting for an uber), even though she saw us wave and wait at the door. Very disappointed, we obviously left

Vibrant Wine bar in the heart of Amsterdam!

Came here with friends as it was a popular spot recently. None of the waiters greeted us or even acknowledged that we were there. It took more than 30 minutes to serve us a small bread platter and people were receiving their orders chaotically, regardless of when they ordered. The selection of wines is rather limited with no rose wines on the wine card.

Visited with friends on a Sunday evening and were absolutely disappointed by this “popular” place. The service is worse than in any other even average cafes. No one says hi or somewhat welcomes, you have to beg for attention all the time, otherwise you’ll never be served. The staff members are simply rude, one of them took one of our chairs and stood on it with their shoes on to get a bottle, without asking or saying sorry. We were waiting for a little snack of bread and ham for 40 MIN! P.s. And most importantly, the bathroom is all wet, dirty and stinks. Impossible to use it.

Came here at the recommendation of a local—apparently they are known for their “natural wine”. It was late when we arrived so they only had seats available at the bar—the place is tiny and dim lit! It took a while before the server (or bartender) came to take our drink order. Tried both of their orange wine options, Pépin and Andrias Gvino, both I thought were just okay, nothing really special. However, drink prices seemed reasonably.

Love coming here! Always a fun place to have nice wine, people watch and socialize. The people behind the bar are nice and hot. Feels like a warm bath🛁

Searched a long time for a wine bar with a good vibe. Stumbled upon this one. Did not disappoint.

Charming wine bar on the edge of the ravages of tourists. I spent the afternoon here resting my legs and reading a book by the window. Their wines are interesting, and the few I had all tasted great. It seemed to draw a crowd of both locals and tourists, but it is far enough from the city center that it was a clean and relatively quiet neighborhood. Great place to relax and refresh oneself, though the food portions are small snacks (not an inherently bad thing at all, just setting expectations). If you're a fan of orange wine, they have a number available and I enjoyed them tremendously. In the finest European style, it has a postage stamp sized toilet behind a door that your really have to wrestle open.

The place where I liked the bites more than the wine. The terrace gets very crowded during the warm day, but it’s pretty cozy inside also. Our experience would be much better if the service was actually explaining a few words about the wines we are drinking. Also, the glasses were not changed after switching the wine which I found strange. Overall a nice place for natural wine lovers!

Awful service. The girl who was supposed to serve us was extremely rude and demeaning. She refused to serve us and asked our group of friends to leave the bar (we were sitting outside by the canal) because of a complete misunderstanding and miscommunication that could have easily been handled in a more sophisticated manner. I hope you do better in the future but I won’t be recommending your place to anyone.

Had delicious small plates and a really nice bottle of orange wine (served without an ice bucket however), the outdoor seating area gets very crowded on summer afternoons but that’s part of the charm!

Lovely place to spend an afternoon or evening and enjoy some wonderful natural wines and snacks. Sometimes takes a while to get the attention of a server, it gets busy and there's usually only two people working. Be patient, it's worth the wait!

Amazing location with really chill and glorious atmosphere. We got here around 4pm mid summer to soak up the vibes. Hook into a pet nat and some of the incredibly good burrata. Stick around for a while because it’s super relaxing.

I have been in this place couple of times and on sunny days there are really overcrowded that much you don’t really feel comfortable. But still I like the bar a lot 😍 and enjoy the variety of nice selection of wines.

Awful experience asked nicely for a table and was asked to wait outside for ten minutes for our table and was shown which one we could have.it was pouring with rain and we went in to check after 10 minutes and the lady had even our table to someone else who had also just walked in. Lady who served us clocked and just laughed at me and my party instead of apologising. Will not be visiting again.

Great wine bar, outstanding I would say, in a beautiful corner. A small shop offering wine from a great man (blonde short hair, with some tattoos), because I have to admit his service made our experience even better, so we spent a great afternoon drinking different wines.

A nice place for wine and bites; but very snug and loud when full. They should put the menu on their website as well. Good location. but the service was extremely inefficient and slow. We had to wait over 20 minutes for the bill, and even then I had to be the one to go and pay it at the bar, since the server never came back like he had said he would.

Spent an evening here with my daughter on our visit to Amsterdam. Very busy, when arrived no seating inside so we had a drink outside and the girl that served us ensured we got a table as soon was vacated. Excellent small plates, washed down with some very good wine. My daughter was so impressed she went back a few days later with a friend and stayed way past midnight.

Hello? Is anyone home? The menu of delicious small bites was unfortunately overshadowed by horrendous service. The young server was absolutely not invested in the customers. In fact, in the hour we were there, 3 separate parties left because she never greeted them or acknowledged their presence. Weird and unfortunate. 🤷‍♂️

This was a suggestion that became a hangout that became an experience. Come in as a stranger and leave with new friends. TRULY EXCELLENT. The owner (Theo??) was incredibly gracious and kind and chatted with me at the bar about food / menu choices. Great wine, solid bites and superb crowd. Highly recommended.
