Great prices, great service, and a very laid back ambiance. Hotel restaurant prices are normally insane, but this place is actually very reasonable. Much easier to just grab a bite here before you head out. We tried several other places, but kept coming back here. Menu is small but has pretty much everything covered, even vegan options.

I was there on November 4th, 2025, around 6 PM. The good news first: I went there twice. The first and last time. Second good news: I didn't order the overpriced breakfast; trust your gut. The food: overpriced mediocrity, fries baskets that were creatively 25% empty. Real packaging artists at work. Service: I'd like to apologize to the person who was there. How dare I even enter the restaurant? Sorry, I was hungry and lazy after a 10-hour workday. I can't say whether she'd also been working 10 hours. But every fiber of her being and every face showed it. She probably took her lack of warmth as an example, or perhaps the restaurant was named after her. The feeling of "you are welcome and I'm a professional" never materialized. She silently took my empty plate from the table, but at least she asked when I paid. I remained silent. Oh, you have a €5 voucher. Yes. I didn't ask why I wasn't getting the 10% discount as a hotel guest. I hate wasting time. Of course, no tip; she can't buy anything with the 10% discount she didn't receive. I wouldn't call her an employee. She just gets paid and happened to be in the area. New again.

We had a wonderful birthday lunch here! The food was delicious, the cocktails were amazing, and the cozy terrace made it even better. Huge thanks to Adam for his excellent service—he made the celebration extra special. Highly recommend!

We dined here during SAIL on Friday, August 22, 2025, with a group of 10 people, and it was a true DREAM. From the very beginning, everything went completely wrong due to a staffing problem in the kitchen. We all ordered by 7:00 PM, but by 8:15 PM, there was still no food. After asking, only two pizzas arrived, even though there were 10 of us. Ten minutes later, three baskets of fries for eight people followed, with no other dishes. Only after waiting almost an hour and 45 minutes did we receive the rest of our orders, but then the fries were missing (we had already had to share half of them) and we never received the vegetables we ordered. We were offered a round of drinks as an apology, but this absolutely did not make up for the experience. At an event like SAIL, where management has long known it will be busy, it is a huge ORGANIZATIONAL FAILURE not to have the staffing right. The service was extremely poor, the food arrived chaotic and incomplete, and the experience for my guests and me was downright embarrassing. This was the first and last time we dined at DECK. Very disappointing – absolutely not recommended!

We stopped by Deck Amsterdam for a few hours whilst exploring the area. It’s a total hidden gem, with the most fabulous outdoor seating area overlooking a serene canal. The drinks offering were great, with a great selection of beers, wines, cocktails and more. We visited during SAIL Amsterdam and were able to enjoy some fantastic specials. Overall, the bar was outstanding and I would highly recommend a visit if you’re in the area!

We received extra service because they reheated the apple pie. Super nice people!

Bit overpriced food and drinks but when you stay at this hotel it is pretty handy. Make sure you use the 10% off as a guest as well as the eco vouchers you get each time you don't have your room cleaned. (€5 per room)

Apparently they don't know how to prepare gin tonic, any food is homemade, without further ado, it is preferable to go to another place in the city where the food and atmosphere are much better.

Unfortunately, a very disappointing experience. Half of the menu wasn’t available, they forgot my order completely, and my friend had to wait over an hour for their eggs Benedict. Not coming back. Good looking restaurant btw

bbq skewer is chewier than a leather horse saddle, but its a perfect location to have a drink when its sunny

What a lovely place to sit, atmospheric and promising upon arrival. Unfortunately, our visit was quite disappointing. We had to wait 45 minutes for our food, even though only two other tables were occupied at the time. We both ordered a shakshuka and shared a portion of truffle fries. We saw the fries sitting on the bar for at least five minutes before they were served. Unfortunately, we received regular fries. After asking, they "transformed" them into truffle fries by transferring them to a separate container and adding some cheese. Unfortunately, they were already cold, overcooked, and greasy inside—really unappetizing. The shakshuka consisted of some fried bell peppers and tomatoes, topped with an egg, a few dollops of yogurt, and a limp slice of casino bread. This too was a complete disappointment; we didn't even eat it. What made it even more disappointing was that no one came by during our visit to ask if everything was to our liking. We ended up going to the bar ourselves to pay. And then the bill turned out to be €60 for two shakshuka orders, one portion of fries, and one drink each… That felt completely out of proportion. In short: a nice place to sit, but we wouldn't go back. Too bad.

We sat outside on the terrace. We do miss the very tasty sandwiches, which were on the menu a year ago. But enough other choice. Friendly staff.

We loved it! So much so that we came back for more. The dishes were delicious and plentiful. The atmosphere was spectacular, and the staff was super friendly!

The fish and chips were okay (according to another guest). The parmesan-loaded French fries were a bit undercooked, but I still enjoyed them. However, the Çilbir was de.li.cious! I asked for some pita bread to scoop it up from the plate. The weather was lovely, so we sat outside, enjoying the view of the canal with passing boats and water birds bobbing in the wake. I truly enjoyed it on the deck.

The place is beautiful. Especially if you are here during a nice sunny day, there is a spectacular terrace nicely decorated and next to the garden. Service is nice, the waitress are super sweet and nice Food is nice. We had egg Benedicts, the eggs were not perfectly poached (too cooked) and the bread is very heavy. Asparages were nice. It has potential. Since you get three eggs in one dish it gets very hard to finish your plate. UPDATE: you can sit and have brunch only if you do the all you can drink option. We were 3 adults with 2 young kids (4 and 3) and asked if we could do just a la carte without the bottomless option. In the venue there was nobody but still, they preferred to refuse us rather than let us just eat. Too bad. It looks that they are focusing only on people coming from the hotel or on holiday. If you are a local and you just want to enjoy a brunch without getting drunk then this place is not for you. Funny enough is that I came here few times for brunch and I always found it empty. I am afraid with such restrictions it will be difficult to increase the clientele.

While the terrace is absolutely beautiful especially in the good weather - the service is rather poor. The waiting times are long, both for ordering and for actually getting the food. Today we were waiting for half an hour for the fries (the frozen ones that just require to be put in the airfryer). Never received one of the drinks. Also we just figured out there was a mistake on the bill yesterday and we were charged for a cocktail we never had. Would love to hear about the options on how I can be refunded for it. Anyways, I hope that this feedback will be taken into account and hopefully we will see some changes, because as I said the place itself is very nice and surely has lots of potential.

Top location, the rest was really bad. We had to ask for the drinks we ordered, the nachos were fries with a nasty sauce and the final hamburger was cold. What a pain in the ass. Conclusion: don't come here

Our experience was, to say the least, very disappointing. To be fair, the burger I ordered was very tasty, which is why I still gave it 2 stars. We ordered three items from the menu and none of them were available (Coxinha, mixed meat platter and Philly cheesesteak). In the end we decided to order beer to drink, nachos con carne as an appetizer and a burger as a main dish. Even though the restaurant was relatively empty, we had to wait for our drinks for about 30 minutes, and we only received them after asking the waiter again. When the dishes arrived, they brought the appetizer along with the main dish. To our surprise, the nachos con carne did not contain nachos, they were made with fries (???). When we asked where the nachos were, the waiter said that if we wanted, he could put some chips on the plate, so we asked to cancel it. The place is very nice, the atmosphere is good, but the service was terrible, I would not go back and I do not recommend the restaurant

This location is really great! A beautiful, quiet hidden pearl in the middle of Amsterdam! The food was great, the drinks delicious and the staff super attentive! Definitely worth repeating.

We had the meat platter for 2 people and everything about it was great. The taste of all the types of food was really good and it was a lot(!) of food. Even with 2 fully grown men we maybe could've finished it, if we hadn't ordered the nacho starter to share beforehand. So don't take a starter if you order this for 2 people.

The service and the place are great! The food is definitely not good. You can cook the same at home, the menu looks super appealing but the reality is no flavor. It’s not made with love plus it’s expensive

Dining at a hotel restaurant I generally don’t expect fine dining, especially when ordering a pizza… but the pepperoni pizza I got served was the most blend pizza I have ever tasted 🤣 Didn’t know that you can mess up such a simple dish. The best part was the crust which was blend too but was not greasy at least. Save yourself the disappointment and just order drinks. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere.

Amsterdam north is slowly but surely expanding. This place has a great layout for larger groups. Food is a bit higher than Amsterdam average so do not expect too much.

Beautiful location, especially the high windows with a gigantic surface, I wondered how they were made at the glass factory.

It is the restaurant of the hotel where I stayed. We made a reservation through TheFork, which made it very well priced. The place is quite cool, very well decorated. The service was spectacular, so much so that it gives the feeling that you are in a very luxurious place. The open kitchen gives it a distinguished touch. No odor escapes. We ordered the Noord burger and were very satisfied, for size and quality.

The food was good and the staff was attentive. Beautiful place! It's a bit difficult to find, but just look for the arrows. And lots of parking nearby.

The restaurant looked very nice and modern. Only the food was quite disappointing. The starters took a long time and were listed incorrectly. We were able to get the ordered starter, but that would again take "a long time". The main course, on the other hand, arrived before the starters were finished. The starter plates were also not cleared. We had to ask for extra drinks and dessert ourselves. Overall the food was fine, but not tasty/special enough to go back. Quite pricey for fairly easy dishes.

Heerlijke plek aan het water. Wat een hidden gem. Prima gegeten. Wijn beetje aan de prijs en er zijn veel lekkerdere varianten te vinden. Chardonnay en de rose niet top. Bediening attent.

Good food, great view. Only thing is they didn’t give us utensils just chopsticks. And they were sold out of pizza.

Amazing environment, atmosphere and a very nice garden… the homemade empanadas with chimichurri are delicious and great cocktails.

Spacious and modern place with nice comfortable lounge seats. The food was very tasty and of good quality. Staff was friendly and helpful. Definitely will be coming back soon!
