We celebrated a super fun birthday party on the terrace on Sunday. Good atmosphere, pleasant service, nice parasols, and tasty snacks and drinks. The only downside is the accessibility of the toilet if you have mobility issues, like me.

We are shocked by the service. Half-empty establishment. We were with children and were looking for a table in the shade. At first we were refused the first table we asked for. Without explanation, although it was empty and without a reservation, it just became available. Then they refused another table, saying that it was impossible to order food at a table outside, they do not serve there. A few minutes later we saw people eating there. The last straw was the following: at 16:20, we ordered pizza, we were told that it was possible from 17:00. In 2 minutes, two pizzas were brought to the next table in front of us.

Delicious pizzas. Tasty, thin crust and base, and flavorful toppings. The tiramisu and starters were delicious too! Highly recommended for dining; friendly and efficient service as well. A very relaxed place to enjoy a good meal!

Though so young in years already so advanced in great attitude, communication, even explaining ever In English so personally. We really are very impressed, what a lovely young man. A really nice place with attentive staff in a beautiful location, and a lovely terrace.

Cozy spot right in the middle of Westerpark and delicious food! We were with a very large group of 23 people. Communication regarding the options was clear and easy beforehand. We sat comfortably upstairs and were first served various small dishes on a board with focaccia bread as starters, followed by salad and 4 types of pizza that we had chosen in advance to share. Everyone really enjoyed it, and we had drinks on the terrace until late. Payment was also handled very smoothly; we were able to transfer the money later after receiving the bill by email. The owners at Coco are very relaxed in every way! We will definitely be back!

The wait was interminable! The waitress was on her phone. The bruschetta was bland and tasteless... The tiramisu came straight from a pre-packaged container. Absolutely no point! I ordered a Sprite and they brought me a sugar-free one with artificial sweeteners. I won't be back because it's not good and it's overpriced!!

The restaurant is well located (right across from the Lumière brothers' factory) with a lovely terrace. The dishes we ordered were delicious. They were really very good and affordable.

The pizzas there are truly amazing... lovely with a nice glass of wine while the sun sets and twilight begins, on the terrace at Bar Coco!

The staff were unfriendly and avoided eye contact when we tried to get their attention. We were also charged an extra fee on the bill, and no printed receipt was provided, which made it difficult to notice. Additionally, the tomato sauce on all of the pizzas was unexpectedly spicy ( our table ordered 4 pizzas and even the margarita was very spicy). Our order was also incorrect, and we had to ask three times before it was finally corrected. Overall, the experience was disappointing and not worth the price.

Horrible service. They took a lot of time to take the order, they had no idea of what was available, and brought the wrong thing. Not coming back.

The service at this restaurant is simply worthless. We were ignored upon entering, and then we didn't receive our drinks until an hour later, and even then not the correct order. Everyone around us already had drinks while we were the first to arrive (and there were only 3 of us), but if you asked for them, you were met with a disapproving look. The pizzas we ordered were also served very late and without the correct ingredients. We will never return here.

Lovely spot for lunch/dinner! We ordered the margherita pizza and the focaccia with artichoke cream and olive oil. Both were sooo good. I’ll be back to try their sandwiches. Very friendly service. It gets quite busy inside as it’s not that big, but there’s also seating outside (with heaters). Would definitely recommend.

A really small place, very loud music, the tables are really close to the toilet and u can smell it... WC was discusting, dirrty, men and women gotta pee together lol. About the food. Well, just a really average pizza. I had a feeling it was not baked properly. Tomato sauce was just a random passata. Didn't feel well after earing it. Never again. Waste of money. From nice aspects, really big and nice terrace. I would recommend it if u wanna get wasted with ur friends, but dont go there with ur fam, kids or on a date. Completely misundarsting.

The food was great, the service was friendly, but... I left immediately after eating because we weren't ALLOWED to have a cappuccino! I really wanted a cappuccino after dinner, but that wasn't allowed. They did offer black coffee or espresso, but no milk or oat milk. "Because we want to do it just like in Italy, and there they don't put milk in the coffee after 4 p.m., only espresso." I explained that I don't like black coffee, so I'd rather just have a cold shot of oat milk. No, we won't. So: we're in Amsterdam and we have to adhere to Italian customs. And: Bar Coco decides what I can and can't drink!? This is bizarre. If it were because the machine was broken or had just been cleaned (it was early, it was 7 p.m.), but no, it was because Bar Coco decides I can't drink coffee with (oat) milk after 4 p.m. because they don't do that in Italy. I left immediately and had a delicious cappuccino elsewhere. How ridiculous. Despite the delicious food and otherwise friendly service, we won't be back. Soon we'll only be able to order in Italian there... 🫣 Apparently, things can always get crazier in Amsterdam's hospitality industry.

We were sitting outside after a visit to Fabrique Lumiere. My daughter and I were hungry, and the menu had unfamiliar dishes, but they sounded delicious. So we ordered a sandwich made with pizza crust dough—FRESH! Well...we'd never had such delicious bread. We even took a picture of the sandwich this time. Divine. Not too big and not too heavy, just right. Sooooo delicious!

One of our favourite local pizza places. Have been here a few times for drinks and pizzas in the afternoon sun. Such a great spot, with delicious pizza and aperols. Especially recommend the four cheese pizza.

Unfortunately, Bar Coco "Vino e Pizza" does not have a terrace service. Ordering via the QR code is a real bad thing in my opinion. No one is willing to take your order in a friendly manner and hardly any contact with the staff at all

If you looking for a chilled place to have an awesome pizza and a glass of something look no further than Bar Coco Van. In the heart if Westerpark it is what it says in the box. I love it. The food and people. Get there in the afternoon to try the 'sandwiches' made from bread/pizza dough in the pizza oven. Dog friendly and right next to the park and opposite Fabrique des Lumières. We went for a show and a great lunch and cocktails afterwards. Highly recommended

Very beautiful and atmospheric place, excellent location. I really liked the guys from the service, sociable and friendly, and the food is just super, thanks to the chefs for such a wonderful and varied menu. After the first visit, this place became my favorite, you are the best COCO BAR!

I took the mixed appetizers. Mediocre food, minimum quantities with a lot of rucola and just a few amount of the main ingredient.

Relaxed on a cozy terrace. We had a Pizza Diavola and a prosciutto Tartufo. Both were very tasty and the base was super light and crispy. We shared the tiramisu, which I regretted because it tasted like so much more. Received a nice house liqueur with coffee. We live around the corner so will definitely come back….

the waiters did not want to serve us because we had to scan the QR code but it did not work and avoided contact even though we spoke English to them. They got the drinks wrong. They only brought one and the waiter came back 5 minutes later to ask me what my drink was. the service was extremely slow and the pizzas were good but not exceptional. when paying, the waiter told us that it was only by card and did not show me the ticket. In the end he had to modify it because he had added a drink that we had not ordered. I do not recommend

Food is great but the service was crap. It really wasn't full, but your plate was taken away immediately after eating. My friend just took her last bite. My plate was already gone by now. People were told that they were closed, on an open terrace, subsequent customers could order again. It was all very strange.

The pizzas are very good. The atmosphere is very nice, the service is very good, the employees are friendly, we are very pleased, we recommend it. You should definitely go.

This bar has a photobooth nearby. It doesn’t work!! You pay, take photos and don’t get them:(( it was so upsetting. So avoid that photobooth

Heerlijke tent, midden in het Westerpark gelegen. We kwamen er voor een koffie maar eindigden met een fles wijn en veel te veel eten. Echt alles op deze kaart is lekker icm de goede service, maakt dat je de hele dag wil blijven hangen.

The food was nice, but honestly I'd give this less than 1 star if I could. There were 2 big shards of glass in the bottom of my coffee; I went to the bar staff and told them about it to which they told me this happened the day before too. Personally I would stay away from any bar / restaurant that consistently has pieces of broken glass in a drink.

The pizza Diavola is a delicious hot pizza that you won't get anywhere else! Ordered the tiramisu for dessert. This one is the way you want it. Delicious! Recommended!

The price is okay for a holiday city, the taste is good. The pizzas look good and are freshly prepared. In my opinion just a little too small for the big appetite. Atmosphere was great, the waitresses came several times to ask if everything was okay. All in all, worth repeating.

Enjoyed delicious food in a very nice place! The pizzas were wonderfully crispy and airy, and upon request my pizza was adjusted to my wishes. The tiramisu was also really delicious! In short, Bar Coco is highly recommended! We would love to come back again!

Location is beautiful at the Westergasfabriek. It is therefore to be expected that prices will be somewhat higher. We ordered 2 pizzas, which had to be done via a QR code and we were not assisted otherwise. Pizzas were ready within 20 minutes and served in an indifferent manner. Paid €17 per pizza, but the price/quality ratio was terrible. Another review talks about “authentic Romance flavors,” but there was hard potato on my Quattro Formaggi and the crust was burnt. In the hope of a good ending, we ordered a “torta di ricotta”, but in vain it could just as well have come from HEMA and the “ricotta” was poorly whipped cream. Do not recommend this tent. Overall 2/5.
