Fantastic food. Staff is friendly, the atmosphere is good and the price-quality ratio is great. And the icing on the cake; the non-alcoholic cava is the tastiest I have ever tasted!

Nice atmosphere, terrible food. We had a ceasar salad and a pizzetta. The chicken in the salad was almost raw and included the chicken fat. The pizzetta was way too salted and the base tasted like cardboard. Not recommended for food.

Jules offers as poor dining experience. The portions are small, and the prices are high for what you get. After waiting like 50 minutes, our order never arrived. When we finally decided to leave, the waiter’s response was a dismissive 'I understand,' devoid of any genuine concern or apology. It seems Jules needs a masterclass in customer service and satisfaction. Perhaps they should consider trying harder next time to actually address the issues of dissatisfied customers.

The food was very good, but the service was very poor... the food took a very long time and you had to wait a while for the drinks. We also had to continuously speak to staff before we were seen and could order something.

Nice place for cocktails and light food.

While the taste of the pizza was great, it is the smallest I've ever seen. The service was fantastic though, very attentive and friendly waiters work there, but the food size was beyond disappointing :(

We live in the area and were thrilled to see Jules and Juliette open in the plaza, but unfortunately every time we visit it’s been sullied a bit by the service. I am currently at minute 45 without someone coming to our table, with the drinks and plates being empty for the last 30. My wife left 15 minutes ago and they seemingly haven’t noticed. Management, if you see this before anyone else: I am sitting at the table with all the empty glassware in front of the large window. I’d like to get a box, pay, and leave, please. EDIT: final time 48 minutes

Relax on the terrace with delicious food

Delicious lunch in a quiet sunny spot. We had salmon sandwich and quiche with salat. The fresh juice is rich and tasty.

Nice casual place! Terrace in the sun during the day. Food is good and affordable. Definitely nice for a casual dinner or drink at the bar.

Delicious food! 4 dishes shared between 2 of us. More than enough. Salad with beets, delicious! Unfortunately, very little of the citrus part could be tasted. That was a pity. Nice atmosphere, good service!

It was a pleasant experience. We did find it took a long time for the order to arrive. An error had been made with the order, which we felt should have been compensated with a cup of coffee or something else. We will definitely be back so all in all we enjoyed it.

We participated in a wine tasting with friends. Small dishes were always served. In between we were told all kinds of things about the wines. That was very fun and educational. All in all we had a very nice evening. We found the wines tasty but not very special. As far as we are concerned, there is still some progress to be made. I would also recommend ending with coffee or tea. For the rest it was a great evening.

Had dinner here on Saturday, I'd say the food is great! Typical shared dining concept which is very popular in Amsterdam but the flavors were all very good! Unfortunately, the staff was still very inexperienced and we ran into some errors. It took them a very long time to serve us the menu and then for us to receive our first drinks. Someone at our table received a beer which was not cold anymore and also they served us the drinks that were ordered by the couple who sat next to us but left because the staff forgot to serve them the drinks. A bit awkward and made the overal experience a bit chaotic. The last point was that a person took place on the (full) terrace and started smoking a sigarette while young children were also sitting next to him and the staff did not speak up. It definitely should not be allowed.

We loved our dinner with friends this evening. The food was amazing. Definitely would go back especially for the citrus salad and cauliflower. Their pizzas were super easy to share and yummy. Such a great location and the terrace was perfect. Service was great and we loved the wine list. The cocktails were served quickly and were delicious. Can’t wait to go back again!

Had a lovely drink and dinner outside on the terrace. The 2 and 3 of us shared dishes. A Caesar salad, a pizza and a fish. Everything was delicious! Nice staff and a cozy atmosphere.

Nice cozy winebar with an amazing knowledge of wines...if you're Lucky enough to be served by Mr. Tim. A well deserved 5 star for the service.

Nice place, kind and smiling staff, heated terrace. If you want to snack while having a drink, that's fine. But be careful, the pizzas are good, but very small (10 to 15 € anyway...). Don't count on them for a meal.

Great place! Had my birthday drink with Jules and Juliette, where they thought about the possibilities in a super flexible way in advance. On the evening itself, one of the girls worked super hard to make my evening unforgettable. I can definitely recommend it for a cozy and intimate drink with friends and family!

I had diner several times, with friends ans also with a business partner from abroad. The service is very friendly and fast, and the food is delicious!! Try the pizzetta's, they are really great!!

What a lovely tent in Oud-Zuid. We recommend Juliette's delicious breakfast in the morning on the sunny terrace. Then continue for a delicious rosé and tasty pizza with the friendly staff of Bar Jules (with the always cheerful bartender). All in all a great place!

We just left the restaurant, we won't come back. The food was OK, but MUCH too EXPENSIVE for the quantity served (we understand the rise in prices with inflation but don't overdo it!) In addition, the server had execrable behavior (no hello, no thank you, no goodbye, etc.). The only positive point, the place remains nice. In short, we do not recommend it.

Service extremely poor, even by Amsterdam standards.

The food is tasty, but the experience was completely ruined by the waiter's behavior. They took a very long time to bring the menu, and when they described the chef's special pizza, it sounded so unappetizing that we definitely didn't want to order it. We asked for water four times, as they kept forgetting about us. Meanwhile, other tables had bottles of water, but the waiter responded very rudely to us. Later, they brought glasses of water with something strange at the bottom. The glasses and the waiter's hands were wet when they placed them on our table, and as a result, my table was in water. The waiter also spilled a little water on my jeans. It was unpleasant. This is definitely not the kind of place I'd want to come back to, even despite the food. Such service completely ruins the experience and dampens the mood.

Top place, great service, delicious food and a nice interior.

We ordered one starter, charcuterie board and one pizza to share , normally it’s enough for two small girls but the pizza was like a children’s size , overcooked , totally overpriced!!! And the charcuterie board was also very small. We had to order one more snack still small , wine is also expensive! For the value and taste of food , I won’t go again !

Nice new Coffee / Lunch / Dinner in Amsterdam Oud Top business, amazingly delicious coffee, Very good host who knows his trade! Latte Machiato: Coffee/Milk balance is excellent, nice full, rich, strong coffee bean with the nice blanket on top of the creamy milk foam. Jules is highly recommended for a very good cup of fresh coffee, lunch and dinner. You will definitely see us here more often!!!

Great nice location on Valeriusplein. Delicious Pizzeta's and fantastic Caesar Salad. Surprisingly good cuisine with diversity, a wonderfully friendly, hospitable lady who made this evening a great evening. I recommend, try it and enjoy this beautiful addition to Amsterdam South Best regards

Super asset for Amsterdam! It is a cozy place with nice wines and deliciously surprising food. The service is also a relief. We will definitely come back!

We lunchten hier. Mooie bar, goede bediening maar de broodjes waren klein en niet erg voedzaam. Prijs aan de hoge kant. Desalniettemin ongetwijfeld leuk voor een drankje of een cocktail.

We hebben een top avond gehad. Het eten is uitstekend. De bediening is heel erg vriendelijk en letten op alles. We komen zeker terug.

Poor service, waitresses seem completely inexperienced and not dedicated at all. Did not know anything we asked, did not remove dirty dishes etc. Quality of food, partly good ( steak) but small pizza and Bimi completely overpriced and nothing special at all. Bimi was tiny portion and overcooked and pizza ( with tuna) dry. Price value even for Amsterdam Zuid not in balance Atmosphere is good. Could be a good place, but needs a lot of improvement in terms of service and price value.

Onwijs lekker gegeten! Het Shared-dining concept is zo leuk. Probeer vooral de pizza met ananas (i know, hoort niet, maar toch een dikke vette aanrader), het brood en de zeebaars. 😋 Verder heerlijk vertoeft bij Jules met een cocktail op het terras. Plaatje compleet. Volgende op mijn lijstje; Juilliet. Benieuwd of ik daar ook zo enthousiast over ben. Jules is in ieder geval een blijvertje!

Mooie restobar met een gezellig terras en een informele sfeer! Leuk personeel dat hard werkt in de drukte, knap wat ze in korte tijd hebben weten neer te zetten! Zorg dat je er (zeker in de weekenden) op tijd bent, want het terras zit snel vol! Btw de pizza margherita was een hoogtepunt!
