This was my first time at Bar Mash and I absolutely loved it! The food was so good, flavorful, and honestly exceeded my expectations. Such an amazing first experience, I’ll definitely be coming back again soon. I highly recommend the Tom Kha Kai

It used to be fun when Bart and Piet were there. Now it's been taken over by neighborhood CEOs playing Monopoly with the street. A plastic, kitsch patio, zero class, zero soul. Authenticity has long since been checked out. Maeve's window, now this... all the same copy-paste capitalism vibe. The food is still decent (a miracle), although the kitchen hygiene also looks a bit "we hope for the best." Do yourself a favor, save your money and literally sit somewhere else.

A small, cozy restaurant with a spacious terrace near the Albert Cuyp Market. They don't have an extensive menu, but the food was delicious. The portions are ample, and the price-quality ratio is definitely right. Friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Was very happy to come here the first time. Amazing food actually super nice. Cool drinks Good service Value for money Only thing the seats inside not very comfortable at all and very noice the staff making loud jokes to each other , I mean loud so we could not talk.

Worst service that I had in Amsterdam since living here. Fish cakes were greasy and horrible. And both waiter couldn’t care less about the service provided. Simply don’t go. Enjoy Amsterdam elsewhere

Really wonderful service and lovely patio. They have an allergy menu and had a couple gluten free options. I got the red curry and it was delicious. Celiac safe!

Although ordered tofu starter, we were served chicken skewers! When the correct order came through it was really good. Service was quite slow but maybe because it was busy. Nice place to sit outside and relax with friends.

I didn't expect the food to be this flavoursome ! We went for chicken pad Thai and red curry with shrimp, both absolutely delicious. Great atmosphere at the sunny terrace in the middle of De Pijp.

Lovely bar to hangout with friends, especially during the warmer days on the spacious outdoor terrace. Was quite busy but waited 5 minutes and got a seat outside for 4 people. Super close to de pijp and easily reachable by metro or bike. Service is super attentive and friendly. Got drinks quite fast. Food took longer but is super authentic and delicious. Talked with the cook when visiting the toilet. A very tiny kitchen but just one person cooking and making all that magic! Highly recommended especially for a small bite, drinks with friends!

Waiter was rude, passive aggressive and still demanded a tip. Food - starters were good. Mains are average. Nothing special. If you sit inside atmosphere is tense and just a downer.

Visitamos este bistró tailandés en el distrito de museos de Ámsterdam con muchas esperanzas, pero desafortunadamente, fue una noche muy decepcionante. Fui con mi madre y mi hermana, y ninguno de nosotros quedó impresionado con la comida o el servicio. Pedimos tres platos: un Pad Thai revuelto - freír para mi madre, un revuelto de pimienta de ternera - freír, y un Massaman curry de ternera. El plato del salteado de ternera era el único que era algo aceptable, pero los otros dos eran realmente horribles. La carne de res en el curry Massaman era extremadamente masticable y arenosa, completamente no comestible. Señalamos esto al personal inmediatamente, y aunque se ofrecieron a reemplazar el plato, solo pedimos que la carne de res se cambiara por pollo en su lugar. Desafortunadamente, el pollo que salió era insípido y seco, y no mejoró el plato en absoluto. Los fideos Pad Thai revueltos y fritos también fueron una decepción, insípidos, con pollo igualmente blando. Mi madre apenas tocaba su comida. Planteamos nuestras preocupaciones y el personal admitió que Massaman no estaba a la altura, sin embargo, todavía nos cobraron por ello. Solo después de cuestionar el proyecto de ley retiraron el cargo, pero continuaron disputando nuestras preocupaciones sobre el revuelo pad tailandés, alegando que nadie se quejó nunca. Tengo que admitir que tenía mejor Pad Thai preparado en un puesto callejero en Londres. He estado en Tailandia antes para poder decir cómo debería ser la calidad y el sabor. Really lovely evening at Bar Mash. Nice area, great to sit outside. The food was absolutely amazing- incredibly tasty and plentiful. Good, friendly service. Thoroughly recommend this great restaurant.

Cute little thai restaurant / bar that has the kitchen open until 11 (In Amsterdam this great service with late food is impossible to find). Great drink selection and superbe pad thai & currys

The food here was surprisingly good. I thought with the name this place would be more of a bar, but they serve both amazing cocktails and really decent food. We had the spring rolls and 3 different curries, and they were all delicious. The only critique I have is when we ordered our drinks, we were told quite late that one of them lacked ingredients and were told to pick another.

the food and drinks were really really great and the atmosphere was super comfortable! the only thing was that it was a little pricy but still “normal” for amsterdam standards. would definitely come again and recommend!

Very tasty food and very friendly and personal service. Bottles of water were on the table for free and I was not shocked by the bill and that is sometimes different in Amsterdam. I will definitely come back!

Perfect dinner+drinks evening with mates or the bestie. One of the few places in the area with bang-on Thai food and a boss level bar & crew. Nice big terrace for summer and a cosy high table bar setup inside makes it perfect for groups of four starting out a big night in de Pijp.

Ate here two days in a row on our trip. Food and drinks are incredible! Staff is friendly and helpful- great music and vibes. I had the coconut soup with chicken and mushrooms with a side of rice and my husband had the pad Thai.. both amazing.

Sat on the terrace this afternoon and had lunch. Fast and friendly service and after ordering we were also asked if we wanted a glass of water. Free. Food tasted delicious, but the main component of our two dishes was very meager. There were three shrimp in my wife's entire dish and my dish only had a few pieces of beef. Despite this point of interest, we still had a delicious lunch.

Food is very good. But the most i like about here is staff. They all are very kind and helpfull

Great thai restaurant find in a lovely, but busy area of Amsterdam. We had the chicken pad thai and the beef with garlic sauce. Both dishes were very tasty and included fresh ingredients which gave it more of an authentic feel. The restaurant has a great vibe with the majority of patrons opting to sit outside in the terrace area. The staff were super friendly!

İt is nice place to have seat and rest with coffee. Price are normal. You need to park vehicle on road and walk here. But parking fee is too expensive. 6 euro for an hour.

The food here is incredibly wholesome! My tummy and my heart were so happy with every single bite! I ordered the Pad Thai and the green curry (my fav).

Nice place but it didn't excite me. The service guys were nice but our table was on a slope and the chairs were quite uncomfortable. The food, in general, was good but the flavors could not be distinguished as the dishes we soon had were full of spices, unfortunately poorly balanced. We also had some tomato juice which turned out to be spicy, even though it wasn't listed on the menu

We were looking for a cozy place to have something to eat while strolling around the Albert Cuyp. Just walked down a street and there we saw Bar Mash. We love azeatic food so we just took a chance. Once inside we were served friendly and cheerfully. Had the laab kai from the menu and have never eaten such a surprising, innovative and delicious dish. What a flavor bomb👌 It came from a tiny little kitchen with room for 1 cook, very nice. If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely have a bite to eat here again! 😃

A chill place for food and cocktails! We suggest that you try the pad thai (I had the tofu version and thoroughly enjoyed it), along with the Raspberry Clover Club cocktail which is very refreshing and matches very well with the pad thai!

I have been here multiple times (both for lunch and dinner). Every visit has always been delightful. Small menu but delightful items. My faves are the curries and pad thai. Place is super quaint and you can sit outside (covered) with heaters.

I have been coming here for a long time, the food is always good, the service is also great, but I ate chicken cashew 2 days ago and got food poisoning afterwards.

Delicious restaurant in the heart of De Pijp, Amsterdam. Soooooo authentic. We got the green curry and the tofu broccoli rice bowl. Was so fresh and pure and the perfect way to end a day. Yum!!!!

Great atmosphere and delicious food and drinks. Definitely recommend it for a dinner before a night out or with friends. They have a nice outdoor heated terrace. Inside it’s very cozy but there’s only 4-5 tables so it’s not easy to get a spot on busy days.

I came here in a group of 3 for dinner at around 6pm. It was fairly quiet but built up quickly so make sure to get in fast! Great atmosphere, lovely low lighting which felt intimate and well spaced tables. The food was really delicious. I had the chicken, brocolli and cashew stirfry and it was wonderful although a bit spicier than I expected. My partner got the garlic beef which was tasty and the beef was well cooked. My friend got the pad thai kai and really enjoyed it. The service was really friendly and spoke perfect English. The only hiccup was they forgot our entree but the meals were a perfect size so that didn't affect us too much and we weren't charged for it. They were also very understanding about my allergies (onion) and were able to accommodate us easily. The price was good and the meals were great for a single serve, really well balanced, especially in an area that can be insanely expensive! Overall, I would highly recommend it unless you have a weak spice tolerance. Good to ask beforehand 😊

One of my favorite restaurant in amsterdam, service is quick and thoughtful, food is delicious and prices are fair, especially for lunch. The terrasse is huge and heated in winter making it the best place to eat outside despite the cold rainy days.

2nd visit and just as many weeks! The service, the food and the drinks! The negroni is made the best I have ever tasted! I asked for beef garlic stir fry (with extra chilli) and both times it has been absolutely delicious. My partner ordered a spicy prawn curry and then prawn pad Thai! We cannot rate the food enough! Hats off to the chef. And lastly thank you to Isabelle! Friendly, and recommended the pad Thai dish after explaining some flavours may not work! Highly recommend and we will be back!!!

Dit is een fantastisch gezellige bar waar ook klassiekers uit de thaise keuken geserveerd wordt (denk aan pad thai kai). Deze plek is erg geschikt voor een lowkey avondje eten buiten de deur en een drankje. Hier is weinig zitplek en het team is erg klein wat de sfeer erg gemoedelijk en intiem maakt

Found this place on a whim, sooo glad we did. Staff are awesome, pleasanta nd welcoming and then the food was amazing. Pad thai and beef masaman was ordered. Unreal, more than worth the price. Will defo call again 🤘🏼

We ordered small beers and were given large beers. After clarifying with the waiter, he said it's fine. Eventually, we were charged for large beers.

Comida muy sabrosa; hemos comido rollitos primavera, pad thai kai, masaman curry con ternera, y stir fry de pollo y brócoli. De postre el sorbete de mango. Nos ha gustado todo mucho y los camareros muy simpáticos. Nos ha salido a 20€/persona la cena. Recomendable!

The place itself is a small but well designed terrace with a small inside are. It is located in a nice area of De Pijp. The food was AMAZING!! we had a really really good pad Thai which was also a fairly big portion for its price. The service was also top notch. It was fast, helpful and friendly in the same time. I can definitely recommend to try the place if you’re in Amsterdam.
