Bar Moqum in Omval/Overamstel

This is a restaurant inside a hotel. I tried their Margherita pizza, and it was delicious. The staff were respectful and helpful.

Nos alojamos en el hotel por un par de días como parte de una conferencia. Utilizamos el bar para las redes sociales varias veces y es muy agradable, pero lo más destacado es la gran actitud del personal en particular Adam. Excelente atención y servicio al cliente.

The man in the kitchen at bar moqum, a fuller man with gray hair almost poisoned me with a pizza that was still half frozen, after 1 bite I immediately became sick. The best man did not want to make a new one because it was 1 minute past his end of work time. The thought process of the man in the kitchen is horrible.

Great atmosphere, attentive staff. Ribs were cooked very quickly and deliciously) Spring rolls were not very pleasant. They allowed to take food to the room directly with the plate))

This is just a very good bar and we liked our Moqum burger and Salad. The cocktails looked nice and the chardonnay was good. Service was friendly and helpful. So see you soon!

The bar looks great and we loved the atmosphere and colours etc. What was not so good: with a Moqum burger and Sate the chips had way to much salt. We didn't finish that meal. Waiters serving drinks and coffee with there hands on the glass or cup. That was not very hygienic. Taking a picture for a group is always nice to do. But the esthiria coli bacteria is one of the most common on it. Not washing your hands after the picture and serving more drinks was far from healthy! Understanding of HACCP RULES these waiters didn't had any clue. Spoke one of them and explained the situation. It sounded logical so after our explanation he served the drinks how it supposedly should be done. Thank You! I did send an formal complaint today so hopefully they will reply.

What a nice bar! The cocktails are delicious and the styling is very attractive. I would even visit this bar if I didn’t sleep in the hotel. Really recommended!

Diverse keren hebben wij al heerlijk gegeten in restaurant Amstelle (aanrader!). In hetzelfde hotel is er ook een mooie bar, Bar Moqum. Hier hebben we genoten van lekkere drankjes en gezelligheid. De ambiance is super sfeervol en de service vriendelijk.

Sehr schöne Bar mit gemütlichen Tische und Sofas .Doch der Service eine Katastrophe habe docht den schlechtesten aperol spritz meines Lebens getrunken. extrem sauer .Als ich die Kellnerin nach der Rechnung fragte kam nichts dann ging ich an die Bar und wollte da bezahlen wieder nichts .. Die Kellner standen nur blöde am Telefon rum .Als ich die Bar entnervt verlassen wollte ohne zu bezahlen kamen sie angerannt

Na een dagje shoppen nog even een drankje in de bar van het hotel… inmiddels wacht ik nu na 45 min en 3x vragen nog steeds op mijn cocktail…. Terwijl dat de tent amper voor de helft gevuld is… Na 45 minuten kwam eindelijk de (verkeerde 🙈) cocktail. Pluspunten voor de barman, die bij ons z’n excuses kwam aanbieden en de drankjes hoefden we niet te betalen…! Goed opgelost!

Jolie bar spacieux , avec des coins sympathique pour partager un.verre entre amis ou amoureux ! L endroit est un.peu sombre mais tranquille le prix est attractif

According to the website the Bar belongs to the hotel. I wanted to take two drinks to my room, unfortunately that wasn’t possible. The employee was quite awkward and unfriendly.

Gezellig en geanimeerde barman. Had aandacht voor zijn klanten. Tijd voor een praatje en maakte overheerlijke cocktails. Absolute aanrader

Bar Moqum bevind zich binnen in het van der Valk hotel, bij binnenkomst direct rechtsaf slaan en een klein stukje rechtdoor lopen en je bent er. Zoals je van een van der Valk hotel kan verwachten is het hier uitstekend vertoeven! Deze bar heeft verschillende soorten zitjes en de algehele sfeer is ontspannen een sfeervol dankzij de modere ingerichting. Het personeel is vriendelijk en snel. Een absolute aanrader om eens iets te gaan drinken als je in de buurt bent!

Great staff and a lovely place to chill having a beer around the open fire

Die eher kühle Atmosphäre - verstärkt durch die Klimaanlage - konnten wir bei einem ausgezeichneten Snack am Tischchen unmittelbar beim Cheminé bestens überlisten. Rascher Service und sowohl das extra scharfe Curry wie auch die feinen Salate haben bestens geschmeckt. Ein HammerIPA vom Fass hat dem Ganzen die Krone aufgesetzt.

Prima producten en service die je bij Van der Valk mag verwachten

Nos vestimos y fuimos al bar a comer algo esta noche. Hacen pizza en el bar, pero cuando preguntamos si podíamos pedirla con nuestras bebidas, nos dijeron "No, solo puedes comerla en tu habitación, no queremos que la gente empiece a comer pizza en el bar" . Así que pedimos las hamburguesas, no estoy seguro de por qué comer una hamburguesa en el bar es mejor que la pizza, hmmm.

Beautifully designed and looking elegant. Unfortunately, the service is a big mismatch. We were a group of about 30 people and the 4 staff did not manage to serve us in a timely, professional manner. To give you an idea, the 6-8 people at the bar (3 waiters there) were having teouble to get the staff s attention. My friend and I waited 10 minutes to get served and when we finally managed to get a waitress's attention, she did not think it was necessary to take out orders but rudely waved us away telling us to go to another waiter. When I ask her to please get that other waiter for us she got even rider and when I communicate my astonishment about such unprofessional rude reaction, she decided to imitate my voice making fun of me. Another waiter was sending text messages whilst people were trying to get served. What a pity, this could be a great place for expat meetups like ours or business. I would have recommended it to my business partners and company but now won't as o cannot afford the risk of bad impact that would have. Otherwise, parking is easy and public transport close by.

Afgelopen week in deze mooie hotelbar verbleven. Bij binnenkomst een mooie warme sfeer, met een goede bar en een heerlijk haardvuur. Het eten was heerlijk en de rendang was om te smullen! Al met al een aanrader dus!

Afgelopen week bij Bar Moqum geweest, wat is dat een super gezellige bar. Heerlijk eten, goede service & sfeervolle interieur. Je kan hier echt heel goed vertoeven met kleine of grote gezelschappen. Echt een aanrader... en een voorbeeld voor hoe een hotelbar moet zijn.
