Lunch sandwiches are really worth it! They know how to turn both a tostada and the "normal" lunch sandwich into a party.

Price/quality is really not in proportion. It took more than an hour to get the 'zelle' board on the table. €34 for 4 frozen calamaris, 3 slices of prosciutto, a thimbleful of muhammara, 10 olives, some shrimp croquettes and 3 chicken skewers. Nice service, nice atmosphere, but absolutely not value for money.

The food is really tasty, but Jesus, it takes so long. We had lunch with the 6 of us and we waited at least 1.5 hours for 2 sandwiches, a sandwich, half a bowl of soup and 2 pastries. We also ordered different coffees such as matchas and iced coffees, I understand that this takes some work, but it just took too long. I will sit again for the food, but not for the service at all and I think that's a shame because the sandwiches are really good and something different from the usual in Leeuwarden

Very tasty food and you really get value for your money. The staff was also friendly. I eat vegetarian myself and that can sometimes be quite difficult, but I was able to eat really good and tasty food here. Bar Zelle is a cozy place where you can have a nice dinner. I definitely recommend the olives as a starter and for tapas the shaksuka and mushrooms are also great!

Nice small bar in the center with friendly staff. The food is good and fresh

When we went to eat here it was nice and warm inside. I was completely fed up with the cold outside. A lady received us kindly. The man who brought us the food looked very tired. His lace was also loose, which really irritated me. Luckily he had it reattached later. We were allowed to sit by the window so we had a nice view outside. My brother suddenly appeared to be walking past. He didn't see us.

You can enjoy delicious food here! The atmosphere is very nice, with nice music in the background. You can also sit on the terrace. There is a lot of choice on the menu, they also have oats, almond and coconut milk for €0.50 extra. The toilet are very clean and the staff is very friendly! The salmon sandwich and the shakshuka are highly recommended!

Small bar and restaurant in the middle of Leeuwarden! Cozy restaurant on the canal with a charming ambience. Delicious dishes and friendly service. The price is acceptable. Perfect for relaxed evenings. Highly Recommended!

We had a fantastic extensive lunch here. The sangria cava, the tostadas, puccias, prawns, chicken satay and finally the churros (sweet) were all delicious. The staff also deserves a 10+! Very attentive, pleasant and they take the time for you. We will definitely come back here!

Only the coffee maker makes a lot of noise. If you sit next to it, you regularly cannot have a conversation. It's better to be on the other side of the bar.

When we are in Leeuwarden, we like to eat in the Zelle bar. The tapas, for example chicken skewers, pimientos and bread with aioli, are very tasty, the waitress is always nice.

Had a latte and triffle here. Service is very nice, toilet inside very clean. The seats were not comfortable, I felt like I was sitting on the beach, a bit unstable. Latte with caramel was tasty, triffle was also quite good, but we spent €23 for this, which we thought was too pricey for what we got

The food was ok but we had to wait for an hour 😥. The bathroom door knob was confusing to open. I thought I got stuck in the bathroom.

Nice to have a snack, drink or coffee with two people or one, with one person too large group. Visited this place with family members because 1 of my daughters got a job there. Small setting but cozy I found the inventory somewhat 'bare' and/or basic.

Been here a few times now, for lunch and drinks, and every time it was a party. Nice small menu with tasty dishes and friendly staff. Be sure to try the prawn croquettes!

Met een groep van 10 het 4 gangen tapas menu gegeten. 3 rondes proeverijen hartig en de 4e ronde bestond uit een proeverij nagerechten. Alles goed op smaak, goed warm, ruim voldoende en veel variatie. Daarnaast een gemoedelijke sfeer en vriendelijke bediening. Een absolute aanrader.

Leuk, gezellig, erg lekker eten, een fijne sfeer met een goede bediening. Meer wil je niet als je uit eten gaat en dat krijg je bij Zelle Bar Bisto.

Het eten is gevarieerd en lekker, ook is de locatie echt fantastisch! Ondanks dat het midden in de binnenstad is zijn de prijzen erg betaalbaar en is het wel degelijk het geld waard. Erg vriendelijk personeel en een gezellige sfeer.

Super Platten zum Teilen. Nette Bedienungen. Sehr schön im Herzen von Dokkum gelegen. Unbedingt draußen sitzen und die Atmosphäre genießen.

Geen sterren restaurant, maar niets op aan te maken! Heerlijk gegeten, leuke bediening en prijsvriendelijk. Dus: op naar Dokkum!! En dat deden we vanavond weer. Nog steeds prima!!

Heerlijk gegeten! Bediening is super en de gerechten zijn heerlijk!

Het eten was heerlijk, maar de bediening helaas zeer zeer traag en onoplettend. Als ze op het terras eten kwamen brengen, keken ze niet rond en liepen meteen weg, terwijl meerdere gasten iets wilden bestellen. Lang op drinken en eten moeten wachten, soms wel 45 minuten op 2 drankjes. Jammer, want het eten is heerlijk.

Best frites of the World! Wirklich! Auch sonst klasse! Tolles junges und freundliches Team. Tapas & more exzellent. Und vor allem selbst im Juli keine deutschen Touristen! Man spricht hier auch netherlands oder englisch.

Mooi gelegen, fraaie locatie met prettige inrichting. Bediening dikke prima. Eten was goed, maar vond het (qua smaak) niet heel verrassend. Maar al met al zou ik er best nog es weer heen gaan.

Leuk restaurant, vriendelijk medewerkster....ondanks dat het rustig was, had het toch een gezellige uitstraling.

We zijn met 8 personen wezen eten. Vriendelijk personeel, gezellige sfeer. Heerlijk gegeten. Een aanrader.

Gute Auswahl und guter Geschmack. Service könnte noch ein wenig besser sein…. Einfach mal rumlaufen und nachschauen, ob Getränke benötigt werden oder zwischendurch mal nachfragen, ob alles ok ist ;-)

Gezellig, knus, lekker, betaalbaar restaurant. Heerlijke Spaanse Tapas. Variatie van vis vlees brood ajoli. Zoals ze zelf omschrijven genoeg voor 2 personen. Extra friet met kerrie gembersaus was een goede aanvulling. Lokaal bier en lekkere wijnen. Vriendelijk en net personeel, verstaan hun vak! Aanrader om te gaan eten!
