Skybar Leeuwarden in Vossepark & Helicon

I celebrated my bachelorette with my friends at this restaurant. We sat next to the window and saw nice view of Leeuwarden. The service was delicate and charming. Foods were tasty which were surprising us with a reasonable price of fine dining. Probably we will comeback.

It was a wonderful experience. The view is gorgeous, and the food is reminiscent of a Michelin star. I recommend it for couples, romantic retreats, dates, business, or a weekend getaway. The wine selection is exquisite. We are eager to return.

This was a very nice culinary experience in a beautiful location. You will be amazed by the view, but you can also marvel at all the beauty on the plate The dishes were a feast for the eyes and tasted fantastic: refined, surprising and well balanced. The service was also excellent: professional, knowledgeable and genuinely friendly. An absolute must for those looking for a combination of atmosphere, view and gastronomic class.

You could call it a culinary highlight, this restaurant on the 11th floor of the WTC hotel. It's spacious, everyone is dressed to the nines, some even exaggerate a bit, haha. The food is a sight to behold, and it tastes perfect. In my opinion, the courses took far too long, almost an hour per course... This restaurant has been awarded a Bib Gourmand distinction by Michelin, just below a Michelin star. This distinction is awarded to restaurants that offer excellent value for money. But then you have to take the time, and as mentioned before... It was wonderful to be able to eat here once, although I couldn't do it every day. But then again, I'm not used to this luxury!

We met the new year 2025 here. The atmosphere is very cozy, the service is at a high level, live music, singing, dancing. On both sides of the restaurant, huge windows offer a view of the entire city of Leeuwarden. A traditional dish, oliebollen, became a pleasant surprise from the restaurant. Since we sat at the bar, we didn't have to try the restaurant menu. But we will definitely come back here again!

Had a delicious 5-course dinner at this restaurant. In short: exceeded our expectations, everything was right, good and nice service, matching wine arrangement was TOP. Looking back on a successful evening. Many thanks!!

Wonderful view over Leeuwarden. Cozy seating, Christmas decorations. Courteous, well-informed service staff who are very happy to choose the wine. Will also have the Christmas menu on December 25th. enjoy.

Cozy atmosphere, young, fast service and extremely tasty food

I've been there with my father. The order did not go well. You were also not allowed to choose where you sat, the preference was to enjoy the beautiful view at the window, but unfortunately that was not possible there, but I had to eat at the Holland Casino because only one person had food. I also reported that I am not happy. don't recommend going there. I've been there before and it was 1000 times better

Tonight we enjoyed a delicious bib gourmand menu prepared by Mike Kalkman and his team. The appetizer beforehand had different structures that immediately brought our taste buds to life. The scallop prepared with wild lime candied garlic was a good start to the evening. The highlight was the venison fillet that melted on our tongue. The sweet chestnut and 25 year old balsamic vinegar completed the dish. Cod should of course not be missed and accompanied by light garlic and risotto it was again a pleasure. pumpkin dessert was a feast on the plate, beautiful different structures combined with ice cream. Highly recommended and if you want to explore Leeuwarden further, there are binoculars at the window to bring this city closer.

Great. Good reception and what a beautiful place it is. Food is great, every product tastes good and you can taste it. For us a highlight that we would like to visit again.

Today we wanted to celebrate that our mother had her driver's license extended for one year with coffee and cake at the sky bar in the WTC hotel. What goes on there and how she approached us as a customer is truly astonishing. She said she needed to know if they had time to serve pastries. It was also not possible to sit by the window because it is all reserved (for sometime in the evening or something) so we certainly could not take a seat there for that hour. This lady was anything but customer friendly and seemed too busy flirting with her colleague. Of course we left again because we did not feel very welcome there. Never going here again. A shame about such a beautiful place. Tip: consider only placing staff there who know how to deal with customers.

It is on the 11th floor of the hotel. We went to eat so you only had the option of making salads and sandwiches. The discreet salads and snack-type sandwiches are also very discreet; It's not worth it. The desserts, on the other hand, were delicious. The restaurant is nice, comfortable and you can see views of the city (it is not something spectacular) The lady who served us at the meal was very attentive and friendly, along with the dessert it was the best part of the meal. I guess the experience would have been better at dinner time.

Wonderful experience, amazing artistic dishes made of the highest quality ingredients, incredible views of the city scape, very good service provided by the professional staff. Bonus, enjoyed a 5-course dinner at the 3-course pre-fixe price!

The beautifully prepared dishes match the beautiful view of my hometown. We were here to celebrate my birthday last year (😇) but waited for a nice long summer day. We succeeded and that view alone is an experience. The fact that this was also experienced by a family, Pake and Beppe, including children and grandchildren, who came upstairs especially for this purpose and blocked the view at our table for quite a while was a bit special. We understand, but asking if this would be appreciated was also an option. The food and wines were as expected and certainly worthy of the Michelin recommendation. We had a wonderful evening! Great that it's almost my birthday again! 😉

Delicious dinner last night at Eleve! Had 6 courses and the portions are quite large, home-made bread and delicious wines. Service is top notch. See you again soon.

Fantastic view. Wonderfully relaxing. Very quiet at lunch and afternoon. Reservations are required for dinner.
