De Skeve Toren in Binnenstad

I spent a day in Leeuwarden as a tourist in my own country. We found 'De Skeve Toren' near our parking garage. Delicious food, friendly and fast service, and a nice shop. We'll definitely be back the next time we visit Leeuwarden.

The tenderloin was just perfect 👌 😀

A cozy and atmospheric place, great nachos, but the staff were a bit inattentive (they were more focused on each other). After we ordered our drinks and got them, their attention disappeared, even though it wasn't busy at all.

It's a shame I can only give five stars, because dining here was a fantastic experience. Tastefully decorated and atmospheric restaurant, friendly and professional service, and delicious food. We will definitely be back.

A bit of a strange menu. We had the rendang croquettes, which were good but had a strange flavor. It's a nice spot near the leaning tower, though it's quite pricey.

Delicious food, cozy place and friendly service, worth repeating, a downside was that we were almost in the toilet in a bit of a tight spot, personally I would give up that table, especially because everyone has to pass close to you and the person opposite only has a view of the toilet, so far I hope you can do something with it, the rest was great and we will definitely come back again

Good lunch in a beautiful place

We sat on the terrace for a while with delicious coffee and tea and tasty pastries.

We only had coffee and cake, but it was delicious and beautifully presented. The cozy bar inside looks great, as does the terrace!

If I could give the Skeve Toren 6 or even 7 stars, I would without a moment's hesitation. We had an incredibly delicious meal here. Everything is on the platter/shared dining, which we really enjoy. Seemingly simple things like a beef stew, leek soup, and a bowl of rhubarb are elevated to an experience here. So, the staff behind the scenes in the kitchen, as well as the waitresses, everyone is doing a fantastic job. Keep up the good work and hold on to that chef! WOW!!

Great atmosphere, good food, especially the stew, which was very tasty. 👌 Dessert (sugar ball cake with white chocolate cream) was a bit less special and therefore quite average. Borsao bole was an excellent wine to pair with the meat. 🍷

After our wedding ceremony, we sat down on the terrace where we enjoyed a delicious lunch with family and witnesses (22 people), before continuing on to our wedding reception! The tasting was incredibly beautiful and luxurious! Thank you!

The food was delicious! We had a bread board as a starter and a stew as a main course. The service was incredibly fast, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Definitely recommended!

We made an online reservation through Google. That went incredibly smoothly. Upon arrival, we received a friendly welcome, and there was a sign with our name on it that said "Welcome." How wonderful! The restaurant is neat and tastefully decorated. Comfortable chairs and a great atmosphere. The food was more than good. We had the steak of the day, and my wife had the Sea Wolf. We both really enjoyed our meals. The staff also deserve a compliment. They were very professional, friendly, and enthusiastic. In short, everything you need for a fun and delicious evening. Highly recommended.

Friendly but the food is a bit strange

Enjoyed it immensely: Good food and a close team that works very hard, but is always friendly at the same time. I like to come here and will definitely come back!

Highly recommended! All surprising and tasty dishes to share. We had the social deal and you get a lot of good food for that price. An extra plus is that as someone with a dietary requirement (pescetarian) I didn't get something completely different but a variation on the dish (stew but then of chickpeas or the bao bun but then with a different topping). Cozy atmosphere with a view of the Oldehove, nice service. Also nice that they ask if you want the next dish or if you want to wait a bit.

It's definitely worth eating there. Never had such a delicious appetizer. Bread with various dips. Very friendly service

Delicious food! For a place with this quality of food we found the price really good. 2x starter, 2x main course and 4x drinks for €95,-. Really recommended if you want to eat well an evening in Leeuwarden!

This picturesque terrace in Leeuwarden is the place to be if you want good, cozy and delicious food. The menu is very chic and beautifully decorated! - High-quality dishes. - Well prepared to your liking. - And seriously caring staff! All in all, fresh and fruity restaurant!

Once again we had a wonderful Social Deal. The diversity was enormous again and the quality was superb. Very good service. Couldn't be better.

Very nice atmosphere and the personal is very sweet and attentive.

What a cozy place. We were received in a friendly and cheerful manner. The service is attentive and also smooth. The atmosphere inside is cozy and you can talk to each other normally here. The food tastes delicious. And the meat is nice and tender. Sometimes you just have to wait and see with a steak. But this one was fine. The portions here are so large that you can order three courses and have eaten enough after the third course. An alternative to something you don't like is also neatly arranged. We will come back here more often.

The food is very tasty, plates and boards are beautifully laid out. Bottle with tap water on the table. Good, adequate and very friendly service. Gluten free is very well taken into account.

Very tasty food. Even though we had not made a reservation, my lactose-free food was tasty and special. You can taste that it was made with love and attention. Compliments to the chef, but also to all the other staff. Highly recommended.

Vanmiddag gegeten met een vriendin. Vriendelijk personeel en gezellige sfeer. Echter is er bij het afrekenen van de drankjes te veel verrekend. Ik had dit ook later pas door. Beetje jammer, maar het eten was heerlijk!

We had a surprisingly delicious meal at the Skeve Toren. We had a 3 course menu. The taste was fine, the food was nicely presented. The service was friendly, smooth and attentive. The atmosphere is tasteful and cozy. A 'small downside' is that it was sometimes a bit draughty where we were. Also recommended where you can eat well. We will definitely come back again!

Het is een ontzettend gezellig restaurant met heerlijk en bijzonder eten vlakbij de Oldehove. Het ziet er allemaal prachtig uit, bijna zonde om op te eten, maar beslist te lekker om te laten staan. De bediening is vrolijk en erg vriendelijk. Enige minpuntje vond ik dat er veel tijd tussen de gangen zat. We waren er om 18.30 en we waren 21.30 pas klaar met eten. Op zich niet erg, maar als je ook nog wat anders wilt doen die avond, dan is het niet handig.

Via Social Deal met vriendinnen hier gegeten. Een verrassingsmenu met 3 gangen. Erg leuke en vlotte bediening. Leuke gerechtjes op houten plankjes geserveerd. Leuke en smaakvolle combinaties.

A cafe/restaurant that serves food without fuss... fine dining without airs and graces. The alternative description is good, delicious food. Fine service, with humour and a very potable merlot. I will definitely eat here again. Why not 5 stars, well is it a cafe or is it a restaurant.. identity crisis.

Nice little varied menu. Have eaten several times and it is delicious every time. We also enjoyed a BBQ on the terrace with colleagues, highly recommended.

Nice location in the middle of Leeuwarden. We were lucky with a lovely evening sun on the terrace. In addition, good food with pleasant staff. All in all a nice place with a view of the Skeve Tower (De Oldehove), certainly not a punishment to go here!

Quiet and cozy place to relax and have a good meal. Or just have a drink. New lunch menu, I miss the bunpao sandwiches. We will come back for the mussel pan.

Good, nice and beautifully decorated dining location in the center, near the Oldehove. When the weather is nice, there is an outdoor terrace where an extensive BBQ is possible. Service friendly, with humor. Not the largest menu, but varied enough. Main courses large enough, served with bowls of vegetables and fries. Surprisingly good main course of meat on a slice of sugar bread.

Last night we had a truly delicious meal at the Skeve Toren. The service was fantastic, very friendly and attentive. The food exceeded all our expectations and it was a really cozy place.. If you want to stimulate your senses, this is the place! We will definitely come back!

Het was een top avond! Wij hadden gekozen voor de proeverij. Naast het feit dat de planken er verzorgd uitzagen was het ook smaakvol en gevarieerd. 👌🏻 De kok had er een feestje van gemaakt en de bediening was vriendelijk en correct. Het wijnarrangement is uitgebreid en we kregen goed advies. De zaak was schoon en sfeervol. Wat ons betreft een aanrader!
