Note for those who go here: The food is high quality and served quickly. However, portions have shrunk dramatically in recent years, and prices have risen. We ate here for €35 per person with very few drinks, and we were all still hungry afterward.

We were there for dinner on Boxing Day. It was packed, so we were glad we had made a reservation. The decor was completely festive. Our hostess was Sofie/Sophie. She was a very sweet, kind, spontaneous, and knowledgeable woman. She approaches you with interest and offers recommendations when asked. She's quick and very polite. I also want to thank the male colleague who occasionally brought drinks and the male colleague who greeted us at the door and showed us to our table. When I asked if we could sit at a different table than the one we were assigned, they responded very kindly and without any hassle. The food was perfectly fine for us. We didn't need any extra salt or pepper; the food was perfectly seasoned. We had a hamburger, potatoes, squid, salmon, steak (they politely asked how we wanted it prepared), churros, and cheesecake. The only negative point my table companion made was that the cheesecake tasted more like cheese than pastry (I don't know how else to explain it). But that might just be what you're used to. In short, good service. It's a nice place, but honestly, don't expect any culinary highlights, but you can go home with a full stomach. Happy New Year, Team Barça

We'd booked because the Grinch was coming, as was mentioned on social media. I'd messaged them on Instagram to check if he was actually coming that day, and they said yes, he could come any night. So, seven of us girls we knew headed over there and looked at the menu beforehand. When we arrived, the menu was suddenly different, and everything we specifically wanted wasn't there. A few of the girls are vegetarian and could barely eat anything on the menu, so we didn't enjoy the food at all. Without the Grinch, it would have been a very boring evening. If we'd known this, we would never have gone there. It was a shame, because we would have preferred to go somewhere else.

The place has a very cozy and creatively decorated Christmas interior that immediately puts you in a warm, festive mood. I really loved the atmosphere it feels comfortable and inviting, making it a great spot for a date or a relaxed catch-up with friends. The lighting and decor add a lot of charm and make the space feel special. The staff could be a bit more friendly and attentive, but they were still okay and did their job. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, mainly because of the lovely ambiance, and I would definitely consider coming back, especially during the holiday season.

Great food, terrible staff experience. If you cannot handle groups, do not take reservations.

If you are a group of people don’t go there. We were 8 people and they put us in a small table in the corridor of the restaurant. Moreover the staff seemed annoyed by us every time we were asking something. At 20:30 we were still eating and they forced us to leave because another group was coming (we were never informed about it). We had to finish what we had ordered in a rush in order to leave the table. One of the dessert was missing ice cream and we have been told that they had changed the menu on that night (we were also not informed about it and probably they were just running out of ice cream). At the moment of the bill we wanted to spilt it equally but we have been told that it was not possible because they were too busy. The manager came to speak with us and wasted 10 minutes when we could have paid already and left. He even told us that we were annoying them. At the end we could split it and we left. They do not know what hospitality is and the service was really bad. I was a regular guest and I was always recommending this place but yesterday it was terrible.

Awful service, girl was never in time, to get the menu you need to ask at least twice. When we asked the menu for desserts she forgot and brought it in a 30 minutes, when we were about to leave. Atmosphere is ok, really nice to make a few photos, but it was my second time here with the bed service, so I will not back for the third time. Food - well it is not real Spanish food so we can not compare.

The service was fantastic, but the food and cost were out of proportion. The worst pulled chicken tacos, tasteless (the cooked chicken was bone dry). I made a comment about it, but no response. So, once and never again.

I’ve never seen such a bad service and disrespect with a customer. We ordered something that never came to our table and they charged us for it. Many options on menu were not available.

The restaurant did not have the full menu available, and the dishes we ordered took an excessively long time to arrive. One of the items never came, even after we reminded the staff three times. We eventually asked to cancel it, yet it still appeared on the bill. When we pointed out that it was the third time we were requesting the same item, the server responded rudely and mentioned that she did not actually work there and was only helping out. Overall, we left highly dissatisfied with the poor level of service. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this establishment.

Food is good, environment is set up for Christmas thats why we went but the service is by far the worst we had in Amsterdam in 4 years. Table for 8, food arrived to each person with 20mins distance, we ordered 1 item, asked for updates 3 times and it didn't come afer 2.5hours waiting. we went to the waitress that we ordered (twice) and she came with terrible attitude mentioning she already finished her shift and she worked for 9 hours so we should ask to other employees - which we had done as well. In the end, it was in the bill so we asked to remove, once we complained to the other waitress she said: you can complain to me, she (first one) doesn't even work here she was just helping...like... I don't even have the words for this, it was really bad. My first bad review in google, and none of us are ever coming back.

The only good thing about this place was the Christmas decorations. Our food took an hour to arrive, and several items were missing—we had to keep asking for them. The waitress was extremely disrespectful when we asked about the missing pie, which still appeared on our bill. The toilet was also not clean, had no toilet paper, and the baby-changing station was broken. Avoid this place; there are much better options in the city.

I was helped by a bartender named Ise. I didn't know what to order, so I got her best friend's favorite: a sour 43. Excellent selection, and the speed was amazing! This is the kind of person who deserves a raise. Ise also put on a really great house playlist, which I quickly favorited on my Spotify. The place is very cozy, and the rest of her colleagues (especially Dunya) were very helpful and friendly. I'd love to come back again, preferably every day, but hey, I have to work so I can earn some money and be here more often.

Non-alcoholic drinks, very long waiting time, rude service

The place is called Barça, but it's about as Spanish as I am Dutch. We ordered a tortilla that was basically an oil soup with chunks of raw potato, a ceviche that was anything but ceviche, and some wings that had clearly been on a spiritual retreat in the microwave. It's pretty clear the cooks aren't Spanish, because any Spaniard would have been ashamed to serve that. To top it all off, the place smelled like vomit, and the bill arrived with a smile: 45 euros. The only drinkable thing was the beer, and even that wasn't great, because it was a Heineken. In short: an unforgettable gastronomic experience… I wish I could forget it.
