The food was delicious. Limited selection, but something for everyone. I would definitely come back.

It's always a treat to have lunch here! Friendly service, a lovely decor, and a varied menu! The drinks are also excellent!

I had lunch at the Barista Café again last week. We're regulars, and they're always happy. The staff is friendly and attentive, the food is delicious, and it's always pleasantly busy. The tables in the middle feel a bit cramped because they're a bit too close together and the walking path. I'm already craving another Barista breakfast 🍳

Actually I had coffee in the morning. They have a nice atmosphere, not so special, but it is good for coffee. They have delicious espresso, although the prices are a little high but it is acceptable.

If you order a coffee and a cappuccino for €7.20, you expect a treat, top service and hygiene. The coffee was reasonable (score 7); service: score 6; atmosphere: 6, hygiene: 4, due to dirty tea towel of waitress and presentation of glass of water (offer with hand at the top edge). In short, we do not recognize the slogan: 'the place to enjoy'.

Good food and drinks (good coffee) and friendly service. Still, I only give one star, because of the fake whipped cream, the dirty toilet and because it is very expensive and very noisy (due to the acoustics and sometimes also because of the crowds). The space is quite high, so there is enough space under the ceiling to hang soundproofing panels, for example. You also sit very close together, which is also an area for improvement. The pieces of cake are very small and you don't get real whipped cream with it but fake, KlopKlop or something like that. Coffee and lunches are really too expensive.

I entered this café because I was attracted by its cozy atmosphere that radiated from the windows and I wasn't disappointed! The coffee was great and my tea choice was greatly encouraged by the server! The appeltaart was delicious!! All the workers were very kind and warm, I will definitely be back☺️🩷

Very cozy place with delicious coffee and tasty cakes in the center of Zeist. The flat brown and chocolate cake with whipped cream are recommended! Nice employees, nice decor. Easy to reach by car, there is a parking garage underneath. Top place to meet in the Utrecht/Amersfoort area, minus the crowds!

Ik had bij een juffrouw sjaksjoeka besteld. Het brood was niet gaar, nog RAUW vanbinnen! Ik meldde dit aan de juf. Zij zag het niet.... ik krijg nieuw brood. Weer rauw. Ziet u dat dan niet? nee, hield ze vol. Wat een leugenaar! Brood weer nieuw en geroosterd, de 3e keer. Ik ben toen een tijd niet geweest. Een paar maanden geleden, de juf was weg gegaan en was er plots weer. Vroeg ik als altijd om mijn wijntje. De juf herkende mij niet meer..... ik friste haar geheugen nog op over het rauwe brood. Nee, ik herken u niet..... Ik kreeg andere wijn, ik proefde het gelijk. Nee hoor, zei ze. U hebt de wijn die u altijd hebt. toen kwam het nieuwe sprookje. Ik wil u DEZELFDE wijn wel uit een ANDERE fles geven, want dat wil wel eens schelen? Hoe krijgt ze het verzonnen? Ik had al eens eerder een stuk zwarte bessentaart gehad.... uit de diepvries, het was hard en koud. Ben gelijk naar het opperhoofd toe gegaan. Er was niets aan de hand, maar ik kon voor deze keer mijn geld terugkrijgen. Dit is nu al de zoveelste keer dat ik onheus behandeld ben.

Today I went to Barista Cafe. Unfortunately, I left with mixed feelings… I haven't been to Barista Cafe in a while but I always liked it so I went there again on my free Tuesday for dinner. I was shocked by the service... T café was just over half of the tables filled with customers, so you would think it would be fine. After 10 minutes, a waitress had already walked through the place 3 times to the places where it was full (the tables further in the cafe) but did not notice the tables near the door. She also stood in a place where she had no contact with the guests. Ultimately, I walked up to the counter to ask if I could be helped, which is very embarrassing for me as a guest to have to do. Then came the ordering of drinks and food... I was quite thirsty and needed caffeine. So my drink order was a latte macchiato AND a tea. The tea was allowed to cool nicely while I drank the coffee and waited for my order. Then I wanted the Chicken Mango but on a wrap because I am very difficult with bread. They had wraps on the menu so I didn't see a problem with swapping the bread for the wrap. But I thought wrong because at first the waitress was gaping at me and stuttering a bit when asked if the bread could be replaced with a wrap, after which I suggested I ask someone if that was possible. Then I get a no on orchestra but for no reason. Now I'm really starting to feel like a real “Karen”, but I still wanted to know why it is so difficult to invest instead of a sandwich; to make a wrap... So I asked for someone who could explain it. After a few minutes someone also came to me to discuss the order and she started with "sorry, it's busy". This is a sentence that the guest (in this case me) cannot understand. Then she didn't really know what the question was, I thought, so I asked why it couldn't be on a wrap. She immediately started with no, it just can't be done and after a bit of asking she said yes it can be done, but then it can't be put in the oven (the wrap). And she finished by asking if there was a 2nd person because I had ordered two drinks. My thoughts were okay, fine, so it was never a no, it was possible under one condition. Now on a more positive note: The food and drinks were delicious and it came to me quite quickly. So I understand why I am always so pleased with the Barista Café. They are good combinations of drinks and food for a great price! The only thing missing in my opinion is a good manager and structure. And with that also properly trained waitresses. They should have been able to handle this crowd just fine with the amount of people they have, but the communication and the way they go through the business is messy and that means you miss a lot. Very sad to see as a Fan of Barista Cafe.. It can be better so 'do better..!'

Very nice location with delicious vegan chocolate cake! I come here regularly. Sometimes we also pick up the cake, that's no problem at all. Pleasant staff. Coffees are also available with oat milk and possibly decaf.

Had great coffee and tea at this place! They are located very central in Zeist, which makes it a cozy get away for autumn and winter. Service was very friendly and helpful and made sure all age groups in our family had a good stay. Prices were fair and they accepted credit cards. Great experience!

BARISTA CAFE IN ZEIST Apple pie challenge Barista café Zeist located on the Emmaplein in Zeist, right opposite the H&M. The location in the middle of the center is the ideal place to relax during or after shopping. The emphasis is on the delicious coffee that is brewed with great craftsmanship. ❤️ In addition to regular coffee, they also have other tasty coffees such as cappuccino or latte macchiato with caramel or marshmallow and many other types. The homemade apple pie tasted delicious. The cake had a tart taste and the sweetness of the apples. The bottom had a firm texture and the grid was delicious.😋 I would love to come back here. 👍🏼 #thetrialblogger

Ontbijtje gedaan hier, het duurste ontbijt genomen. Echter is alles in miniatuur uitgevoerd, klein croissanttje, klein glaasje jus, 1 boterhammetje met karig plakje oude kaas en 3 verschrompelde blaadjes sla. Zou het eerder een kabouter ontbijtje noemen. Daarna zijn we nog ergens anders maar wat gaan eten. Serveerster wist nog te vertellen "voor de een is het te veel en voor de ander te weinig", met die reactie voor ons in ieder geval geen volgende keer.

Always delicious coffee and carrot cake. We now had a taco chips dish with chicken. It was delicious again, but now we got so much less than last time, perhaps to compensate for the expensive prices, but it was very noticeable. Now there was only half a plate. But it was wonderful

My favorite coffee spot in the Zeist. They have really tasty desserts and wonderful coffee. The staff are very kind and you always feel like you're at home.

De koffie is lekker maar het gebak is veel te klein voor 5€. Een puntje cheese cake die de helft van de bodem mist zou ik niet eens aan mijn kinderen thuis geven laat staan verkopen. Personeel vriendelijk maar onervaren.

We ordered coffee and cake. Unfortunately, many pastries were no longer in stock at 3 p.m. and the kitchen was closed. Finally after waiting a while. And at that moment our coffee and drinks were finally made, the teacher came and announced that everything was finished. Unfortunately, people who had taken a seat after us were also helped earlier and were provided with pastries. In short, really bad! Apparently no manager was present. You almost couldn't blame the young girls walking there.

Beans from Brasil or Columbia for espresso or lungo. I assume the Columbia for espresso but I tried the Brasilian beans. Good espresso, nice crema, solid bitters but not too strong and a full body. But the body was a bit hollow IMHO, it lacked depth or definition. I'd say an average espresso, not great not bad. But that's my taste.

Plus: drinks and food on the table quickly, good coffee, friendly and attentive consideration of dietary requirements, beautiful view of the ugly city center of Zeist. Minus: food at the price compared to the quantity, butts on the floor of the terrace, still crumbs on the table from the previous guests, hair in the blankets on the terrace (it is 23 degrees...), just went inside paying because no one had come out for 5 minutes... Suggestion: ask if everything is to your liking, clear the dishes from the tables more quickly (6 places available but everything is occupied by glassware), wipe the table with a cloth. I'm still waiting for my glass of water. I won't be back, sorry ladies.
